Situato di fronte al villaggio verde e al fiume, questo cottage semi-indipendente, convertito con cura, offre una deliziosa base di vacanza per rilassarsi o da cui esplorare la zona. Buone passeggiate e piste ciclabili sono tutte intorno e con artisti del calibro di Chatsworth House, The Peak District, Mansfield, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham e Newark, tutti a breve distanza c'è molto da vedere e da fare. C'è una buona selezione di negozi nel villaggio e con il pub Jug and Glass accanto c'è un posto comodo per godersi la birra e il cibo locale. Negozio ½ miglio, pub 10 iarde e ristorante 4½ miglia.

Cosy, well equipped cottage and great central location for Creswell Grags, Sherwood Forest, Clumber
Cosy, well equipped cottage and great central location for Creswell Grags, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park and Bolsover Castle; within 20 min drive approx (all dog friendly too). Poulter Country Park 3 mins drive. My one trivial gripe is there was no decent kitchen chopping knife!

We had a lovely long weekend in Jug and Glass cottage.
We had a lovely long weekend in Jug and Glass cottage. On arrival found some lovely treats left for us .....Thank You........The beds were nice and comfy and lovely and warm. We found the cottage cosy and as advertised very dog friendly. Plenty of throws to cover furniture if needed and dog towels that came in very handy as we had lots of rain and had used our own doggy towels. Our 3 small dogs enjoyed the garden to have a run around in and was nice and secure. The pub next door was great for a nice pub meal and found the staff very friendly. Spent our only dry day walking in Sherwood forest which was only 20 mins away. So much more to visit in the area so would love a return visit and of course we will stay again in the Glass and Jug cottage.

It was the little touches that made all the difference to our stay, a basket full of throws to cover the sofas, doggie bowls and doggie towels in pantry and a fully enclosed garden for the dogs to lounge in, saying all this the place was very clean and very well equipped thoughout the added touch of some board games for family challenges.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage and we will be back again next year, the cottage is spacious
Our second visit to this lovely cottage and we will be back again next year, the cottage is spacious, extremely well equipped and has a safe, nice sized garden. The pub next door is such a bonus too, with great food and very friendly staff. The local area is beautiful, so much to see and do no matter what the weather. This is my personal favourite place to stay.

This is the third year we have been to the cottage and already booked for next year. Next door is the jug and glass pub, you can take your dogs in and excellent food. Would recommend this cottage . The photo is of the cenotaph and river right outside the cottage.
