Nice location, beach access and unit layout. Wondering if the cleaning crew was on vacation as well. Floors were very dirty judging by the stained socks and dirty feet from walking around the unit. Several dishes were stacked in the cupboards with food still stuck on them. Doubt we'll be back.

Overall, this property was perfect for a mid sized group (6-8). Our group had 10 individuals and we’re still able to stay quite comfortably with some rotating sleeping assignments. The location was BEAUTIFUL, right in the beach with an amazing view and a wrap around balcony that offers an incredible opportunity for watching sunrises/sunsets or spending time outside near the comfort of the condo. The few minor issues our group personally had was with the dishwasher and the toilet, these appliances would sometimes leak, but was nothing to major and the property manager was responsive with the requests. The only other thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the floors. For us, it wasn’t an issue as we spent most of the time in the beach or out on the town, but during the trip many of us wore shoes inside to keep our feet/socks from turning black. Again the issues mentioned were minor and the simplicity of check in paired with the pristine location, and comfortable size overpower the small things we noticed and provided us with a perfect place to enjoy PCB to the fullest! Would recommend to those looking to explore this area with a group of friends/family.

The kitchen cabinet doors need to be cleaned better. All the doors around the door knobs where dirty. It didn't concern us terribly as we are not coming to the beach to see spotless condos! It was a great time close to everything we could’ve possibly wanted to do and also to the stores we needed for necessities and such!

The only thing good about this condo is the view. This unit is in need of some major TLC and updates. I would guess nothing has ever been updated since day 1. The second you walk into the kitchen, all the counter tops are faded and worn and look bad. The fridge is missing bins in the doors and ice dispenser only works from time to time. There was an obvious leak in kitchen ceiling and drywall was not fixed proper. There are cockroach traps in pantry cabinet and various other spots in kitchen. The rear sliding door is almost impossible to open and close, an elderly or young person would not be able to use it. There is not any basic cable TV, so you can't watch local news or anything, better bring your own subscriptions. The bedroom furniture is cheap and the beds are squeaky and not very comfortable. We have been to Panama City dozens of times and this unit is among the bottom of the heap we have ever stayed in. For the money you find better. All in all, whoever owns this unit does not care about it and it shows.

Great property and location. But there are a few things that need maintenance, such as the shower doors get stuck, balcony doors are extremely hard to open and beds are not the most comfortable.

The refrigerator had broken glass and was not very clean. The overall condo was nice as far as space, view, location but management needs to do a better job of maintaining. There were two places in the ceiling where it looked like had a previous leak that was not repaired. No comforters on the bunk beds. Pillows were flat. Beds extremely uncomfortable. We also contacted the rental company day 1 about the toilet in the guest bathroom running constantly but no one came out. TVs didn’t work. Very disappointed.

Great condo beachside in PCB with easy access to all the great bars and surroundings PCB has to offer. Very clean and well kept building as well.

The condo was very nice with excellent ocean views! The pictures online need to be updated as the living room furniture is different from pictures but it was comfortable—just no recliner! The management company was great to work with on the few issues we had—the maintenance people were very courteous and professional. We would definitely like to rent it again!

I’ve been staying at Gulf Crest since 2009. I’ve never experienced a unit this filthy there, EVER! People, read the reviews and trust the ones that are not great! Roaches are literally crawling on the inside of the dishwasher, plus ants and some other type of bug we didn’t recognize. Hot water in the hall bath sink doesn’t work at all. Door off it’s track in bathroom. Not to mention completely filthy toilets and bathtubs. Furniture is old, dated and uncomfortable. If you move one pinky toe in bed, it sounds like the entire bed is going to crumble and crash down on the floor. If your hot natured, you can’t adjust the AC below 68 and trust me, 68 is hot in that place during the day. We had to buy bleach because of all the roaches and other bugs in the kitchen. On the counter tops, under the fridge, on the walls, in the stove, in the dishwasher, everywhere!! Felt like they should’ve been paying a rental fee as well! This unit is a huge disappointment. I emailed the rental company 3 times. They responded once saying they would send someone out. NO ONE EVER CAME! And they didn’t respond after the first email. Holes in ceilings, mold in bathrooms, rickety old furniture, faucets that don’t work, toilets that won’t flush… I could go on and on. This unit needs to be gutted before anyone else is suckered into paying to stay there. Seriously, trust the reviews and save yourself some money!!!! Completely disgusting, and we all are very disappointed because we love Gulf Crest.

I had to message the owner multiple times due to no WiFi working. We finally got internet on the 5th day. The kitchen was crawling with roaches. They were in the dishwasher and even in the electrical outlets. The place was fumigated and still we dealt with bugs all week. The ac in the two smaller bedrooms was insufficient as we had to keep the doors open and set a fan at the door to pull the air from the main unit. The master shower was disgusting. I had to scrub the mildew off the doors and scrub the shower that was black instead of white before anyone could use it. We had to sweep and scrub floors because it was so dirty. The floors were not moped by the housekeepers and I know this because they were sweeping out the dirt as we came upstairs and they said they were finished. The entire condo is dated except the couch that they have replaced. There are water marks on the ceiling. The deck was so nasty that our feet stuck to the floor. My mom scrubbed the wall and baseboards under the bar because their was so much food and spilt drinks on there. The shower doors in the smaller bathroom would barely slide and there was no hot water in the sink. And last for the money I paid for a week it seems that there would be more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 dishwasher pods for 8 people. The idea of renting to someone for 4k/week and not giving certain amenities to your customers.

This condo is dated and extremely dirty and run down, such a shame because there is so much potential but the roaches under the refrigerator and in the busted seals of the refrigerator door did me in; worst rental in my 30 years of traveling. The toaster only worked on one side, the bathroom facet hot water was shut off under the sink because the facet wouldn't turn off the water stream, hot water heater worked great though! There is not enough dishes for 10 people to enjoy a cup of coffee, not enough plates, forks, cups, spoons etc, this unit is not equipped for 10 people, we arrived sat 5:30pm to only 4 bath towels and it took 2 days and 3 calls to get more, they dropped only seven more for 10 people for a week; Knowing by then the washer and dryer “at the time” wasn’t working. Thankfully not everyone arrived on Saturday with me. If staying here i hope you don't intend to cook any meals given the minimal cookware appeared to be dollar store pots and skillets that were scratched beyond usability. The windows and patio doors still had hand prints, dirt smudges, filth, and butt prints on them, shame really given the beautiful wrap around porch gave access to every single one of them for ease of cleaning; the porch was amazing and did have enough outdoor furniture for everyone and the view from the 22 floor of the beach and ocean was the only salvation to our entire week. By day 2 we found the dryer was broken, building maintenance fixed next day, but once I reported the roaches on the morning of day 3 that was all the communication i had, went totally silent from that point on, no one wants to discuss that issue. Hope you don't need to pull out the sofa bed, its full of sand and filth, the love seat is also full of sand and food and filth; the cleaning agency on the condo appears to only change out the bedding and blankets, there was nothing else cleaned when we arrived. The beds, OMG, the beds were so loud when you moved it sounded like you were laying on a bags of potato chips, every move you popped the next bag; ever turn or roll over in bed was terrible; they were firm mattresses so i didn't mind that, you just couldn't move once you got in bed. I wished i had paid much more attention to the reviews before i booked the unit; every negative comment was true and so much nicer than they should have been. The only 2 “Pros” this unit gets is the view; and the ac worked great for us, we had to turn it up to keep from freezing at night.

The property was beautiful and the room was very nice. The security guards by the pool on the other hand where horrible! They came over everyday to everyone and asked to show them the pool bracelets, everyone had them on but was still harassed every fifteen minutes. The other guest at the resort was upset about this also. The kids wasn’t allowed to have a float even tho my niece was a new swimmer and scared without it. No drinks allowed by the pool at all, and by drinks I don’t mean alcohol, my 78 year old aunt couldn’t even have her water by the hot tub when she just had her feet in the water. They made the vacation horrible when trying to enjoy the sun by the pool. My advice would be to go to the ocean everyday and skip the pool even tho you pay way to much not to enjoy everything the facility has.

The location and check in process was awesome. The condo was amazing at first but as our stay went on the imperfections started to show. The AC wasn’t cooling the room, the fans have loud squeaks and the bathroom light went out on the first day so people had to shower in the dark. The biggest thing was the little infestation on roaches under the refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay but it was due to the beautiful beach and the hilarity of the issues of the condo.

The unit did need some repairs and the kitchen amenities were scarce for eating in the condo. The master bath did not have a plug for the bathtub and caulking and doors definitely needed upgraded. The automatic door lock quit working during our stay but a key was provided. If you usually stay at Gulf Crest, their chairs have changed and they are not the wooden loungers from years past. Furniture was not arranged as pictures show and is in definite need of replacement. The ceramic tile would most definitely benefit from a steam mop.

Was excited to stay here for work (6 weeks). The view was amazing, but there were many problems. The moment we walked in, we didn’t even walk around for more than 5 minutes, and the bottom of our feet was BLACK. Had to run to the nearest Walmart and buy cleaning supplies. Spent the first two days mopping up the floor. Multiple fixtures in the apartment was broken. The shower door kept coming off the rails every time it was used. It was annoying to fix every time it was used. There was black mold around the shower tubs. Went to wash the sheets of the bottom bed in the kitchen. Lifted up the bottom and there was black mold under there too. I don’t even want to know what could have been under my bed. There was some silverware, but as other reviews said, there was definitely not enough for 10 people. Some plates and cups had cracks or chips. The couch was falling apart and dirty. The place also deviates from the pictures a little. There weren’t any loungers or a recliner. The elevators kept breaking down. For a solid week or two, there was only one functional elevator for the entire building. Also, you are right behind a very loud bar. Even from the farthest side on the 22nd floor, you can hear the music with closed doors. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. If I came back to Panama City, I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful place to stay with the most amazing view ! We've stayed at Gulf Crest twice and would love to return this year as well.

We stay in the same condo building at least twice a year and this was worst experience we've had. There were several broken and unclean items in the room. The mattress in the master bedroom is stained beyond the point where people should be sleeping on it. There was an exploded dead bird on the balcony along with a broken chair and a compete different set up then advertised on the site. The master bedroom had a broken light fixture and someone elses dried up contacts on the floor next to the bed. The guest bathrooms hot water did not work and the shower handle was broken. There were no screen doors to the balonies, just the frame no screen. I tried to contact the property management with no sucess. The 9 am check out was earlier than we are accustomed ecpecially with not being able to check in until 4pm, where we were told there would be a keyless entry, also not true there was a lock box with an actual key. We will not be renting from Emerald Coast in the future.
