Very nice property in an excellent location if you don’t need quick access to downtown Galveston or the Seawall. Even then the trip into the busier parts is not bad. We enjoyed the quieter beach with small children. We did not visit the main beach club, but the amenities seemed nice.
The home is nice and has adequate kitchen supplies. The balconies were the best place to hang out with unobstructed views of the gulf. Would gladly return to this property.

We enjoyed it! Neptune's nest is very nice and well-maintained. The large table in the dining room & on the deck were good gathering places. (Careful, the step down to the deck is a big one!) Plenty of pots & pans. Coat rack at bottom of stairs is very convenient. Loved the view of the Gulf and the super-convenient beach access.
It is quite a ways from town and the Seawall area. We knew that when we booked--it just means planning ahead if you're going out to eat or to any events.

We can't thank Todd enough for accommodating our group so last minute. Our previous rental sustained water damage and we were left scrambling to find an alternative for our large group. Todd was very quick to respond and the house was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. It had all that we needed, and the views were amazing.

Location was spot on. Couldn’t be better. We all enjoyed the stay. The pools were awesome. However, for the price we paid, the furniture needed replacing badly. The 2 chairs in living room smelled and all of furniture you sank in deep. The toaster only worked on one side. The banister is broken from the wall, the one hammock is shredded. I hope the company who rents this talks to the owners. Other than these things. The view is breathtaking. Very nice neighborhood. Be prepared to walk LOTS of stairs.

My family of 6, plus my parents enjoyed our stay at Neptune’s Nest. The house was plenty big for the 8 of us and had a great location. Being so close to the dune walkover helped us feel like we didn’t need to load up our lives just to spend a few hours at the beach. The beach was not crowded and we often had it to ourselves. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, which is rare for me to say, since I work as a private chef. We would definitely stay here again! Just be sure to know that you’ll be walking up lots of steps when moving in/out. 3 bedrooms are up one flight and the 4th bedroom, kitchen, and living space is up a second flight.

We found the house to be very convenient and comfortable. The deck on the top floor is very nice with comfy seating and beach view across the dunes. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. The Beach Club pools were perfect for the kids. I definitely recommend getting the club access. Both pools have fun features and one has a restaurant.
The kitchen is big enough, good refrigerator, lots of dishes. It could use some new skillets, sharper knives, and more dish towels. The water from the frig and ice were very good. No need to buy water. . It would be nice to have shower soap and shampoo provided. Overall I would recommend it for families. I rated it four stars because it’s super nice but not luxurious. The furniture is slightly worn and the pots are in poor shape.one fan is missing the remote and it was set on low so that room was warm. Baby equipment was fine.

Located at the west end, it's quiet. Takes about 30 minutes to the historic district, but moves right along with lots of restaurants in between. We spent lots of hours on the upper porch just watching the ocean. In spite of the extreme heat Texas was having, the breeze most days made it pleasant. The AC did its job and the house was very comfortable. There's lots of room to spread out and everyone having a bathroom was a plus. Be prepared for 2 stories of steps, but the view is worth it. The Property Manager was quick to respond to my inquiries every time. Well stocked kitchen. Could have used a few more towels (2 a day showers in the heat when we ventured out to the beach), but with a washer/dryer in the unit that took care of the issue. New refrigerator and microwave. Double ice maker so lots of ice for drinks. The Lazy River pool was so refreshingly, only 7 minutes away.

Fun at the beach
We’ve stayed at multiple locations in Galveston but this was the best for us because of the beach adjacent to the property that does not allow vehicles. One less thing to worry about when watching littles on the beach.
The accommodations were great for the three families staying there. Comes equipped with a high chair and gates for the stairs!

Nice quiet stay
Neptune Nest was exactly what we were seeking. Only downfall was amount of miles to find a restaurant to eat. App. 22 miles back to Galveston proper. Otherwise, great place with excellent beach access.

Great location
This property was perfect for our two families. As advertised. Location so close to the beach was amazing. Comfortable furniture. Storage closet stocked with plenty of beach items to use. Kitchen well stocked with all we needed. Not a luxuriously appointed property but certainly not bad. We had 4 kids ages 6 - 12 and 4 adults. I would rent here again for sure.

Nice House - Great Location
The home was very nice and well apportioned for the 8 adults on our trip. The views of the dunes, beach, and Gulf were great. The convenience of the dune crossover was much appreciated. Though we did not use the any of the Beach Club facilities, they looked amazing. We plan to make another trip in the Summer of 2022 and intend to book this house again if it is available.

5 star stay!
Neptune’s Nest has a perfect location on a clean, quiet stretch of beach. The house has all of the comforts of home- spices for cooking, baby gates, high chair, pack & play, sand toys and games in great shape, and a beach cart to haul your items to/from the sand. We liked the outdoor shower, multiple balconies, and seating options for our multi-generational family. The neighborhood is clean, newer, and quiet. We did not spend much time using the neighborhood amenities, but they were clean and in good shape. We hope to return! Thanks Todd & family for your hospitality!

Fabulous stay. House is awesome. Great location and view! Our second time staying here. Communication with homeowner was exceptional. Hurricane Ida came through the Monday before our rental on Thursday knocking out the electricity. Todd kept me

Beautiful property, steps from beach
The property is beautiful and steps from beach. The beach was clean, and the water was perfect. The kids caught and released so many crabs, we lost count! The beds were super comfy. We had a blast and plan to return. We had an issue and Todd was quick to respond and make things right. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Location is good .property has everything you need but cleanless was a concern.floors were not cleaned properly.kids socks turned blackish in few minutes when we reached.ice maker was a proem.however the property manager was very resposive.

Late February family gathering
Our group of 8 adults stayed at Neptune’s Nest the last weekend of February and were so impressed with the communication we had with Todd, the property manager. Our visit was only 10 days after the Texas freeze and everything in the house was working & available for our use. We loved the easy access to the beach and enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck. The house was very clean and well stocked for cooking a few meals. Dinner at Waterman’s Restaurant was delicious & a short drive from the house. We hope to return soon!

Sunny Christmas
Everyone enjoyed our time here. Weather was unpleasant when we checked in but it turned out to be beautiful the next day till we checked out. We watched the majestic sunrise from the balcony, every morning with a perfect cup of coffee on hand. The property is equipped with almost everything especially in the kitchen- although I didn’t see an electric mixer, there’s a food processor to use. I couldn’t ask for anything better. This property is excellent for the whole family. We might rent this again in he summer!

Great Beach get away!
Right on the beach, next to the walk over. Fantastic beach and bay views. Kitchen had plenty of space for meal preparation. We loved spending time on the balconies. Plenty of indoor & out door seating for our party of 10 adults. The hammocks were a treat to nap on. Owner provided beach chairs which was a plus.

Great family vacation
Our family group consists of three generations of beach lovers. The house was perfect for our needs and the location was amazing. Immediately next to the crossover is perfect. Having two large decks means everyone could enjoy the view and relax. Todd is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

Everything was PERFECT for our stay. There was a provided highchair and pack-n- play which made our lives so easy. The property was EXACTLY as described and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
