Not as advertised. No swim up bar. No restaurant. No hot tub. Only two pools functional. Kitchenette had nothing to cook with so it was useless getting the upgrade. Locked out of room for 1.5 hrs had to sleep on ground in hallway. Bed broke/exploded second day and I smashed my head off wall. Pull out was total junk bent up no padding, holes in pillows. Water not safe to drink or brush teeth with. That’s not mentioned in add. Gym not private, very busy, rented out to locals. Hard to get on equipment. Closed at 7 pm. The staff was friendly, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Do not recommend. There’s way better options for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Baymen/Best Western on San Pedro.
My flight arrived late and a staff member stayed late to greet me a take me to my room. The room was clean and kitchen stocked. AC in both the living and bedroom. Pool was nice and clean.
Drifters, the restaurant and bar at the pool was excellent. The food at Drifters was absolutely delicious. Even if you don’t stay at this hotel/condominium, go try the food and drinks at Drifters.

Very clean and enjoyable stay. It took a day to get used to the airport nearby. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. Restaurant and bar was great and friendly. Pool was very nice

The friendly people at this VRBO Best Western Grand Baymen were incredible. They were helpful, kind, and very accommodating. The pool area is a beautiful area with a wonderful restaurant located just steps away. The family that runs the restaurant/bar area have a wonderful menu with amaxing food. If it’s not on the menu, ask, and they can possibly whip it up for you.
A great place to meet new friends or to hang with family. I definitely recommend this VRBO.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was always helpfull. We only had cleans staff in once a week as we spent most of our time outside of the condo. Belize people are hard working, happy and polite. We felt safe day or night walking anywhere around San Pedro. Snorkling was great and did a trip for a day to Kaye Caulker, also great. Rented bikes and felt safe peddling around. The taxi's and golfcarts just go around cyclists with no anomosity, it was great. Everyone just shares the roads.

Relaxing in Belize

Continue working to make the place more ready for guests. Check the contents of all the apartments and upgrade if necessary. You are on the right track

Clean, spacious, and friendly staff.
Roomy and clean. All appliances, including TV and AC worked well. Daily housekeeping is included, which was nice. Most impressive was the friendly staff/host who even arranged our early morning taxi the day of our departure. Only minor complaint is that the property is directly adjacent to the island's airport. During the daytime, we could hear the plans take-off, but this certainly didn't wake us up at night and we didn't notice after the first day.
