The property and house were exactly as advertised. The home was clean, plenty large enough for our group of 12, and well stocked with items that made our stay even more enjoyable. The view from the second floor of the coast was incredible. We definitely would stay there again and would recommend staying there to others.

We had a lovely time. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds relatively comfy. The beach was incredible. The children loved the dunes. The karaoke machine was the biggest hit! Definitely an enjoyable stay!

we had a little trouble at check-in but then everything was great we were a party of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. There was so much room. beds were good and the house was clean on arrival. kitchen has a great stock of utensils. We packed sand in no matter what we did as we made many trips to the beach to collect shells and rocks and to enjoy the great beach just yards away.

We stayed here overnight as a family of 12 and the place accommodated all of us without feeling overcrowded. Location right on the beach was beautiful. Only thing missing was the essential - no shampoo or cooking oil was available.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. They have endless amenities with sand toys, kites, clam hubs, crab rings, a crib, a room full of toys, everything you could need in a kitchen and so much more!!

Roomy home right on the beach. Walk out onto main floor deck and then step onto the sandy beach. Well-equipped house and great view from upstairs living room. Close to Waldport for shopping/dining.

Even better than the pics! We'll stocked. Lots of space for big family meals, great play space for the kids, and plenty of seating with big couch space both up & downstairs. Kids loved playing & adventuring in the sand & dune right off the back deck. Tons of windows for beautiful views of both the bay & the ocean.

Lovely time with family as we relax at the sandy shores. We enjoyed the spacious home and found that we each had a place to read or relax. Some of the beds felt worn but overall it was about the location and we felt our vacation was complete.

With some upkeep and repairs this could be a great place for a family.

You can’t get much closer to the beach. Our grandson loved having sand right outside the back door! We had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the house and the beach. Always windy on the Oregon Coast!

Lots of room to spread out! Upstairs room with lots of couches & a TV/Downstairs has a large kitchen ~dining room w/big island for socializing. Walk out the back door to the ocean. Steep driveway with parking for 3-4 vehicles. Thank you

Overall the house accommodated our needs. The bunk room did not have the number of bunks as the listing says, so we had people sleeping on the floor. There are only 2 bunks(sleeps 4). But the upstairs had a good amount of room for all who had to sleep on floor. Downstairs master bed mattress leaves a lot to be desired, VERY squeeky, sheets don't fit properly. And you can't really see the ocean from the downstairs living area, or the deck due to the berm, just know before you go. We still had great deck time and great meals! Double oven came in handy.

The house was good size and well accommodating for what was needed in the kitchen, etc. The books and toys were a nice bonus for the kids. The kids room was very well set up and stocked. As a mom, I love that there was a crib and high chair, even though my kids have outgrown those things. People with mobility issues thinking of getting this house because it is right on the beach, please find somewhere else. The beach IS right out the back door... after crossing 100 yards of loose sand dune hills. We re-reviewed the the listing when we got there to see if this was a huge oversight on out part and the pictures definitely don't show the distance or how hilly it is. We didn't see anything in the description about it either. Anyone with ankle, knee, hip, or back problems will have trouble making it to the beach. We were a little surprised at the state of the house: there were missing window handles that were just spiky metal nubs; the blinds in the master bedroom had to be tied up because they didn't have the internal strings in them to raise them; when we swept up the kitchen and dinning are for sand, there was a lot of dog hair that came up with it; upstairs on the carpet there were full size chips still on the floor from the last guests; the big couch upstairs had a large tear in the cushion; the upstairs TV had no remote or volume control; there were definitely not enough towels washcloths on hand. Each of these things alone is annoying but all piled together felt like a lot. When we got to the house, someone was there vacuuming the back of the fridge. She let us know that it hadn't been holding temperature so if we had problems to let them know. It definitely wasn't the coldest fridge ever but nothing spoiled. And the next day the owner called to let us know a garage repairman would need to be let in between 12-2 on the following day. The owner did offer to be there himself, or if we could have someone there that was fine. The repairman was quick, but also didn't tell us he was leaving. The stay was not horrible. The house was fine. The trudge to the beach was too much for some of our party. I would not book again based on that.

The house fit our family of 9 very well. With that many baths, we didn't run out of hot water! The open concept between kitchen, dining & living rooms was perfect. And the upstairs family room is roomy with very comfortable sofas. All in all, we thought the house was lovely. If only there wasn't so much sand to clean up!! lol

The house was great. We loved being close to the ocean but really didn't care for the dunes as it obstructed the view of the ocean from the ground floor. We also love leaving windows open to catch the breezes, listen to the sounds and help cool off the house when the weather is warm, this was not possible because of the amount of sand around the house.

Very Large home with plenty space. Kitchen has all you need to prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable. House is in the sand dunes so on windy days you are battling the sand. Overall great house.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house! It was the perfect size for our group of extended family. The kids loved playing in the sand and the ocean, and even rediscovered their love for Thomas the train while staying in the kids room. Nice beginner boogie boarding beach for anyone looking for that. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate. Keeping the sand at bay was a challenge, but not impossible and well worth the location. I'll also mention that the owners are very kind and accommodating!

We had great time, great location, unfortunately lots of sand and wind, so much sand at front door we entered through the garage most of the time. Nice home, great views.

The property is as advertised. The house sits right on the dunes which are beautiful. The beach is also one of the nicest on the Oregon Coast. The house is comfortable and clean except for drifting sand everywhere. The owners were easy to reach. Don't arrive in any form of RV. They are not allowed in the Bayshore Development. Highly recommended.

This house needs a lot of attention. Way overpriced. No wifi, Filthy furniture downstairs, the deck has many pieces of wood popped up, hose outside didn't work, toaster worked on one side, shower door in mudroom falls down when opened, a charge for community pool that isn't mentioned, windows don't open, wet towels in washer. Lincoln City has much better beach front homes for $1000.00 less.

I have super mixed feelings about this house. First the pros, obviously location is amazing being right on the beach, especially with small children. The house has lots of great space in the kitchen/dinning area, upstairs recreation area and the large children's room with train table and lots of toys. Kitchen is somewhat well stocked, but no foil, ziplock bags, no lids for Tupperware, not enough paper towels, etc. Also, be aware that the house is set up to sleep 12 people upstairs(4 adults each in two bedrooms, and 4 kids in bunks), sharing one bathroom. Two adults stay downstairs, plus a crib, with their own bathroom. Just make sure your group is good getting cozy. Our biggest con was arriving at the house to dirty bunk bed bedding, a full dishwasher needing to be unloaded and wet towels in the dryer. I understand with back to back bookings, there will be some overlap, but with the cost per night and all additional fees, I don't expect to be laundering beds, unloading dishes and folding towels the second I walk in the door. Not to mention unwashed beds is disgusting even if Covid didn't exist and of course we didn't discover they were dirty until we were trying to get kids into bed for the night. Other cons included some of the repairs that need to be done on this house: raised and jagged deck boards, broken plastic Adirondack chairs on deck, several windows that do not open as well as broken blinds that don't open, their small/dirty charcoal grill that is falling apart with the legs that detach when you try to move it, dirty/unsanitized toys, bunk beds are very rickety and hardware needs tightened, towel bar in master bath coming out of the wall, the downstairs couches/chairs/pillows are filthy and stink, etc. I think we often overlook lots of little things in favor of having a house right on the beach, just wanted people to be aware that there are a lot of little things that come along with this house. Also, if you plan to use the grill, make sure to bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid, foil and lighter. Don't pick it up without supporting the legs or they will fall off. We called Kevin, one of the hosts of this property, immediately regarding the unclean bedding and a few other issues, and he couldn't have cared less. I spent way more of my vacation than I would have liked, communicating back and forth via messages with hosts that are apparently in Europe so communication was not great due to time differences, no solution yet.
