Family visit to SML for my grand daughter’s wedding. Our stay at Autumn Cove was perfect ! Close to the venues at Parkway Marina and Belle Gardens. We enjoyed the spectacular views of the lake from the huge back deck. Loved watching the deer ! Close to Bridgewater Marina , restaurants and grocery store. Owner responsive and check in easy . Would love to rent again for a longer stay!

The house is in a great spot on the lake. Quick boat ride to Bridgewater or Drifters. It was extremely clean and comfortable and communication was excellent throughout. We loved all the deer in the yard and the view from the deck was unbeatable. We’ll definitely look at this property first next time we head down!

We've vacationed at SML for about 15 years, but this was the first time renting this house. We loved it! Great location by land and by water. House was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed except sheets and towels, which we rented as per usual. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was very convenient. The deck is nice and spacious while the lot is not too steep down to the water. We also rented the house next door where our daughter and grandkids stayed. The kids LOVED swimming from their dock to ours and back again. The house has plenty of board games, too, which the kids loved. Everyone had a great time! Would definitely rent again.

There was great view of the lake with not to steep of walk to the dock. The accommodated 5 fishermen well.

We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful lake views every morning. The boat dock was convenient for lounging and for docking our jet ski. Overall, it was a great stay!

We stayed here with another couple while visiting our children at Ferrum college for the weekend. The property was very clean and well maintained everything was just as listed. Kirk was very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had. Price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! We both needed some decompressing time away and this home was perfect! We didn’t want to leave our view. Kirk is so helpful and easy to contact and help with any and all questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing area great location very spacious and cleanliness and felt like home away from home the scenery was excellent quiet and everything we need to enjoy and handy to use we are so thankful and happy that we chose to stay in Moneta Va

Location is ideal, close to shops and restaurants by boat or by car. Nice easy walk to the lake from the house, great dock. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The house was well stocked and the host was great at telling us everything we needed to know ahead of our stay. This was the best lake house we have stayed at yet and look forward to go back next summer!

Everything was excellent. The house is beautiful and served our needs fully. It is very comfortable and is laid out so that each couple has their own living space and restroom and shower. I truly enjoyed our trip and the Autum Cove house made a great trip even better. I thank you for having it available for us to rent.

It was a nice family oriented place that was a great place to go and relax with family and friends and spend quality time together. Only thing we could of wished for that was better was better weather other then that we loved it and 100% will be returning at some point!

The location of this rental is prime! It’s just minutes from the marina by boat or car, minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The house was perfect, it was spacious, right on the water, and well stocked with all the cleaning and kitchen stuff we needed. The hosts were great, with a lot of good communication. We will definitely stay here again!

My self and three friend came to SML for a bass tournament. The house is setup amazing for people traveling with boats! We were able to park three trucks and boats in the driveway with ease and had room for more!! The house was exactly as advertised and the view from the kitchen/living room of SML was amazing. Highly recommended!

Booked trip with 2 other friends for fishing trip. House was plenty big, clean, and everything worked properly. Communication with the owner was good. Location on lake is great along with lake views. Food Lion and good pizza/sub place within 5 min drive. Overall would rent again in the future.

We had a great stay at autumn cove. The house was as described and perfect for our needs for a fishing trip. Private covered dock is a very short walk from house. Outside decks were great for relaxing and awesome views of lake. House is very roomy with two levels. Roads to property and driveway were good and no problems for a boat trailer. Public boat ramp close by. We plan to return in the future and are thankful we found this rental.

This lake house was fantastic with a great location and view of the lake. The property owner was easy to work with and provided all necessary information for a great stay. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future.

Loved it! Very nice area. House was nice and clean. The view of the lake an leaves turning were beautiful. Even saw deer grazing/ laying in the yard next door! Owner responded quickly with any questions I had. Great experience. If planning another trip to the area would stay here again. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time. It was a nice fall weekend and the weather was great for sitting outside enjoying the views. If the weather were less ideal we still would have enjoyed our stay. The photos don’t do this place justice. The kitchen is great and the home is quite spacious. Would definitely consider coming back with a bigger group and kids!

Very nice house on SML with own dock. House is located conveniently close to stores and other accessories and by water is right near Hales Ford Bridge. The electric on the dock was a bonus as well as the wood burning fireplace in the family room!!

We had a wonderful stay on Smith Mountain Lake. The house is very well suited and comfortable for a stay on the lake. We loved the location of the home (what a view) and the convivence to town. This will definitely be our go to house when heading to the lake to stay.

We rented this house for an extended labor day weekend trip. The owner was very helpful during the reservation process and answered all my questions. The views were amazing and the location was excellent; very close to the public boat ramp, grocery shopping, resteraunts, and activities. There were two adults and three young children in our group and the house had more than enough space for us.

Overall nice property and we enjoyed the stay. Only thing I can say bad is the boatlift was not working and the two large beds are very noisy.

Great house with amazing lake views and access. We loved swimming in the lake and watching the deer and geese. Tons of sitting room room inside and out. Kitchen had all we needed and just a short drive to stores and marina. THANK YOU!

The online pictures do not do this place justice. It’s beautifully updated and has an amazing view of the lake. Close to boat rentals, grocery stores, and restaurants! We had the perfect weekend filled with fun and relaxation!

There were three of us and each having their own bed and bath was really nice. Having our own boat dock was perfect for us to come and go any time of the day.

We really enjoyed our week at Autumn Cove. The house was clean and in a very good location. The house is
a little dated (kitchens and bathrooms) but it had everything we needed and the price point was both very fair and well within our budget. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the daily visits from the herd of deer. The two fawns were just too cute.

Spent a week for a summer vacation. We were with our 2 teenage boys and their grandparents. It was so nice for everyone to have their own space and bathroom. The lounge areas were very comfortable and relaxing. Plenty of space inside and out with many areas to sit and enjoy the water. Easy walk down access to the dock. We were able to tie 2 boats for the week and still have room to swim and kayak around the cove. There was a family of deer that would enjoy the back yard every evening. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful.
House is close to everything you need for the week. Grocery store, restaurants (driving or from the water), mini golf, boat rentals, boat launch, state park, beach, and winery. There are puzzles, air hockey table, and Netflix if spending time inside. The host, Kirk, is very easy to work with and responsive.
I grew up in this areas and spent most every weekend on the lake. This trip was my first time back in 29 years. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and loved getting to share my memories with my boys. They fell in love with Smith Mountain lake as well!
