I believe others have stated this as well, but the home and the view are even more amazing in person than pictures can express! I fell in love with the view the moment we walked in the door. I took 100s of pictures of it because I could not get enough and I never want to forget it! The home truly feels like a home away from home. Absolutely everything you need is there! The 2 master suites is ideal for a family. We stayed in the suite off the kitchen and everyone else was on the other end of the house. The outdoor living areas are a dream come true! The pool and spa are spacious and inviting. The covered bbq area was truly a great place to hang out. My wife and I stayed here for 9 days and didn’t want to leave! It was absolutely heaven. The only thing wrong about this place is it will ruin any other place we stay, forever! Had everything anyone could want. The place is enormous. The outside area was so relaxing. Pergola area was set up perfectly for grilling and chilling. The mountains were an incredible sight at sunset. It was a pleasantly quiet neighborhood. Maybe saw one or two people the entire time we were there. Mark was the greatest. His communication with us was immediate. Thanks for the perfect place to stay. We hated to leave!

The kitchen is well stocked to cook for a large group. The location is great, and the owner goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay.

This was by far the best VRBO I have ever rented. The property, amenities, views, etc. were even better than anticipated. The huge bonus was that the house is filled with the best, high end of everything! Towels, dishes, furniture, all fantastic. Also working with the owners was a wonderful experience. We came to situate our 17 year old at the U of A dorms. The location was great and we had a great stay.

My family of six completely enjoyed our stay. We were worried about it being too hot and raining too much. It did rain for a short period each day, but nothing that derailed any of our plans. The rain was a definite plus because it really cooled things off. Some nights it was so chilly we got to enjoy the hot tub. The house had everything we could possibly need and much more. I know it’s a great find when I’m taking notes of things I love and want to buy for my own home. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked, and everything was very clean. If I have one suggestion, it would be blinds for the windows in both master bathrooms/showers for some privacy. Not really a complaint, just a suggestion. The location was perfect. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby to choose from, as well as many parks and trails. We hiked three trails, and they were all 5-10 minutes from the house. We were up at five to beat the heat, and back home by eight to relax and nap at the pool all afternoon. The large pool and the pool fire feature, landscaping, breathtaking views, and outdoor dining area makes it feel like a resort.… but better because you have privacy and your own space to relax with your family after a long day exploring. We spent two weeks here in June. It is the best appointed house that we have ever stayed in - a real home from home! The kitchen was equipped to a very high standard with plenty of glasses, crockery, cutlery and cook / bakeware. We cooked most meals in the outside barbecue and dining area which had superb views of Oro Valley especially at sunset. The pool area was clean and spacious with plenty of room to relax. The bedrooms are also well appointed. Mark and Melissa are excellent and attentive hosts, they recommended places to visit and eat in the locality. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked two weeks again next year!

We had a great time at this property. The views of the mountains are astonishing. The house was clean, very well-stocked (more towels and kitchen items than you will need), and in a quiet location close to amenities. Mark meet us at the property to show us how everything worked: from the automatic drawer microwave to the tablet used to control the spa jets and lights. It was a great week and we would highly recommend this property.

The property was beautiful, private, with every amenity we could want. From the sparkling pool to the chef's kitchen, this property was outstanding. The owner, Mark, was gracious, welcoming, and responsive to even the smallest request. The outdoor space, including grill, gas fireplace and big screen TV, was my favorite place to hang out with a good book. Highly recommend this property!

I doubt I can say any more than what has already been said but here goes… Home was exactly as pictured …spotless, well stocked (which is an understatement), comfy beds, awesome shower, amazing outdoor seating area and incredible back yard pool and spa. Mark's home had everything you can ask for in a vacation home plus more. Mark have great communication and was very welcoming; he met with us during check-in and showed us around the house. The vacation house was very clean and had nice personal touches throughout the home. There was also a well-appointed kitchen with all the spices, gadgets, you would need to make whatever meal you could desire. The outside living space accompanied with the gorgeous mountain views was one of the highlights of our trip. The pool and spa were well kept and there were plenty of linens and towels to use for our stay, we could want for nothing. Thank you Mark for a remarkable and rememberable family vacation and looking forward to seeing you and staying in the future.

The pictures did not do this house justice. Everything was perfectly cleaned and completely renovated. If ever in Arizona again, this will be my first choice. We absolutely loved this house.

I have so many great things to say! We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was by far my favorite one! We chose this house because of the size and the location and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The communication back-and-forth with the owner Mark was great. He was always very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The pictures of the mountain views posted on the listing do not do it justice. Same with the gourmet kitchen in this house and the outside entertainment space. This house is so well stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay and had a lot more than you would normally find in a VRBO rental. The kitchen is outfitted with very beautiful high end appliances, lots of great cookware, bakeware, dishes and the most gorgeous island! It would be especially great for a long term rental. We ate out for most of our meals but we felt very comfortable here and didn’t miss too many things from home!! We love that there was a separate bar area that we could stock with all of our favorite beverages. The beds were all very comfortable, with nice bedding and great pillows!! Very good quality and quantity of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and beach towels. There were two coffee makers and we actually used both because I prefer Kcups and my family prefer to brew full pots! My favorite part was enjoying my coffee in the early morning outside looking at the mountains under the covered patio and then spending late afternoons in the beautiful pool! So relaxing for all of us. We were there 10 days August/September so the pool water temperature was perfect!! I absolutely love this area as there are so many things close by and Tucson is a relatively short drive, so we were there a lot, as well. And you are surrounded by beautiful mountains. The views are absolutely amazing! We thank you Mark and Melissa for allowing us to stay in your beautiful rental house and look forward to returning someday! I greatly appreciate all of the additional touches that you put into your house and how well maintained it is. It’s clean, well decorated and fully stocked! I was sad to be leaving. Close to supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, shoppings, etc no traffic noise, wonderful gourmet kitchen, beds, and amazing entertainment and beautiful views from the pool and hot tub. If you are planning a trip to Tucson/Oro Valley, this is THE place. It has absolutely everything and then some. Just bring your clothes and do some grocery shopping if you are so inclined. The kitchen has everything you could want or need. Once you get here, you won't want to leave. The owner, Mark, is easy to reach and couldn't be more accommodating.

Our group was 6 (5 adults and a child) and we had plenty of space and with the large outdoor spaces, plenty of privacy if desired.The view of the mountains is spectacular and the back of the house faces to the east so you get to watch the sun rise over the mountains.The outdoor space is where we ate most of our dinners which we prepared in the gourmet kitchen.The hot tub was great and was really easy to use.I'm sure the pool will be great when the weather gets a bit warmer but was too chilly during our stay.We would definitely come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Monte Del Oro. My husband, son and I rent a place every year with my parents and this one has been the best so far. The home is beautifully updated with open great room and two separate master suites on opposite ends of the house. Located close to hiking, biking, eating, and the El Conquistador golf and recreation center that we ended up using every day. The home is the most well stocked we've encountered with high quality cookware, appliances, furniture, electronics, etc. The outdoor space was amazing with the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, dining and tv. We enjoyed it all!! Mark and Melissa are nearby if there was anything we needed help with. They were both very welcoming and easy to reach via text. Mark provided a very helpful walk through when we first arrived. Highly recommend, wish we had stayed a little longer!!

Rented from Mark and Melissa for six weeks and had everything you could ever want or need in a home. It is well-appointed, comfortable and clean. The outdoor space is as inviting as the rest of the home, with a large entertainment space with comfortable furniture, linear fireplace and 65” smart tv! Would definitely rent again if available.
