Questo è l'unico resort condominio in Poipu su una spiaggia di sabbia! Altri condomini a Poipu sono una lunga passeggiata o andare in spiaggia. Si tratta di un resort a servizio completo, non solo un complesso condominiale. Bellissimo e spazioso condominio con vista sul giardino reale a 2 piani con open space, cucina ristrutturata e arredi più recenti. Tutto ciò che serve è incluso in questo condominio - lenzuola, biancheria da letto, cucina completamente attrezzata, tavole da boogie, frigorifero, giocattoli da spiaggia, sedie / asciugamani. E a differenza di altri condomini, il Kiahuna offre servizi completi tra cui resort di accoglienza, aperta 24 ore al giorno, la sicurezza, la manutenzione, pulizia, piscina, scivolo, jacuzzi, palestra, yoga / corsi di ginnastica, tennis, basket e campi da pickleball, campo da golf, barbecue. We loved Kim Condo. A lot of listings harp on about having AC. It’s really not important. We didn’t need it, it cooled down sufficiently every evening and the ceiling fans worked just great. Location is superb with walkable access to a
Plethora of restaurants in less than 5 minutes. Beautiful beach and the grounds were a pleasure to walk through. I believe there are bbqs but no idea where. The living room is an excellent size and general accommodation is clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

The unit was decorated well and clean. We knew going into the trip that there is no air conditioning. Reviews said that it cooled down nicely in the evening, so we went ahead and booked it. Sleeping was quite difficult as it didn't cool down in the unit until 2 am or so. There were plenty of fans provided, but we are accustomed to sleeping in cooler temperatures. Expected more of a breeze to move through the unit.
Quick access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and pool/fitness club. We saw turtles every day on the beach nearby and a couple of Hawaiian Monk Seals!
It was a wonderful first trip to beautiful Kauai!

It was adequate but many small issues made our stay frustrating. Not having an AC made it hot and humid even with open windows and a fan. Master suite was nicely done however, the towel bar kept falling off the wall. Other bedroom is a dark pit. Wall paper is beginning to peel off the wall, linens were old, thin and shredded. Looked like an old hospital blanket. Closet filled with box of old port a crib parts. Twin bed frame felt unstable and rocked side to side whenever I turned over. There is a hot switch in that room and until it was discovered we couldn’t get any fans or lights to turn on. There is no overhead light and it is like a dark, hot cave in there. Not comfortable! It felt old and cheap. Sofa bed upstairs is old and broken, the left side mattress support is completely ripped through, so the mattress sags to the floor. Dining chairs don’t have a pad under the legs so when you try to scoot the chairs there’s a very loud scraping noise on the tile. We stayed for 9 days, we were given only one dish towel & cloth. Housekeeping only came once on day 7. Things were getting pretty nasty by that point. Hallway shower drain cover is not secured in place and slides off the drain when you stand in the shower creating a huge hole. Kept having to replace the drain cover so my kids didn’t get hurt. Many of the beach supplies are old and in disrepair. Trunk on porch is filled with beach chairs with ripped covers, broken umbrellas, etc.

We had a great stay at Kim’s property. Everything listed was accurate, clean, easy communication & went smoothly. No AC but she has plenty of fans that help. The boogie boards and sand toys were great to have. We rented snorkel gear from the beach hut and had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beginning of June. While in Koloa, we tried 3 different beaches and walked by a 4th. This was our favorite for playing in the sand and our kids playing in the waves. The bottom is mostly sandy with some scattered smaller rocks. This makes for a very easy entry for snorkeling, without the crowds of Poipu beach. Other beaches had a wider variety of fish and calmer water, but with much more difficult and rocky entries, resulting in scraped legs. Bonus: no urchins here! The beach hut was awesome to have so that we could pick up clean beach towels and not have to wash/ reuse them daily. Staying right across from a small shopping center was nice as well as being such a short drive from the larger Kukui'ula shopping center. We went to both places several times. The condo has all the cookware you could need, even a small rice cooker! I was very surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. One thing to note is that there is a lot of noise from groundskeepers during the day, doing leafblowing and other maintenance. Since we didn't have a napping baby, it wasn't a problem. The landscaping is beautiful! The roosters will wake you up at 4am, but you'll be on mainland US time, so that's not too much of a problem, either. Our contact with the property manager was frequent beforehand and VERY clear. I couldn't have asked for better. We visited the Poipu Beach Club twice and the kids enjoyed the pool, waterslide, and hot tub.

Close to the beach!
We had a great stay! The condo was stocked with body boards, chairs, and umbrellas. The kids had a blast playing in the water. Only a short walk from our condo to the best beach on Kauai.

The unit is nice and what you see in the photos. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the king size mattress is pretty bouncy and uncomfortable. I emailed the owner and she's going to replace it. If it was replaced I would totally go back to this unit. Everything else was great.

We loved the condominium with its short walk to the ocean. The garden is beautiful with birds and lush, tropical plants everywhere. The home is wonderfully furnished and is great for hosting friends with the open floor plan. We will go back for sure!

I do not go to Hawaii for the lodging. I go for the beauty of Kauai, 100%. The location of our unit was in such close proximity to probably my favorite beach on the island, which is particularly beneficial as we have young children. My major complain in the unit was with the beds. The were so extremely uncomfortable that I neither my wife nor I could get a good nights rest, and my back is still hurting. We even switched to sleeping in the room with the two twin beds, my wife and I sleeping separately, to see if we could sleep better, but the beds were just as terrible in quality. For the price we paid, I don’t think it was worth it. Additionally, the laundry was so far that doing laundry was a real inconvenience. The property and grounds were VERY well maintained and we LOVED the fitness center with the outdoor pool, although it was not directly on the property, so we did drive there as we had our 3 kids and their pool things with us.

Great location!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo! We walked to the gorgeous beach in just a few minutes and could easily walk to shops and restaurants close by. The condo is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. Kim was quick to reply and very helpful. It was a great trip!

Everything was easy
We loved the room set up in this unit. Nice larger private rooms and bathrooms. Super clean and super convenient to everything in Poipu. Owner was very responsive to questions prior to our stay.
The unit was louder than I would have expected. Probably due to several restaurants across the way. However things usually quieted down by 11:00. The other bummer was the lack of spices for cooking. I understand it’s a policy of the management company but something that many private VRBOs include and that those who like to cook will miss.

Condo was in excellent shape. Great location for beach or pool. Nicely decorated and kitchen well equipped.
One small quibble, there were no useable beach things. I know that this changes depending upon who stayed previously but thought I'd mention it.
