My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a great location. You can walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. If we had any questions, the owner was quick to respond.

The condo is beautiful as pictured and the pool in the complex is gorgeous and well-maintained. While it is 2 blocks to the beach, one of the crossings is the 4 lane wide plus LBI boulevard which is a main drag. Since we booked, our circumstances have changed which I’ll admit factors into this review. At the time of booking my husband and I were awaiting an adoption and since have been placed with a beautiful 5 month old boy. I believe this listing should feature more prominently that this is a 3rd floor walk up. I also had my father-in-law in the party who has Parkinson’s. He can walk but stairs are difficult. Finally since the vestibule was painted we had to use a side entrance which basically equated to a fire escape to load our gear in and out- a challenge as you can imagine with an infant. Final thoughts: Pros: Overall good location Beautiful condo unit/ well maintained Centrally located on the island Well maintained (albeit not heated) pool Responsive host Kind management at the property Cons: Using a fire escape to being our equipment/ baggage up to the 3rd floor Crossing LBI boulevard to get to the beach The listing does not clearly state this is a 3rd floor walk up- only reviews do. This should be remedied.

The property was clean and very comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner sent check-in/general property information a few weeks before our stay, which was helpful. The building is secure and located close to beach access and several restaurants/activities. The condo itself is roomy and comfortable with very little noise from the other units. The balcony overlooks the pool and faces the bay for nice sunsets. The closet for beach items was useful. Would stay again!

Easy breezy stay, nice accommodations and great location.

Andrea’s place was great. Location perfect. Clean condo and had everything we needed. Pool maintenance is impeccable, but it became annoying that the gentleman maintained it during open hours and continually each day. He huffed and puffed when my 18 year old would dip in (and say it makes it that much harder). He was literally out there each hour of every day and even closed it to scrub the walls in the middle of the afternoon. Gave us the feeling he didn’t like sharing with renters. Besides that, this was the perfect beach vacation for my family. We rented in this complex before (11 years ago) and we were happy to see another condo being rented. It’s all about location and price for us. This was 5 stars for those two things.

First, the pictures of the condo really do not do it justice. This place is lovely and very well maintained. We enjoyed the proximity to dining and shopping. It was just a short walk to the ocean or the bay. It’s a quiet street with little traffic which is ideal for walking or biking. The pool is crystal clear and well maintained. The water was cold as it is early in the season but looked delightful just the same. The balcony is the perfect size for enjoying a drink and people watching. The property is beautifully landscaped and also well maintained. The only down side, which we knew of in advance as it’s in the listing, is that it’s a third floor walk up - no elevator. Enjoy some of the best seafood, ice cream, and fresh bagels just steps from the condo. Thank you for a wonderful week!

A week at CastleHarbour with my sister-in-law was an awesome get-away. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated, with newer/ exceptional kitchen pots, pans, & appliances. The neighbors were most welcoming and helpful! We also enjoyed having the heated in-ground pool when the West winds prohibited some beach days. Next time we will plan an earlier week as the pool was closed mid-week for the Season. I didn’t realize how out of shape I had become (the condo is a third-floor walk up) & I would have totally welcomed an elevator(especially moving in/out)(maybe an incentive to continue working out). This condo, in this location, is a gem! Thank you so much for providing a good spot.

We had a lovely stay at Castle Harbor. Beautiful pool and roomy condo. Walking distance to several restaurants. Beautiful beach.

We had a hard time finding the key in the weeds by the pool & called three people before we got assistance from Vince & a guy named Bob who was an owner. Pool was great, third floor was wicked.

We had a fantastic week in Ship Bottom, and the condo was the perfect size and layout for our family. The location put us within a short walk to the beach, bay, ice cream, restaurants, yoga, and mini golf. What else do you need on a vacation? Everyone staying in the building was friendly and helpful, and Andrea was also very responsive. Note that it is a 3rd floor walk up (we never looked for an elevator), which we didn’t mind, but would be a consideration for anyone with mobility issues.

Our family of four (two grown ups and two teenagers) could not have asked for a better place to stay. We only had one week to decompress- but the unit had everything- including a washer and dryer and a storehouse of cleaning supplies and the kitchen was fully equipped. The owner was always accessible and the walk to the beach was a block and a half away. Because of work obligations I had to spend a few hours each morning managing work emails but with a strong WiFi connection and a quiet location, I was able to stay sane and enjoy the beach during the second part of the day. Tons of food options and Ship Bottom is conveniently located so you can enjoy all the food and entertainment options available on Long Beach Island. I would recommend the unit and location without any reservations. Do yourselves a favor and stay here!!

We rented this beautiful condo only one block away from the beach. Everything was to our liking and super clean too! The kids had a blast in the swimming pool and really loved their room as well. Restaurants and shops are close by walking distance. Overall, had a great time renting this condo and will definitely come back next year.

The location of the property was the perfect distance from the beach, food & shops. The pool was exceptionally clean & refreshing!!! We saw the pool being scrubbed each morning. It was also nice having a restroom to use when you entered the lobby. The condo owner Andrea was very accommodating & helpful. She responded quickly to our questions, TY! The condo had a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom had a nice large shower. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The Tv’s in each room were a plus. Our complaints were carrying everything up to the third floor or down, 30 stairs each way. It was a good workout. The main complaint was the living room furniture. It was not comfortable at all. After a day at the beach or pool our suggestion would be for a comfy couch or chairs that invite you to take a nap, watch tv or just hang out as a family. This would have made it perfect.

This is the third summer we've rented Andrea's condo and just love it!

The location is perfect - A 2 minute walk to the beach, right next to amazing restaurants, and in the heart of Ship Bottom. Couldn't have asked for a better property manager. upon leaving, I left behind expensive headphones and they dropped them off for me at my house. 10/10 recommend staying here!

Beautifully clean. Loved having two beds AND two baths. Pool was so great! Short distance to beach and the best seafood at ShipBottom Shellfish. Andrea was super helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and cozy! Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. The kids loved putting the code in for the keyless entry. This third floor Unit had a nice view of the pool where their grandparents would sit to watch us swim. The beach is only a short walk. The only downside was having to cross the busy Blvd. Loved having the washer and dryer right in the unit. Thank you for a great week with our family!

Very clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked, nice pool. We really enjoyed Ship Bottom Shellfish Co. restaurant one block away. Would definitely stay here again at this property.

we stayed here this past week with our two children (10,11). the check-in process was easy, and the condo was clean, well kept, and pretty spacious. the location was very close to the ocean and bay beaches and walking distance to many restaurants. the condo itself is on the third floor (no elevator), so carrying our stuff in wasnt the easiest, but we managed and the rest of the time it was fine. the pool was small but very clean and nice to have available to use. overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Castle Harbor condo. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. We were close to the beach and restaurants. The pool on the property was clean and well cared for. Overall, a great vacation.

We had an amazing time at Andrea’s condo last week. The condo was incredibly clean, was in a great location, and we loved that there was a pool for our 2 toddlers on days that we didn’t want to lug everything to the beach (which was only a block away). I highly recommend renting this condo, in fact, we are about to book again for next summer. Thank you Andrea :)

My husband, myself and my 3 year old daughter stayed for the week and had an awesome time! With the pull out couch, we were also able to have my parents and in-laws take turns staying a night. It was very clean and welcoming! The pool was great for my daughter and myself (being 8 months pregnant). It was an easy walk to the beach and the surf taco and bagel place were excellent and very convenient. Another plus was that there are two parking spots so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. I would definitely love to stay here again!

This property was amazing. It was immaculate, comfortable, kid-friendly, and had an adorable beach theme throughout. The pool was cleaned daily. The 2 parking spots were convenient. It was in a safe, quiet area with plenty of things in walking distance, such as the beach, mini-golf, restaurants/bars, etc. I would definitely rent this property again and recommend to family and friends.
