We had a nice time at this beautiful cabin with amazing views. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all. The home was clean and supplied with linens, trash bags, blow dryer, 2 box fans. It is in a perfect location .. so near to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park shops and dining.

We spent a week with our son and family in your beautiful home. The six of us couldn’t have been happier! There was plenty of room for us to either do “our own thing” or play board games or dine together. The home was supplied with nearly everything we needed plus some. We made daily use of the hot tub and never stopped enjoying the spectacular views. We really appreciated the location - close to town and to the entrance to the park. We’d highly recommend this home to any couples or families looking for a home base convenient to so many outdoor actives!

Large house, plenty of beds and plumbing , room for parents plus grown kids and partners. Easy to get in and out of RMNP. The house has plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen, deck with spectacular mtn views, hot tub. Owners gave clear directions and keep this vacation home in meticulous care.

This place was beautiful. I don’t believe the pictures do it justice. We had a lovely time. It was extremely clean! :) There are a few things which could either be improved, or if we just had a heads up, we could have planned better. There aren’t any seasonings at all in the kitchen, so if you plan to cook, bring/purchase all your seasonings. There also wasn’t any shampoo/conditioner/body soap, so bring your own. I know we travel often and lately these things have been provided, so not every one of our 7 adults had packed their own. Also, the WiFi was spotty at best. We had to reach out to ask the owner to reset it, but we didn’t have any service, so it was very tricky to be able to reach out. If needing to work at all, this likely isn’t the best option. Beautiful, secluded, which is most of what we were going for. But our office was unable to get ahold of me for the entirety of our stay.
The hot tub was lovely to sit out under the stars in. We greatly enjoyed using it (after everyone showered)!
There was only one outdoor trash can, and with 7 adults who ate there for most of the meals and we brought in groceries etc. it wasn’t enough space. I was bummed we had to leave a couple bags inside!
DoorDash and Instacart do deliver there though! I was shocked.

The house was well maintained, the views were amazing, and Nancy and Dean were gracious and attentive hosts.
This house will be our choice when we return to Estes Park.

Everything about our stay at this beautiful house was exceptional! My sister, daughter and I spent one glorious week in Estes, hiking during the days and spending the evenings in the hot tub taking in the glorious views. The house was extremely clean, the beds very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed. Communication was great. Dean responded immediately to any questions we had and when we had a slight issue (my fault), he arrived within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Views were stunning! Would absolutely rent again!

The house is beautiful and is truly in a great location. The views of the valley were stunning. Nice hot tub on the deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Due to it’s remote location it is a bit of a drive up the mountain side but that location was our favorite part. There was ongoing road construction at the time so we had park a ways down the road for a few nights. Dean made sure we knew what was going on and the construction did not impact our stay. It was a good choice for our week in the mountains. I would gladly stay there again.

As soon as you enter the home, you are amazed by the unbelievable views! We have been visiting Estes for 9 years, staying in nice accommodations, but this home is by far the most beautiful! The views from inside this immaculate home are wonderful but you also have the choice of several decks to enjoy.

A bit pricey but very comfortable accommodations. The new garage was a bonus and made turning around very easy. The property manager was outstanding and responded immediately to a window issue caused by high winds. The deck was beautifully nestled in the rocks and pines. I would suggest removing the dead pine by the deck and trimming the two in front to open up the view. The hot tub was hot and sparkling although we did not use it.

Great time in this beautiful cabin! Dean and Nancy were so helpful when we got stuck on a slippery hill! We appreciated them going out of their way to help us! Would definitely stay again!

This condo is absolutely wonderful, the decks are beautiful, the location is very private and it’s so convenient. The living room furniture is a little worn, But in the whole scheme of things who cares!

We’ve stayed here several times, and will definitely come again! The house is very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The view is amazing. and proximity to both RMNP and Estes Park is perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and glad we chose this place. We spent most of our time on the deck and in the hot tub. Great views, comfortable place. No complaints. Easy quick drive into town, but tucked away enough to feel secluded and enjoy the privacy of your own mountain getaway. The starry sky was incredible.

Wonderful views, comfortable cabin, nice amenities!
We stayed 8 nights in this lovely cabin. My family from Ohio and Pennsylvania joined us, we had 7 folks. Ground floor has a restroom with shower and a bedroom with a wonderful view, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and full/twin bunk beds. Third floor has a wonderful bedroom and full bath, plus a pull-out sofa room. The middle floor has a half bath, plus kitchen, living and dining... and laundry! Owner was very responsive - we had a minor problem with an appliance and he came and fixed it immediately. Like most cabins in Estes Park, this one has no air conditioning, but fans are provided. The owner is building a garage, and this adds to parking area nicely (we had 2 cars). The large dining table was perfect to seat everyone plus it's where we played games in the evenings. The large deck off the second level has seating for 8+ and a large hot tub that felt terrific after a day of hiking in the alpine landscape. I hope we can get the family back together (not easy) and go back to this property. Grocery stores within 2-4 miles, dozens of restaurants (we ate at Penelope's twice), and the Stanley Hotel tour is really fun. Estes Park, and this cabin, won't disappoint.

The best choice when choosing to stay on prospect mountain
When coming into the house your first reaction is WOW! This property was fantastic from the first day up until the last it has everything you could want in a home I highly recommend the stay here. Dean was awesome with communication!

Million Dollar View
We booked this property because of the views posted in VRBO. We were not disappointed, after we made our way up a private winding (switchback) type of road. In the 5 nights we were there, we only met 3 vehicles on the road, and we appreciated how those 3 vehicles used the extra width at the curves so we could continue our climb. Property was as advertised. The views were definitely worth the trip. The host provided us with recommendations for dining out and we were most impressed with the pizza at Antonio's.

Unparalleled views, privacy, accommodations, and beauty!!!
Don’t think twice about booking this fantastic home perched on top of the rocks with breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and all that nature has to offer.
Everything was exceptionally clean, everything in great working order, and the hosts were fast and thorough with their communication and information/instructions about our stay.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting, but still want to be just minutes from town, this is your place. Book it and enjoy it!

Second trip to this amazing property
I loved my first stay so much, I came back with 5 of my friends. The most beautiful views of Estes and RMNP, a very comfortable and well-equipped house, and the best deck/hot tub in town. I can’t recommend this house highly enough. Nancy and Dean are also fabulous hosts, so easy to communicate with, and always available to answer any questions. I’m sure I’ll be back again and again.

Fabulous View!
This beautiful home is well maintained and well supplied. The owners communicate well and clearly have pride of ownership. The spectacular view makes every day amazing. On sunny days we had breakfast and dinner out on the very pleasant deck. If stormy we soaked in the view as wind and rain raged. It was a true pleasure to come back to this home after a full day of hiking. Highly recommend!

Great Views
This house is 15 minutes to downtown Estes. Very private house on a dead end road with no traffic. Nice deck with fantastic views of the valley. It was a good size house for two families of four and had everything we needed for the week.

Great house, attentive and friendly owners. Location great to hike at the RMNP. Lots of room, suggest multiple families to offset cost. Definitely get rental insurance, as not able to change dates (even due to health issues). Clean, everything you could need. Wifi not reliable. Hot tub and view terrific. Recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle, as the driveway is very steep. Would stay again.... Thanks!

Beautiful view in a well appointed and clean retreat
Perfect jumping off point for a few days of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. The house has a “frozen in time” feel - spotless, tidy and well cared for, but fully up to date with modern amenities (hot tub was amazing though request to not use in during final 24 hours in property was odd and not mentioned in listing). New TV’s have been added throughout the house, but we didn’t need them. Only request would be for some extra towels - we had to do laundry mid-trip, during a 3 day stay. Otherwise, a perfect place that is well cared for, and where we would gladly stay again.

Amazing!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Overlook house. The location was perfect, the deck was amazing and literally views that wouldn’t stop. It was us and our four kids ages 8-16 and it was perfect for everyone, plenty of room to spread out and space to all be together. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying here again.

Winter Wonderland
This property was exactly what we wanted. It is quiet and peaceful, close to Estes Park downtown (a few miles) and has extraordinary views. The owners were attentive and respectful of our time. Definitely recommend this listing! Our group was myself and my son and daughter-in-law. There was plenty of room for 8 people though.
