Fun spot right on the River and close to everything! Loved it!

This was our 2nd stay at Mary’s property on the Homosassa River. The cottage is very clean and the property is nicely landscaped. It is a great couple’s getaway. We love being able to dock the boat right in the backyard, hop on and be on the river. The springs are just minutes up the river and the restaurants and boat ramp just 15 minutes down river. You can be in the Gulf of Mexico in about. 30 minutes. Lots of opportunities to fish and scallop season is July-Sept. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s place. It was clean, comfortable and the perfect size. We had a great time lounging on the dock and sitting in yard. Manatees swam by all day and a couple herons came up to check us out. Overall it was peaceful, great location on the river. We kayaked with the manatees and enjoyed the nearby parks and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. Mary was helpful and very nice!

The restaurant parking was loaded and people were parked 1/2 on the curb so I was impossible to get a full size truck and trailer to the parking for the house. Also beware that you only get 1/2 the driveway. Not the entire pad is yours. We tried and tried to get in and had to come back home and didn’t stay there. Owner told me “not to contact them again” and that they had never had this problem before. That’s BS. Don’t stay here unless you have one compact car. Lost all my $ and sat at the house.

We really enjoyed our stay here...So much we tried to stay longer than originally planned. Unfortunate for us but it was already booked. The place is super clean, super quiet and is an amazing location!

Everything you need is there and Mary was very helpful. Would definitely go back, next time with my boat. :) View of the river was really nice. M.

Great spot on the water in great location. House is very comfortable and perfect for a couple. Very short walk to Marguerita Grill and a short drive or boat ride to Florida Cracker/Monkey Island area. We will definitely book this house again!

This was a great place to stay for exploring the nature coast. Clean and comfortable, close to river activities. Mary is a good host

I loved this place & would highly recommend it. It reminded me so much of the spring-fed lake I grew up on in Michigan. Ps. I couldn’t find a can opener.

Located right on the river, this place is picture perfect. The view is spectacular and we watched manatees from our patio. Mary is absolutely delightful and takes immaculate care of this property. The home is so comfortable, well-appointed, and super clean. We loved the river

This place was awesome! It was on the river we ate breakfast on the porch and took in the manatees sticking their fins out of the water, and different birds flying by . Very close to everything Ellie Schiller, and other great destinations! The lady who owned it was very easy to work with and helpful. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

I booked this property for 2 days of fishing in my Happy Place, Crystal River but I wish I stayed longer. The location is very convenient and the view is spectacular! I woke up early in 29 degree weather to take a picture of the fog on the river. Mary was a great hostess and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. This is a place I will return to stay again.

The photos for this listing do not reflect how lovely this property really is. The property is spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully located! The views from the windows are so lovely. As others have noted, the house is extremely clean! It is also nicely organized. This is by far the cleanest property I have ever visited. The property was quiet and private, despite being located near other homes and a restaurant. The host was a pleasure and communicated with us quickly. Can’t say enough nice things about this listing!

We loved the cabin. Very nice and clean! King size bed wonderful bathroom . Even though hurricane Elsa ripped thru area right as we were do to check in….Mary was great in communicating and we just delayed until next morning. Perfect location. We kayaked every day

We are local but wanted a place on the water for simplicity. We were absolutely blown away by this piece of paradise. This is real Florida. The owner clearly wants her visitors to relax and feel what the real Florida feels like. There is no other place like this home. Take notice of her native plants. So much history and depth surrounds this place.

I could not have asked for a better experience. As I have been visiting the area since I was a child, we've always stayed in rv Park or hotels. I won't do either again unless I have too. As long as this little slice of heaven is available, this is where I will be. The home was absolutely amazing and perfect. The owner, she is absolutely amazing, wonderful and so easy to talk with. The view, is a lil slice of heaven on the river. Again, I will look no farther again for anything else.

Beautiful property and beautiful location everything was great about the trip until I received a notice from the owner yesterday that she has kept our deposit and filed a claim against us saying that we smoked in her property not true total lie she’s a scam artist for the large claim with the insurance protection company saying that we smoked in there which is absolutely a lie will never stay at the property again...BEWARE

Everything was perfect. The river was so beautiful. The house had everything that we could possibly need. We enjoyed a airboat ride locally and walked around the corner to Margarita Grill good food and drink. .We hated that we didn’t have more tine to spend there. Would love to go back again.

My husband and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary here It was perfect!! Beautiful view, everything we needed was there. Mary and Randy were amazing host. We will definitely be back 😊😊

Stayed for three nights to swim with the manatees and enjoy the area. Location had excellent views of the river. Nice and quiet spot to relax and watch the world float by. Saw manatees, dolphins and all kinds of birds from the dock and sitting in the kitchen or outside from the chairs. Home had everything we needed and Mary was a great and responsive host.

Pictures don't do it justice! Beautiful, clean, quiet neighborhood. Ms. Mary was very sweet. The location was great to walk over to Margherita Grill for food and drink. Not pricy at all and the food was great. Seagrass Grill was nice too, just a few hundred feet down the road. We caught catfish off the dock. Did alot of people and boat watching. Saw birds and turtles and manatee rolling out in front of the dock. If you're looking for a nice, laid back, quiet, slow pace for a few days, highly recommend! Thank you Mary. We will certainly be back!

This has been one of our best experiences! Mary was very informational and helpful. She recommended some of the best river views, when we went kayaking and paddle boarding. Even where to dine in the evening, to take in some of the best evening sunsets! Taking us back to a time and place we will cherish forever!

Mary’s property was clean and we had all the items in the house we needed. The dock is up to date and has plenty of cleats to tie your boat. Mary allowed us to come early and park my truck and trailer, which allowed us to enjoy the water til check in. We will rent from her again. Thank You, for the great hospitality.

Perfect weekend getaway for me and my girlfriend. Accommodations were well-appointed and the location on the river can't be beat.
