Fernleigh è un bellissimo casolare tre camere da letto, situato a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia. I proprietari erano una volta che i proprietari della ex negozio di antiquariato in riva al mare chiamato 'Fernleigh'. Anche se la casa è piena di oggetti d'antiquariato, è adatto alle famiglie e accoglie i bambini di tutte le età.
La casa vi accoglie con un ampio porticato proiettato-in che ha una oscillazione da un lato e sedie a dondolo attorno ad un tavolino sull'altro. Si entra nella zona soggiorno soffitto alto con camino, tavolo da gioco, sala da pranzo e cucina. Il corridoio che porta alla camera da letto matrimoniale con letto king size ha anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice armadio. Il bagno principale che collega ha un vecchio stile artiglio piedi vasca con doccia allegato. Troverete accesso al portico posteriore sia attraverso la cucina e la camera da letto principale.
Al piano superiore si `ll trovare la seconda e la terza camere da letto con un condiviso full-bagno (solo doccia) tra le due camere da letto. La camera da letto a sinistra è una camera da letto matrimoniale con accesso al balcone. La camera da letto a destra ha un divano letto matrimoniale con rotelle estraibile. The Fernleigh Cottage is in the BEST location! We had a great time on the front porch and walking to the beach and dinner. There are lots of trinkets in this home. If you have tiny hands in your party, be aware of breakables although easy to pick up! However, with some many trinkets and furniture, you do feel cramped with your own luggage. Upstairs shower is the only downfall of this home!

This house is perfectly situated across the street from the Savannah Beach Pavillion (book your chairs at the Pavillion through cabanaman.com) and the "Square." Quiet neighborhood with onsite security. House was well equipped with all the necessities that you need to cook and relax. Be careful with tiny humans, as there are a lot of home decor items that are breakable. Thouroughly enjoyed the stay and the short walk to all things Seaside! Thank you, Fernleigh!

We enjoyed our stay at Fernleigh Cottage. The beds are comfortable. The location is a ten out of ten- close to the beach, close to the pool, close to town for restaurants and shopping..I would say the bathrooms could use updating. The upstairs bathroom has a very small stall shower, and the primary bedroom has a claw foot tub/shower- awkward to use if mobility is an issue. The furniture and decor is so cute but the couches in the living room should be more comfortable. We loved the screened in front porch! Kitchen was well equipped except we needed salt and pepper.

The exterior of the cottage was classic old Florida. The interior was untouched in the last 30 years. Blinds , lamps lighting fixtures operated in consistently. The furnishings had no comfortable seating, 20 chairs and 2 loveseats. The porch and its furniture were great! Bathing was an issue. The upstairs shower was so small you couldn’t turn around. The master bath had a footed tub with circular curtain; dangerous to enter and exit. There was no guest half bath on the first floor. All appliances and kitchen faucets were newer and worked well! Lots of excellent water pressure and hot water.

This was a lovely rental in a fantastic location! Overall we are happy with the property. However, we would like to suggest adding potholders to the kitchen. The back door was difficult to lock and open and it would be most convenient if it had an electronic code that matched the front door. Also, the couches were cute but uncomfortable.

Cozy house in a great location with private access to the beach and a short walk to the square. Only used our car once to drive to Panama City to shop at Ron Jon’s Surf Shop. Only negative is way too small of a hot water tank for a family of 4 to shower, had to wait a while between showers for tank to fill up and the upstairs shower is very tiny Could use some updating but overall experience was great

We were very disappointed in the furniture. There was no comfortable furniture to sit on to watch TV. The beds were extremely hard. The shower in master bath was terrible. No hot water for even one shower. The shower upstairs was so short, one of the girls had to duck to get under the shower head. Sheets felt like they had sand in them. The location was great. There were a bunch of misc fees. Our $350 per night rate ended up being $800 per night. Would not recommend.

Best location!
We loved Fernleigh! The location was amazing! Steps from the beach and town meant we rarely got in our car the whole trip. The cottage is quaint and feels like you’re back in time, but it’s still spacious, and the screened in front porch with the swing was where we spent most of our time if we were home. The bikes were a bonus, and we used them daily. The bottle of wine and the seaside cooler and towels were a great touch! Thanks for a great end to a not so great year. We will be back!

Seaside experience
We stayed in the Fernleigh cottage in Seaside. The cottage is very quaint and charming. The screened front porch is so inviting and we enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening cocktails there. We were attending a wedding and were able to walk to all the events. Location was perfect! Would highly recommend booking a stay.

We had a great time in Fernleigh. We scheduled a last minute trip to Seaside and were lucky to get this cottage. It is so conveniently located to the square and 3 houses from the beach. We had two couples and one college age adult. Perfect quarters. Plenty of space and seating. Great porch as well. It was very vintage and actually nice to be on the older side of Seaside.

Our stay at Fernleigh was very enjoyable. The house was very clean, charming & comfortable. I have given the "general condition" a "4" due to 2 issues: The free standing tub/shower combo in the master bath is, in my opinion, a little unstable (especially for seniors like me) for showers since there is nothing to hold onto nor a shower wall for support while showering. I would recommend installing a separate shower stall, and there is room in the bathroom to do so. Also, the microwave & fridge has some minor issues. The fridge door would not close completely on its own (had to give it a little push), and occasionally the microwave exhaust fan wouldn't turn off. I would have to unplug it to get it to turn off.
Overall, we enjoyed the property and its great location and would consider renting it again in the future. The property management staff was outstanding.

This property was beautiful and quaint, filled with antiques, original pine floors and trim, and a perfect location. However, there was no comfortable seating in the house, only wicker love seat, a two seater wooden bench, and two very antique uncomfortable rockers. Other than that, it was great.

This cottage is charming. The layout is great, and it's so close to everything. The location alone makes it worth it. We have two kids under two, so I will say the furniture is not very kid-friendly. A lot of it is iron/metal or very sharp-cornered wood. The doors to the upstairs bedrooms are pullout closet doors and very loud, so if you have little ones be prepared! Like the other reviews, the living room furniture is not very comfortable or accommodating to a family/more than two people. Honestly, if there was better living room furniture it would be near perfect. If there's a rainy day, there's really no comfortable area to hang out.

Making summer memories !
The house was perfect for our family. With the master downstairs and the other 2 bedrooms upstairs and their own bathroom. Location to all facilities and beach was absolutely fantastic. The screened-in front porch was spot on. Furniture was great place sit back and read and talk. This is return house for our stays at seaside.
Con: the living disparately needs a big couch and another smaller couch that are at the very least furniture that is comfortable. The smaller couch has less than an inch of sitting cushion. The living room furniture was unacceptable. The tv in the living room is too small. The house seemed to be dusty on the furniture. large cooking utensils need a bit more TLC when cleaning the house. The backyard is not usable at all. No grill. No table. Only 2 lawn chairs. Upon arrival both Exterior trash cans were over flowing.

We were here for a long weekend with our two college-aged daughters. The house was perfect for us. My only complaint would be there there isn't a comfortable lounging spot. The furniture is darling, but doesn't lend itself to relaxing. That said, the water pressure was AWESOME so showers, etc. were fabulous. The beds were adequately comfortable and there was plenty of chairs and space to sit. The porch is very nice and we enjoyed some time out there, but once it gets hot I'm not sure how much time you'd want to be out there. The location is probably one of the best features - the third(?) house off of 30A. So close to town and the beach was close and spectacular.
