The area itself was beautiful. It was a bit off the beaten path, but that's ok. The unit itself needed some maintenance work, but we were told that it would get done after we reported it. Also, clearer directions for entering and locking would have been helpful.

We so enjoyed the perfect location of this condo, right on the water, great community to walk around and on the West Lake side. Sat on the Deck watching the sun go down with amazing backdrop of lake, mountains and fall colors - great weather too made it complete!

It was a short stay for us, but it could not have been nicer. The view from this condo, overlooking a large green lawn leading to the lake, mountains in the background that the moon rose over at night, made the setting very romantic. A must-stay for anyone looking at Smith Mountain Lake.

Relaxing, cozy get away
I needed a place to relax and unplug and this was just the right fit. Quiet, peaceful, lovely places to walk. And there were some interesting things to do in the area if I wanted to get out. I would stay there again in a heart beat!

Needs a Good Inspection
Hello, the stay was very nice but just a few things - the shower was very very slow to drain and had to have someone come to fix it - the sliding glass door from the living room latch needs to be fixed - when locked from the inside just a few pulls and the lock fails from both sides in and out safety issue for me the whole time there - should get some sticks to insert in the base tracks to keep the place safer - all the doors - the toaster did not work you can see the heating elements broken inside - no toilet bowl plunger in case of a problem - that's enough Thanks

Autumn on Smith Mountain Lake
Our stay was perfect!! The weather was magnificent and the view from the condo's balcony was fabulous with the beautiful green lawn in contrast to the colorful fall leaves. We ate several meals out on the balcony. Very comfortable bed! We loved out time at SML in this wonderful condo. We will be back!! Thanks for sharing!

COVID getaway
We booked this property in February for an end of school year getaway. It turned into a COVID getaway. Our hope was to explore all that SML had to offer, but instead it rained our entire stay.
The condo is perfect for hanging between boat trips, a few meals and unwinding after a busy day outside. Because we were basically stuck inside for our stay due to the nasty rain, we didn’t enjoy the space as it was intended. However, we would rent again in the future for a SML do-over!

Condo was perfect! This was our first time visiting SML. We could not have stayed at a better place! The balcony seating area was our favorite spot! We were sad, due to Covid, the beach and pools were closed. But, we rented a boat at the marina and had a blast on the water!! Would love to make this a longer trip next time!!

Weekend Trip
Great stay for a quick weekend trip! Awesome location and views of SML. Condo was just as listed and communication with the owner was easy and helpful. I gave a 4 for cleanliness because some of the towels smelt like smoke and the kitchen was lacking some basic utensils (only found 1 spoon and could not find dish soap). But overall the place was very comfortable for our two night stay and we would love to come back!

Rest and Relaxation
With the stay at home slightly lifted... this was a great stay with immediate family. Able to take walks along the water and in community. Social distancing in place was able to enjoy time on the water. Beautiful area to look at the mountains at sunrise with a cup of coffee and at sunset with a glass of wine.

The stay was nice for a weekend get away! We did have a few concerns, but we chose not to deal with them considering we were only there for 2 nights. My first concern that I feel should be addressed is having someone fully inspect the unit between stays! It was really frustrating to see a dishwasher that was improperly loaded with food smeared all over the dishes. It was irritating not being able to use the dishwasher; we just hand washed everything we used.
Other than that there were just little things. The outlet did not work in the bathroom, and I am sure the thermostat was locked away in the closet in the bedroom, but it was super cold at night for my girlfriend!
We did have a good time, but I promise you that making sure everything is in tip top shape will always ensure return stays!

Seemed in pretty good shape. Large bed, great bath towels, nice view of the lake and mountains. Minor nits - No soap in bath, ice-maker broken or disabled, few small (tea) spoons, took a while to figure out the tv channels. Entry is poorly lit so try to arrive during daylight hours.

The view of the lake, mountains and trees from the kitchen, eating area and deck was gorgeous. we could not have had more sunny weather in November, Perfect for walks along shoreline and grilling steaks on the grill for my wife's birthday.

Fall Travels
The view of the lake and mountains were beautiful. We had a lovely stay at the condo on Smith Mountain Lake. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant, gift shop, boat and kayak rental on the property is all ready closed for the season.
