Our neice was getting married in the area and we decided to make a weekend of the trip from NJ. The Cabin was perfect for 4 couples to share, having 4 seperate rooms and two bathrooms for getting ready. We enjoyed the time together, the view of the lake was beautiful during our family breakfast each morning. With having a 3 year old, we did use the washer once. It was extremly convenient. Our host was a pleasure to work with very accommodating, and all instructions were clearly stated. When visiting family in Blairsville, we know where we'll stay - At Cabin Fever on Lake Nottely

Very beautiful property. Very comfortable and spacious. Loved sitting on the deck looking over the lake with my morning coffee.

Was a wonderful place to stay. Enjoyed the view of the lake & surrounding area. Close enough to be convenient for shopping. Yet, in area that was quiet and peaceful. Owner was quick to answer couple questions I had. Very pleasant gentleman. Would certainly stay here again, so, glad I came across this vacation rental. It's certainly a great place to stay, plenty of room for our family to enjoy spending time together. Thank you, Mr. Gaskell for allowing us to stay in your home....

PROPERTY WAS NICE. ONLY PROBLEMS WAS THE MOTHBALL SMELL AND THE TWIN BEDS WERE VERY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE.

Cabin Fever is a great vacation home! It's very homey, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The wrap-around porch has big rockers and a swing to sit and overlooks the lake. Grills are also supplied for outdoor cooking. There's a nice backyard leading down to the dock with a big clean lake for swimming. The cabin is well-stocked with everything you may need. The host is excellent and readily available if you need him. Overall, my family and I had a perfect stay!

Really reminded of our family farm house back home. The lake was down (winter time that happens) but there was still some wildlife here and their to enjoy. Walmart, ingles and various other stores within 2 miles. The cabin was well equipped with just about anything you could think of. Harold (the owner) is a Veteran and one heck of a guy. Called and talked to us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. What a great cabin, we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Harold!

In Blairsville for a funeral. The peace and comfort of the cabin enabled us to relax, visit and share memories with friends. Would stay there again.

We had a great time at Cabin Fever! The property was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with all you’d need for an extended stay…very cozy and homey. The property owner was excellent to work with. He was easy to reach when we called and fixed our small issue immediately! The cabin is located close to lots of hiking trails and state parks and Blairsville is a lovely town. Highly recommend a stay at Cabin Fever!

It's a very quiet and beautiful place. The owner responded quickly and was helpful when the TV had no connection. I would recommend that those staying to use the great fireplace they have. Me and my family enjoyed every commodity and all the different scenery throughout the trip. The home has a good distance from it's location to the Walmart. There are few houses in the area, however, all the residents are very quiet individuals. Also, there is a nice fire pit near the lake at the home. The entire family had a wonderful time! Harold is amazing to work with! The property sits close to town but still surrounded by the of quite nature! Tons of the most beautiful waterfalls & trails within less than 20 minutes! Very spacious for our group of 6! Shower room downstairs is fabulous! Would love to come back next winter!

What a pleasure dealing with the owner and the cabin was truly remarkable. The location was a little tricky to reach at first (don't trust GPS or Google maps, use common sense) but the property was excellent. Pictures do not do the cabin justice. It was perfect for 2 families of 4 and plenty of room and privacy. Everything you need and then some is provided and the owner is quick to respond to any questions. He was very welcoming and accomodating. The garage was a nice bonus and the downstairs shower is one-of-a-kind. We want to come back when the water level is back to summer levels so we can enjoy the river more. We love Blairsville and would love to become more permanent residents instead of twice a year visitors.

The cabin and our host was amazing. There was great communication and the location was perfect.

Check in easy, internet went off, communicated with owner, responded quickly, we rebooted and it was fine remainder of the stay. Downstairs toilet had an issue on last day, (flapper had necrosed- landlord called plumber. Owner extremely welcoming and responsive. We thoroughly our week leaf looking! No complaints at all. Loved seeing geese and then mallard ducks on the lake! Beautiful.

Very clean and comfortable with really big garage for your car,very rare for a lakefront cabin. I will definitely be back. Host and cleaning lady will bend over backwards to make your stay a real pleasure.

Cabin Fever is a great name for this property! I want one now!! My family and I stayed here on Lake Nottley and we never had to leave the property! It was perfect for our relaxing weekend and we want to come back! Thanks Harold!!

Lake house was fantastic!! We rented this for our annual family vacation, and it was a perfect setting for our crew. The home is spacious with 4 bedrooms that easily slept all 7 of us. The kids loved the bunk bed room on the basement level. Actually, the basement level was like a little get away for them with a TV room with games and puzzles, bathroom, and their own bedroom. The second bedroom downstairs was perfect for the parents. The main floor balcony was awesome with views of the lake and tons of shade! We loved the very shaded back yard with large trees. The kids played in the yard, chased fireflies, and of course wanted to be at the dock all the time. The owner had the dock fixed so it is now level with the backyard without a step down to it which was a HUGE help. We also fed the hummingbirds and all enjoyed watching 'Chirpy' and 'Flutter' come to the feeder all week. Things you should definitely know: This place is clean - super clean. The showers are awesome! The downstairs shower could hold a party inside of it with its size. Main floor shower is recently redone as well and beautiful. Water pressure is fantastic! I know that sounds silly, but we have stayed at many places where the water pressure was just non-existent. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, frying pans, glassware, etc. It has everything you need. You can use the garage which was great for unloading and loading. There was plenty of parking between the garage and driveway area. Close to everything! Blairsville is minutes away with shopping at multiple grocery stores and restaurants. White water rafting within an hour. Marinas super close for boat rentals. Water fall hikes within 30 minutes. Highly recommend Helton Falls...take your swimsuit. Fishing from the dock was pretty good. Picnic table located there made it super easy for seating or for watching moon-rise in the evening We managed to catch enough for a couple of fish-fry nights. Also recommend Nottley Marina for boat rentals, they were fantastic. We will be back!! Thanks Harold for sharing your cabin with us.

It's a great place to stay and was a nice as pictured. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy. The rocking chairs and swing on the porch were a great place to hang out and relax. Nice big TVs with streaming services are a plus in the evenings or when it rains. I could see staying there in the cool weather and enjoying the fireplace. 1 suggestion for improvement. Consider adding a swim ladder to the dock so that swimmers don't have to navigate the small rocks as they walk out of the water. Older folks who have joint issues/knee, ankle, or hip arthritis may have trouble navigating the walk down to the dock. The ground is pretty uneven.

This property was a great for a long weekend getaway. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful view at the dock with the mountain view.

It was GREAT! We stayed at Cabin Fever and even got to meet some of the neighbors too. If you are looking for a quiet place that you can have a party at, then this ain't the place. However, if you are looking for a great Cabin on the Lake in the North Georgia area that is quiet, clean, and relaxing, then look no further! Harold is a Great Host and just a great guy to deal with from minute ONE! The Cabin was very clean and the first thing you see is a welcoming sign on the table that invites you to "cookies". We loved the place and really enjoyed at night looking at movies on Netflix and Hulu. The King Bed was very comfortable and then, I discovered the Shower Room in the Basement...OMG!!! My wife came looking for me and discovered me in a steam room, since I had the shower door closed and was just enjoying the Hot Water pouring over my sore back...from too much Golf that Day! The water pressure was just outstanding and again, just loved that Shower Room. We had just a great stay and throughly enjoyed exploring all the mountain towns within driving distance, to include our day in the Nantahala Gorge (Land of the Mid-Day Sun); need to check it out if you do not know about this great area. We just had a great week at Cabin Fever, and, I can promise you that it will not be our last!!! Wonderful area, great restaurants, great neighbors and community, and, Wally World is only 2 miles away too. Do try to avoid the local Native Americans in Andrews, NC...they will give you $50 to play their games, then smile as they take a LOT more of your Funds!!! Recommend to Eat First, as we did...

Great cabin, fully equipped, worked perfectly for us. Would like to do summer or fall too, maybe do some fishing!
