We enjoyed our stay, had plenty of room for family while gathering for Thanksgiving,. They have all amenities you need, the house is large, sure it would be fun in the warmer months as well.

The house is in a great location so close to Tanglewood resort, the marina, island view park (beach) and there is a dollar store just down the road if you need anything or Walmart/town less than 10min away. We have little kids so we enjoyed having the pool and playground at Tanglewood just down the street. The house was very nice, rooms are huge. There were only a few flaws or issues we had. It was not mentioned and hard to notice in pictures unless you specifically look very closely, but there are stairs in the home that do not have a gate and have wide gaps in the railing, wide enough to be an issue for mobile infants/toddlers. The opening to the stairs is facing one of the bedrooms. The bathtub we would have used for the kids needs resealed. The bottom of the tub has multiple spots that have broken off so it is not useable. There is another tub but it is a jetted tub and not easy to bathe children in. Also, the enclosed porch area was not very clean. Could not let the baby go out there. There was a small grassy patch in the front of the house. The picture shown on the listing makes it look much bigger than it is. It’s too small for the kids to play as it is just a few steps wide then you are in the road. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location but maybe not for people with infants and young toddlers until some of those issues are addressed.

Property owner was very pleasant. We had an issue upon arrival with one of the AC units. Kristen was very responsive and had someone on site within a couple of hours. The home has a lot of charm, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils etc, the outdoor patio is a real treat in the morning. The lake is only about a mile away, you have access to the Tanglewood resort and the Highport Marina was easy to navigate to out in our boat. We had a great time during our short stay.

Great few days away with our adult children and grandkids! Families will enjoy the close proximity to the pool, marina and lake. The house offered plenty of room for both privacy and space for kiddos to spread out. There was plenty of plates, utensils, pots, pans and necessary essentials. A complete game cabinet and s’mores for the kids was a great touch! House and patios may be due for a little cleaning, but overall everything was neat and tidy. Good vacation! Thanks Kristen !

The living space was perfect, lots of space and everything we could have needed. Location was perfect, space for the boats and access to the resort pool. Kids favorites: The blankets were so soft and fluffy. The coffee bar fridge kept the sodas really cold. The resort pool was awesome! The screened in back porch is the perfect place to watch the sun set! Beds were all comfy. And the master bath is heaven!! They had many things that could be used for meals in the kitchen, coffee bar was wonderful. Very comfortable and well thought out for visitors down to games and books. All around, the place felt like a much upgraded home. All the comforts plus some. Tons of space so we didn't get in each other's way and beautiful on top of it all. We saw hummingbirds in the morning, fireflies in the evening. A great vacation spot for sure!!

Great place to stay if you are in the Lake Texhoma area! Plenty of room for everyone and the beds are comfortable!

This is an older, updated home. Has great features and ample space. Very nice furnishings, etc. And super close to Highport marina as well as Tanglewood resort access. We enjoyed our stay very much !

This house was the perfect set up for our kiddos & couples. Plenty of room. Plenty of bathrooms. Short walk to the lake and access to the resort. We had an awesome stay.

We enjoyed the ability to spend the weekend with our friends in a great entertaining house. The house is a short walk to the amenities and Marina. Restaurants close walk or short drive! Look out Tower was a good spot to see the spaciousness of the lake. *Needs updated a bit; great shower in the main bathroom; spacious back porch screened in is a plus, but needs a clean up; a bit dusty. Make sure frozen side of fridge is empty for next guest. Update towels and wash cloths. Light a candle. 👍 Thanks for being a VRBO LISTING!

The house was large and roomy with big common areas for visiting and games. We enjoyed the lake and Tanglewood making good use of the complimentary membership and the discounts provided! We highly recommend Serenity for a family or friendly getaway!

We went for husbands birthday with friends. The location is great, the house is amazing and clean. Tons of space. The patio is awesome and covered. We had a blast and definitely recommend this property. It's great for large groups and kid friendly.

Great place, great location, perfect for a family or group weekend at Lake Texoma! Very comfortable, clean & has a fully equipped kitchen, large screened in porch in a nice neighborhood. Few minutes down the road to Highpoint Marina with boat rentals, large restaurant; Tanglewood Resort right there too. Fun time- we will be back!

We stayed over the July 4th weekend with our family of 8. The interior is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are all lovely; the master bed in particular has a great mattress and bedding. All the bathrooms have been redone. The kitchen appliances were modern, only the cabinets await updating. Very nice little coffee bar area. The kitchen table only seats six, but there is a game table nearby for an additional four. We did use the grill, but otherwise the front and back porches are not very usable space. Back porch is especially dusty and in need of a cleaning. It also has a significant slant. It was nice to have the resort access, and the pool there is terrific. Kristen is quick with communication and check out was fuss-free. We will consider a return trip to this property.

We stayed here for a guided fishing trip. Very roomy and clean.

House layout was ideal for our family. However the outside of house could use some attention. A little TLC would improve the aesthetics a great deal. Additionally, patio area could have been tidier. Overall great place with resort access and close to marina and lake. We are already talking about coming back for a weekend trip.

Our family comes together and stays together every year for our Fall Feast of Tabernacles Church service! This year we kept it here at Lake Takoma, Tanglewood Resorts. This home was just half a Mile from our services being held at Tanglewood. It was perfect even for walking! With this rental was included all the amenities of the Tanglewood resort. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. This home was beautiful and big enough for our family. The rooms are nice and big and nice size bathrooms. The living room and kitchen was big and fully stocked. The screened in back porch is also very nice and relaxing! The beds were comfortable also! It was cozy and nice! We loved our stay here. We didn’t have any problems. The owner was only a text message or phone call away. She was very nice and we would definitely go through her for future rentings! We recommend this home with The highest ratings!
