Love Kiawah, What better way to enjoy your time at Kiawah than to be at this awesome condo. It was very nice, clean, so close to the beach, and you couldn't ask for a better location or property manager. The recommendations about the area and restaurants were spot on. The beach was so close and spectacular. Enjoyed out time and hopefully, will definitely be back.

We have been going to Kiawah for 7 years and this property was excellent. We have stayed at several places around the island but seem to always love the Mariners properties because of the closeness to the ocean. I highly recommend this property because the property owner reached out to us twice to make sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything while we were there. The place was clean, couch and bed were comfortable and there were literally no bugs at all which are typically found down in a lot of properties on the island but not this one. Definitely choose this place if you have a small family and want a good getaway with easy access to beach and other places like the nest that is a hop skip and a jump from the property!!

We enjoyed our stay. Barbara was so attentive to every question we had. The bedding was comfortable as well as the furniture. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. It was about a five minute easy walk to the beach. The only issue that some people might need to know about is that it is on the second floor and you have to climb about 22 steps up to the unit. Other than that, it was great for us.

Great home and steps to beach. Queen bed was advertised, but was definitely a double bed. Lighting in kitchen was minimal and cooking area was very dark. . Cooking supplies could be updated. Best part was the screened porch and quiet surroundings!

I loved my month stay on Kiawah Island. This condo is in a great location. Within steps of the beach and with a bike/walking path literally in the backyard and a 5 minute walk to Night Huron Park. I love to ride my bike and everyday was like a new adventure, riding for miles and miles mixed with daily beach walks. The beach was not crowded at all. I am not a golfer but the golf courses looked fabulous and made me wish I was a golfer. The condo was comfy and had everything I needed. My communication with the owner was awesome as she and her crew checked on my occasionally to make sure I had everything I needed. Shopping at Freshfields Village was convenient and Kiawah Medical Spa and Salon is awesome too. I recommend Ireland for massages. The people were all very friendly. It is definitely an island for those who wish to be active, not to mention exploring Charleston. I am missing Kiawah already and dreaming of going back to experience it in a different season and visit all the places I still need to visit near there. So much to do and see.

My husband & I spent the last three weeks of October at 4253 Mariners Watch. I communicated numerous times with Barbara, the owner, prior to arrival and she always replied promptly—I had lots of questions about the villa. Check in upon arrival was easy. The villa was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, updated bathroom & kitchen. Lots of closet & drawer space in bedroom. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals at home. The living room was comfortably furnished & the screened porch had been upgraded to a “wicker” loveseat, chairs, & coffee table. The porch was perfect for morning coffee & afternoon cocktails with a lovely view of lagoon. The walk to the beach was quick & easy. You are also steps from The Sanctuary, Night Heron Park, & the newly built Nest (shop & food services). The weather was perfect, we rode bikes, my husband golfed, & we spent hours every day at the beach. This villa is perfect in every way—location, furnishings, cleanliness, AND owner pride. Thank you again, Barbara! We had a wonderful three weeks!

We had a wonderful stay here! Check in was easy, the unit was clean and had everything we needed, and the owner even left us a chilled bottle of wine because we were celebrating our anniversary! It is amazingly close to the beach, and we loved the ease of renting bikes and umbrella/chairs. Kiawah is gorgeous, and we look forward to a return stay!

We had a wonderful trip to Kiawah. The condo was the perfect size and set up and the location/proximity to the beach access was great. Barbara was amazing and very accommodating. Will definitely be staying her again for our next trip.

This was a most relaxing stay for us. For the first time I wasn't chasing tee times, running into Charleston ( although it's fun), running back and forth to Freshfields, we went to Harris Teeter's to stock up only once, instead every morning a short walk to the beach, set up the umbrella, break out the sand chairs, and put in an 8 hour shift watching the tide roll in and out. We slept great, everything was chill. But, we got lucky, the owner Barbara is truly a remarkable person, she is the perfect host. Her rental is clean, and has a very comfortable sofa, and chair in the living area. I only hope we'll be able to rent from her again, because all her reviews are 5 star, all well deserved, and thanks Barbara, you're the best!!

There are over 3,000 houses/units at the resort, but not many have this beach access! When I’d see others having to cart their beach supplies from way across the main road, I kept thinking everyone else must be so envious. ;)
Mariners Watch is a fantastic location for anyone prioritizing beach access + this unit is in a great location within the MW complex. You will use Boardwalk 16. Look on the resort’s ‘interactive map’ and notice how central East Beach is to everything. I enjoyed the ability to quickly be at The Sanctuary.
Everything in the unit was squeaky clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. This unit is perfect for a single, a couple or a small family willing to use sleeper sofa. Barbara was a dream to work with - so kind, hospitable and quick to respond - a wonderful host!

Exceptionally nice condo in a very quiet neighborhood. Great location with easy access to the beautiful beach, restaurants and shopping! Barb is one of the nicest and caring owners I’ve ever dealt with and she sincerely wants you to have a great vacation!You won't be disappointed.

Excellent location and great hostess
Kiawah is a great location for beach vacation. The beach was not crowded and the water is so clear. The property is in an excellent location. It’s so close to the beach. The hostess, Barbara is awesome. I left my personal item behind. She followed up and shipped it back to me free of charge.

Very nice condo/very close to beach
Perfect one bedroom condo. Had a few minor glitches but owner responded immediately and extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend and will definitely go back. Super easy to get to beach.

Very pleased with our stay
We were very happy with our stay at this unit. It was clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach. The bike trail, which can be seen from the screened-in porch, was easily accessible . Plenty of things to see and do on and around Kiawah. We watched the sunrise on the beach and the sunset from the Bohicket Marina on Seabrook. We would book this property again.

Awesome apartment in Kiawah
It was our first visit to Kiawah and Barbara's apartment was the perfect place to stay for our visit. It was a well appointed apartment with everything you may need. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach with much needed A/C. There was an easy reserved parking spot out front. I read reviews of other apartments on the island that had problems with rodents and/or bugs, and this apartment was spotless and we never saw any issues with those things. We loved exploring the area and having a great place to come back to at the end of the day.

Condo coziness
The condo was cute and we loved the location. The screened in porch had a nice view over water and a bike path, so we watched bikers and even saw deer run by on the bike path one evening at dusk. We were close to both the beach and the pool. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked so we were able to prepare several meals in the condo. We brought our bikes and rode them for miles, kayaked at Mingo Point and played tennis on clay courts at the Sanctuary. We had a blast! I’d stay there again.

The condo is located in a great location, very close to the beach and is in great proximity to everything else on the island. We really enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed while there. The host is very responsive. She provided us with quick answers and helpful information about the area.

Very nice 2nd floor condo! Screened in porch with quiet surroundings. Close to The Santuary restaurants and the beach! Very clean. We enjoyed our relaxing time on beautiful Kiawah Island.

Fall Vacation 2021
The owner was great and overall this property was exactly as listed. Short 2-3 min walk to the beach. Pool was a short 5 min walk. The screened in back porch was wonderful. The 2 TVs were great and the Wifi was great too. Having resort privilege's is the only the way to stay! We did call maintenance once and they were VERY quick to respond and corrected our issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness is I personally believe the cleaners could pay a little more attention to detail. (And we are a little quirky that way!) We would stay again. No place like Kiawah!

Wonderful location!
Our getaway was for beach and golf and this rental fit the bill. Adequate space for two adults, plenty of appliances in kitchen, blender, toaster, coffee pot. Fridge was large and freezer made ice quickly and quietly. Laundry in house was a big plus for us Very short walk to beach. Would recommend more hangers in the generous closet. For discussion with on site property manager: under cabinet lighting worked sporadically and screened porch fan did not seem to be working. Perhaps an overall discussion with housekeeping agency about shower cleanliness and front entry screen door upkeep. All these things generally effect all older beach location rentals. Loved the toiletries!!! Very enjoyable vacation for us.

Better cleaning
The villa was very nice, but needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. I dropped something under the bed and reached under to retrieve the item and there was at least an inch of dust that clung to the item. I don’t believe it had been dusted in quite some time
