The Yellowstone House
Va bene qui per te, a The Yellowstone House ...!

4 rooms all with queen beds made this the perfect home for our family reunion with 4 adult couples. Upscale rustic western log home with big kitchen and spacious rooms and outdoor decks for gathering. Great location with fantastic views, short walk to swim in the river and amazing hiking trails within 20 minute drive. Nice Steinway piano too. We all loved it!

This was our family’s second stay at the Yellowstone House. It has been one of the easiest homes for our family to gather with its proximity to local family and events. It is so “homey” and the views from the house are 360 degrees of “Paradise”. We moved chairs around every day on the multiple decks to catch the wonder of sunrises, sunsets, rainbows and children playing!
The rustic nature of this property is so beautifully tasteful and allows for a more relaxed experience for a very busy family. We deeply appreciate the experience the host provides for us.

My family stayed here while attending a wedding weekend at Stoneflower. The owner, Tom, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and kind. The home was beautiful and has stunning views on all sides. We would absolutely stay here again

We rented this property and barn for our son's wedding and it worked out perfectly. Family stayed in the main house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and accomodations. Beautiful setting with nearby mountains (which got snow one night!) and along the Yellowstone River. Interior barn is well-appointed and pretty. The newly rennovated small cottage on the property is adorable and the newlyweds stayed there. It was a wonderful stay!

We stayed here with family for my daughters wedding, the venue down the hill from the cabin was so nice and perfect to host the wedding celebration. The view were just stunning and breath taking! We plan to come back to stay on our now yearly vacation, thanks to the host for being so kind and helpful!

This VRBO experience was magical because of the house and its location on the Yellowstone River. It's close to river rafting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, ATV riding and of course Yellowstone National Park where bison did actually walk right in front of our car - just like you imagine! Our family of 10 from age 69 to 3 all enjoyed this house! The 3 levels provided privacy and the porches all had magnificent views! The hosts were friendly and helpful but not intrusive! I can highly recommend this Montana experience!

This is a peaceful place walking distance to a little beach area with a river. A little over an hour drive to amazing activities such as zip lining, white water rafting, seeing prairie dogs, horse back trail riding from Bear Paw outfitters, hot springs, dino museum, sanctuary for rescued grizzlies bears.
This property has everything you need including seasonings. You can either eat out or go to Albertson's grocery store which is only 15-20 minutes away. The property has cooking utensils, measuring cups and spoons. There is a sweet loft upstairs that has a sink and toilet. It has a queen size bed that is very comfortable. There is a lot of room for a crib/ pack n'play a d/or air mattress for extra children. There is 1 bedroom with queen bed on main floor. Also the main bathroom with shower. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom to share. They have a hang out area downstairs with a sectional couch, tv, games, and books. There is laundry downstairs with laundry soap and detergent so you don't have to worry about packing a ton of clothes and detergent. They did have an extra mattress to throw upstairs if needed. The wrap around porch gives you all the views you need to see the mountains. My husband and I split the cost with his 2 brothers. There was 9 of us total.
There is a coffee pot, a percolator for hot water, griddle for pancakes. At night we used the telescope to look at the moon, deer and look for other wildlife. The mountain views are just gorgeous. None of us wanted to leave. It was a great experience all around. The property is cozy and spacious at the same time. We highly recommend to families who want to experience Montana and the peace you feel when you enjoy the outdoors at night.

Beautiful property in Paradise Valley!
We had a wonderful stay in this log cabin home in Paradise Valley. The location is fantastic and views are gorgeous! You can easily access activities like fishing/beach right on the property to hiking and rafting and dining in nearby Livingston or Gardiner. Despite the closure of the north entrance of Yellowstone currently, we could walk into the north entrance at Gardiner, and we could still make the drive (2.5 hr) to the West entrance to fully experience the park. Highly recommend this great base camp- owner is very responsive and helpful!

Yellowstone House
Overall our experience was great. Check in was easy. Great communication between the manager/owner. The views were amazing at this property. Husband caught plenty of fish from the Yellowstone river even though it was moving pretty quickly since there had been lots of rain in the area. The house is a bit dated but everything worked great and the house was stocked with everything you needed for your stay.

60th birthday celebration in Paradise Valley
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-night stay at the Yellowstone House while celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Our adult children stayed with us the first three nights and then close friends joined us for the remaining seven nights. The location is spectacular with views of the surrounding mountain ranges and within steps of the Yellowstone River. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make wonderful meals. We loved the rustic and comfortable feel of the home, and enjoyed mornings drinking coffee in the living room area enjoying the mountain views and the fireplace. My husband and our children loved soaking in the hot tub in the snow. Tom was super responsive throughout our stay. Thank you for being a fabulous host. We will be back!

Perfect Mountain Wedding
We booked the Yellowstone House with fisherman's cabin, and rented out the barn for our March 20, 2022 wedding. The views and property were more beautiful than I even imagined. We had some family staying in the main house, we stayed in the cabin, and some family/friends staying in hotels in Livingston. The owner was great, we encountered no issues during our stay on the property. If you want an intimate setting for your wedding/event/family reunion I definitely recommend. We will be back in the future for sure!

Stunning Rental
We rented this property for a small wedding. Tom was very accommodating with the few things we needed done before we even arrived. Once we arrived he was very quick with any small questions that popped up. The property itself is stunning and comes with tons of amenities which helped make our event complete! Can't say enough great things.

Great mountain getaway
My family and I (6 adults total) stayed at Tom’s property for an end of the summer getaway. We loved our stay. It was just far enough away from town which we wanted, but close enough that if we needed anything we were right there. The cabin itself is beautiful - a little rustic with all upgraded amenities. We enjoyed all the board games each night by the indoor fireplace and the walking path down to the river which was easy enough for my parents to enjoy. We will definitely be booking with Tom and Bridget again in the future.

Rustic cabin on the river
Stayed for a week with large family of all ages. Location and property are great, especially if going into Yellowstone. Both main and fisherman cabin are comfortable, but very rustic features.

Family reunion in Paradise
Our family needed a large space for a family reunion we were attending . The house was spacious and very family friendly. It is a “warm worn” which took away from the anxiety of keeping the living space perfect. Our grandchildren played for hours in the fields, swam in the river, enjoyed baseball games, counted the stars......and on and on! Adults soaked in the views, leisured on the multiple decks, and , of course, fished! The hosts quickly resolved a couple issues ( locking keys in the house) and getting propane to us . An all around just wonderful rental. .....( our little girls and NaNa fell in love with the resident cats!)
Thank you for making your great property available to us!

Terrific Thanksgiving
We had an amazing stay at the Yellowstone House. It was a wonderful escape for us during this bad year. We had planned on going to Belize but cancelled due to Covid. While we had no howler monkeys or iguanas in MT, we had much more ---a great vacation with close family. The house and property are as described and even better! We would love to go back in summer or fall.

Yellowstone Paradise
Where to begin, the Yellowstone House will forever be the start of my new journey as a married couple with my husband. Our family and friends traveled across the country to celebrate us. Tom’s place is truly magical and exceeds all expectations. The lodge was absolutely perfect for our family. It had so many nice touches and views that would make anyone happy. The Fishermans cabin was perfect as a “honeymoon suite.” The event barn was a dream for our wedding reception. It was spacious, warm, and intimate. The communication was excellent. The location was perfect to get to town in Livingston, Emigrant, and Yellowstone National Park. We made lifetime memories and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Location
The Yellowstone house was a wonderful escape for our family of 5. The location and views were amazing! Tom and Bridgette were wonderful hosts. The home is a bit rustic, but with modern touches and finishes. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We hiked the Pine Creek Falls nearby and did daytrips to the Bozeman area. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

Amazing views!!
Tom and Bridget own a little slice of heaven. We fit everyone in our group comfortably and let the in-laws have the fisherman’s cabin. The river was just a bit too swift for us to fish with spin rods but it didn’t matter. The house has everything you need and there isn’t a bad view from any part of the house. Would highly recommend!
