Villahermosa è una storica Hacienda spagnola situata vicino a Ruth Hardy Park nella zona di Movie Colony di Palm Springs. La casa è stata costruita nel 1936 e si dice che sia la guest house di una famosa celebrità. La nostra posizione di primo piano è vicino alla città, fuori dal vento e offre spettacolari viste sulle montagne.

La cucina è completamente attrezzata, compresi elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile. I bagni sono aggiornati, ma mantengono il loro carattere originale. Le porte francesi in ogni stanza principale conducono alla grande piscina privata di 36 piedi e alla vasca idromassaggio nell'ampio giardino di recente costruzione. Goditi gli agrumi freschi dei nostri alberi di pompelmo, arancia, mandarino e tiglio. Cenare all'aperto con la scelta di due diversi pergolati, o rilassarsi nella nostra area gazebo all'aperto.

Villa Hermosa was one of the most beautiful homes we have had the pleasure of staying in. The location, the property just everything was top notch. The home had everything and more! Comfy beds and an amazing kitchen, awesome entertainment system, reading material just everything! Beautiful decor that was eclectic & steeped in history. If the home could talk.Wow! Thanks Angie, we cannot wait to come back. It was simply perfect. We felt safe and so very at home. Never have we gone somewhere and all of of individual needs of each member of our family been met, as they were here. ♥️

Great place with beautiful grounds and eclectic decorations that fit the Palm Springs vibe. The host was nice and quick to respond. My only knock would be that the hot tub stopped working after the first day, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying there again in the future.

Beautiful property, with lots of cool art and nooks to hang out in. The pool is surprisingly deep (and cold). For extra money you can have it heated (highly recommended unless during summer), but for our stay the pool heat did not work (the property manager refunded promptly).
My group of friends really loved the place and the neighborhood. You feel like you're living in some old movie star's guest house, which I guess you actually are. Only downside is that the place needs some updating and could have been a little cleaner. The pool floaties were grody, and outdoor bed was unusably dirty, which is too bad because it looks like a great place to nap.
Overall a fun experience, and Angie was good to work with. Would stay there again! Thank you.

Everything about this house is beautiful. From the 3 year old to the 68 year old - we all loved staying there. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. It was incredibly hot when we were there - so spent a lot of time in the pool!

The house was great with plenty of room. The pool is perfect and the kitchen worked out great for the chef's we hired. There are tons of sweet outdoor spaces as well. The only issue was the A/C couldn't keep the house below 86 during the day when it was 106 - 114 outside. Fortunately, it cooled off at night so we could sleep. 1. Property manager Angie - poor communication, unprofessional and unresponsive. Clearly a rookie in hospitality.
2. Dismal cleanliness included stained bathrobes and towels, dusty everywhere, dirty pool, leaky hot tub and no upkeep on the property interior. How about a deep clean in the last 10 years?
3. No delivery on “luxury” rental experience - don’t be fooled by the charming backyard, this place is designed for minimal maintenance for the biggest bang for your buck. There are an abundance of better options in the area with exceptional customer service.

This home was the perfect getaway for me and my girlfriends’ annual Palm Springs trip. Beautiful home and backyard with a saltwater pool. It’s centrally located to downtown PS but we barely left the house the entire weekend. Angie was so helpful with all my random questions. We’re looking forward to staying here next year!

1. Property manager Angie - poor communication, unprofessional and unresponsive. Clearly a rookie in hospitality.

This is a quaint charmer. A clean older property with character and modern conveniences to make it comfortable. We've been to PS several times before so we just laid by the pool, ate, drank, read books and relaxed for 3 days of de-stress. We only left the property once for an evening meal downtown. This place was our relaxation oasis.

We had such a great time at this property…it was like staying at the most beautiful casita with the best design details. Angie was so great to communicate with through questions and details but really, the property was just so special, like out of a movie. We loved it and look forward to staying again in the future.

Dump in a Great Neighborhood...Beware!
We were surprised to see so much deferred maintenance for such a pricey property. There were stained curtains, taped curtain rods (that actually fell on my head when sliding the curtain open), signs for door locking (doors still wouldn't lock), and signs for the plumbing. This is not everything but enough to explain we did not have a good feeling for where we were staying. The location and the views were what we tried to focus on. However, just one day after arriving we had issues with the plumbing in one of the bathrooms. Our second day we had to deal with a plumber at the house, again, not a great experience. The property manager told us not to use that bathroom and to avoid flushing tampons...unfortunately the entire group is well beyond tampon years. Our 4th day a 2nd bathroom started having sewer back up in the shower. We were down to one bathroom and the house was filled with a sewer smell in which we all had to retreat to the main bedroom and open all the doors. Thursday morning when we agreed for the plumbers to come early, we didn't realize they would be jack hammering for the three hours before our departure time. We ended up having to leave because the noise was too much. We have reached out to the property manager twice seeking compensation. To date we haven't heard from her...not so much as an apology. Avoid this property!

The property manager is friendly and accessible. Don’t book expecting a new or newer home. Do expect a nicely updated property that retains its Movie Colony charm + a velvet painting of Alice Cooper.

Girlfriends getaway
Villahermosa was a wonderful friends getaway from the Wisconsin winter. It is an eclectic home that has a truly amazing outdoor area! We spent so much time enjoying the pool and all the different outdoors seatings!
Angie was so helpful anytime we contacted her! Hope to come back!!!

It's a great house in a great location. The photos are representative. The house has character and history but is clean. The property is spacious, with so many outdoor places to sit or relax with friends, whether you are chasing the sun or the shade. We loved our time there I would go back again in a second!

A wonderfully eclectic, relaxing and charming home, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Beautiful home, garden, pool, and fire pit areas. Quiet, secure and very private. We are definitely coming back, hopefully more than once!
