Our family has a wonderful time visiting OIB. This house was perfect in every way. We love the location and being on the canal is a plus! Having the use of a golf cart was also a bonus!

We love this house and hope to rent it every year!

The property was as it was listed online. The space worked well for our family of nine. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The golf cart and kayaks were definite perks our family enjoyed. The only negatives that could use attention were the shower doors in the canal side master bath, the ice maker slowly makes ice, and the dryer drys very slowly.

Clean, close to beach, waterway access, and golf cart. Fantastic house!

We had a great time at OIB in this house! Two families with two young kids each and we had plenty of space, plenty of amenities, and would definitely rent here again. There was one small unavoidable maintenance issue (due to the weather), but the owners and maintenance company were very responsive and helpful.

This was the third year we have stayed at this property. We love the location and the use of the golf cart. The house is lovely and includes a well equipped kitchen. The hosts respond quickly to any questions or issues.

We loved our week at 6 Leland Street! The house was very clean on arrival and no issues at all. The golf cart was a great addition also (we also rented a large golf cart due to the five grandchildren we had with us.) I highly recommend this house.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed at, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The location can’t be beat, and we loved having use of the golf cart.

This home was beautiful and so clean. It had EVERYTHING you could ever want in a vacation home. The kitchen had more than enough utensils, cookware, dishes, etc. We loved sitting on the deck, screened in porch and under the house. There were kayaks, we didn’t use, and cornhorn boards that we enjoyed. The golf cart was wonderful, even though the walk was a short distance to the beach. The location was great. We loved this home and hope to come back next year.

This was by far our best OIB vacation house yet, already booked the house for next year!

Everything worked out great for us. My extended family rented two other houses and we were pleased with the location and proximity to the other houses.

Very convenient, comfortable, and well-appointed house. Four young grandchildren had a blast forming bonds that will be lifetime treasures.

What a perfect week! Everything was amazingly clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent location and very well stocked in the kitchen. Our only issue was the golf cart had a flat tire the first day and it took 3 days for the property management company to respond and fix it, so we went without the golf cart for several days which was disappointing, but at least by the middle of the week it was ready to use again. We hope to vacation here again!

My extended family had a reunion at OIB. The majority of the people stayed at a beach house down the road. I had my wife, and two littles along with my mother and uncle. This house was perfect for our needs. The good cart was an added feature that allowed us two conveniently get back and forth. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic week. House was very clean and met my wife’s high standards as a clean freak. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen and house were stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed. The yard and property was neat even following much destruction from Hurricane that destroyed many properties around the week before. The walk to beach access was very close. We enjoyed the golf cart to cruise around in evening, but did not use much during the day. Everything was so close we walked and carried our things to the beach most days. We would love to stay here again next year if possible. Wonderful host and property!

We absolutely love this home on the canal & the town of Ocean Isle Beach! The house is so roomy & comfortable. More than enough seating & comfortable beds for our party of 6. Although some of the living room furniture is getting worn. Still very comfortable. We had coffee on the front porch every morning, except for the morning we rode our rented bikes to Drift(a very nice coffee shop with outdoor seating) & had coffee on their deck. There is also a wine & craft beer shop right next door. We also spent many evenings on the back deck. Having a dock on the canal was also a nice feature. Talked to many of the other families that were renting & homeowners near us while my husband sat on the dock & I floated in the canal. It was fun watching all the fish jump as well. We also encountered a heron sitting on the dock when we came up from the beach one day. The walk to the beach is very short, as the public beach access is right down Leland St. The golf cart was an added bonus. It was so convenient to have that to get all our chairs, coolers, beach bags & what not to the beach without having to make several trips carrying all of our belongings. We grilled out one evening on the charcoal grill that is provided & loved the outdoor shower to rinse off after being at the beach. I reccommend trying the Sugar Shack. It's a small, local Jamaican Restaurant right across from Lowe's Foods. Their coconut shrimp is amazing! And you get a lot. We ate there twice. Very good jerk as well. Dave And Cynthia are very easy to work with. This is a great home & plan to rent again.

This property is very comfortable and located near the other houses my aunts and uncles rented. The location was perfect for us. Our adult children and grandchildren stayed away because of COVID19, so we had the place to ourselves! Really enjoyed the golf cart. It's a BIG plus.

It was a beautiful and clean property. We enjoyed the deck and screened porch and the canal. Our family got to talk and laugh together. Easy access to beach and the golf cart was nice sometime although you did not really need it. The kayaks were enjoyed by our son and grandchildren. Thanks for a fun time.

Enjoyed a great week at OIB in this wonderful house. Dave and Cynthia have thought of everything you could ever need. I have never stayed in a rental with so much kitchen supplies. Everything from the location to amenities was perfect. Our boat was at our fingertips all week and we enjoyed fishing from the dock. The kayaks and golf cart was a great added bonus. The house was clean and easy to access. Great location and the canal in the back was a plus. The golf cart made getting to the beach very easy although it was so close sometimes we just walked. Plenty of room in the house and the porches and downstairs were very nice. We would definitely stay here again

I’ve been told I’m a clean freak. This house met my expectations! We have rented many houses in the past and this one by far is the cleanest and most taken care of. I would for sure recommend this house.

The owners were friendly and quick to respond to our queries. We enjoyed the "extras" such as the electric golf cart and kayaks. We were a bit surprised with the outside security system camera that covered the ground floor patio.

We LOVED this house. It had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. There were so many thoughtful touches and it felt more like home than like a rental. If it were my house, I couldn't have done it better. Inside: We liked that there were fans in every room, plus two AC units. One for upstairs and one for down. Everyone could get comfortable. The beds were also comfortable and each one was different, so it felt like home. We also loved that there were three bathrooms - PLUS a cedar lined outdoor shower! Perfect. We also found that there were plenty of books, games, videos and other creature comforts to make us feel welcome. The kitchen had every type of dish, pot, pan and utensil that you could imagine. Though we tried to keep our meal prep easy, you could have cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner in that kitchen without a problem. Outside: Parking was a dream! We loved that we could get two cars under cover on one side and a third on the short side. PLUS, there was a side parking area that could handle another car or a trailer. AND - we LOVED that we had use of the golf cart. We drove everywhere in that thing. It was so much fun and it made us feel like locals. Thank you for providing it. We were less than 2 blocks from the beach and of course, had the canal as our back yard. We brought our paddle boards and caught the sunset from the water. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. We will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends.

On a whim with our son making it to states for baseball, we were in need of a place to stay. We had one week to find it. This was the first to pop up and popped up every time we refreshed the search! It was truly meant to be. It was very accommodating and beautiful to say the least. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and hope to get to stay here again on our next beach trip!!! Ocean Isle is beautiful and a wonderful family beach. This was our first time and needless to say...our beach of choice from now on.

Our family could not have asked for a better experience. The house was well stocked, extremely clean, and the amenities were perfect! We LOVED the dock for fishing and the kayaks for use in the canal. A definite must stay for next year! The beach access was sooooooooooo close!
