The house is as lovely as the pictures. Plenty of room, beautiful view out the back windows of a snowy meadow. Dining table large enough for the 10 of us. We had a wonderful snowy Thanksgiving week.

We as two families had a blast staying in this updated cabin that offered some wonderful amenities and comforts for both of our families. The size of the cabin was perfect for all 12 of us and we used every ounce of space during our vacation. The cabin was very close to all needed and desired outlets for food, gas, fishing gear and licenses and even to the various outlets to begin driving to lake Tahoe. We had a blast fishing the Truckee River, hiking up from Fallen Leaf to the Angora lakes and then back down to Lilly lake and the waterfalls and then just relaxing on King's beach for the day. Time went by so quickly! We purchased all our food in Reno and brought it to the cabin and there was ample space for all that was needed along with cookware, some spices, serving ware and dining ware. The cabin was great! The only down side was that upon checking in, there were several spider webs that were in corners, under beds and on the walls and ceilings. We had to vacuum and use the broom to clean out these spider webs so that we felt more comfortable sleeping. There is a TV in the cabin, however for the a large group it is very small and somewhat in a weird space. Just was hard to view. Maybe the owners will put a large TV over the fire place for future guests. All in all, we would totally stay here again without question. Owners are very responsive, kind and very detailed in offering good instructions and information.

We stayed over Christmas and this was a great house for getting the extended family together. The house was spacious and well-stocked and we had everything we needed to cook meals for 10 people. Unfortunately we also happened to be there during the record-setting snowfall and were trapped with all roads closed and no power for multiple days. The house was stocked with candles and firewood and the owner was very communicative and gracious about encouraging us to stay as far beyond the end of our reservation as needed to make a safe departure (we ended up needing to stay 2 additional days).

Great location! We enjoy staying in the Tahoe Donner area! The property was exactly as advertised, spacious, clean and everything worked! Many amenities. Loved sitting on the deck enjoying o good book and a refreshment.

We had a great stay - the place was spacious and enjoyable, and the Tahoe-Donner community is perfect for a family vacation. Pros: - spacious place - Pat, the host, is easy-going and a good communicator. Check in/out was seamless - They had a pack 'n' play, high chair, and toys for our 16-month old. For those traveling with a young kid, these items are priceless. - Place is nice! Open layout, plenty of beds, privacy, etc. There's a trail that touches the backyard that is great for short hikes with kids Cons: - It's a bit far up on the hill, more than we were used to. Of course, that's as advertised - just a bit longer drive than we expected - No AC. Again, this is as advertised, but it's an important consideration given fire season. But not for fires, it's not a big deal because the temps cool down at night...but fire-season throws a wrench into everything! Overall, we strongly recommend this place.

The layout was perfect for adults and teens. The large bedroom/family room upstairs with a ping pong table in the loft was a the perfect “get away” for teens! The large kitchen/dining/living made cooking and visiting easy and comfortable. Also, large windows open to a nice deck for relaxing and visiting.

We stayed at this awesome property for 1 week over July 4th. We were a group of 10, with 3 children under the age of 8. The house was clean, well ventilated, spacious and very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and the property owner very responsive by email. The house was perfect for a large group with kids. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again!

This property is comfortable and well-appointed. We had everything we needed in this home with plenty of room for our group of 12. The best part for our family was all 8 grandchildren sleeping in the large room upstairs. These cousins really enjoy each other, so that room worked out great! Lots of great hiking in this neighborhood. We highly recommend this property!

The home is beautiful and huge. Our family loved staying here and we will definitely rent this home again. We didnt have a large group this trip, but it would work really well for a large group or multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the living and dining areas were clean spacious and well decorated. My kids loved the ping pong table and the exploring the outdoor space behind the house.

Nice House. Had all the amenities we needed including all cooking utensils, silverware, dinnerware pots/pans and grill, etc etc. The kids really enjoyed all the toys as well as the great selection of books and board games. The biggest hit was the ping pong table! House is right next to a bike/walking trail. Beds were comfortable and place was clean. Would highly recommend.

The house had everything that we were looking for. The accommodations were great, the location was central to what we wanted to do and the owner was extremely communicative and helpful. The owner even addressed an issue with the garbage disposal that we weren't even aware of. Extremely comfortable and well provisioned for our stay. It would be my first choice for a return visit to that area.

The house is spacious and well designed, great well-equipped kitchen and private deck excellent for sitting and enjoying the mountain air, greenery as well as for eating meals. We hope to come back soon, we didn't want to leave.

This home is perfect: open floor plan, chef's kitchen (with quality dishes/pans and utensils) sunny private deck (overlooking woods), nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. The linens and towels are hotel quality. We enjoyed every minute and appreciate this quality of house is available for rent! Thank you!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The house is spacious with nice loft and bunk room, kitchen has big island to prep meals and well stocked with cooking essentials. We appreciated that owner provides a generous cleaning supplies such as paper towel, dish soap, detergent, shampoo...etc.

This house is much brighter and even better than the pictures show. Open floor concept, tons of windows, two slider doors that open to a beautiful deck (which by the way can fit a competitive game of corn hole), comfy large couch, ping pong table inside upstairs in HUGE loft area....and more. The house exceeded our expectations. The 'backyard' literally is part of a massive trail system. This area (Tahoe Donner) is well known for bikers, but we did a variety of amazing hikes using the All Trails apps, and had an amazing time. Only weird thing was being able to use any of the awesome Tahoe Donner amenities (you have to 'reserve' a time slot to use the community pool, golf, etc) but that is all COVID related. Between paddle boarding in Donner lake, hiking daily, BBQ on the deck....we didn't feel like we were missing a thing.

Process of renting was seamless. House was very well equipped with one exception. Recommend replacing skillets as they stick badly. We would definitely rent this home again.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend with four adults and two children under 4. The home is spacious, well-equipped, well-maintained, and set up for kids - big and small. Pat, the owner, was very gracious and provided us with weather updates and advice since we were there during several snow storms. We have been going to Tahoe Donner every Thanksgiving for years and this home is now number one on our list. Thank you, Pat!

Loved this location and house. Had multiple couples and adults and most other locations had a lot of kids sleeping. This was perfect for us where everyone got their own space with plenty of communal hang outs.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The decor was lovely, kitchen was well stocked. The furniture and beds were top of the line. I would stay there again and would highly recommend.

This is was our second year renting this home. It is a great home for our "kid's camp". The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. The pong pong table kept the older kids entertained with the dorm room large enough for the younger girls to make bracelets. Pat is very quick to respond and is very gracious. We have grands who are allergic to dogs so really appreciate that there are no pets. The driveway is a little intimidating at first, but becomes easier to navigate.Looking forward to our stay next year.

This home is in prime condition in a prime location in Tahoe Donner, near the cross country and downhill skiing. It has plenty of room for a large family, and is attractively decorated. The area around the cabin was a "winter wonderland" and the kids were able to sled and make snowmen. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay- pantry has basics, lots of towels, nice linens & blankets. Owner was very helpful in advance so we were fully prepared when we arrived. Loved our stay here!!

Each year, for the last 9 years, my wife and I have taken our grandchildren for a week to Tahoe Donner. We enjoy the area, not only because of the Tahoe Donner amenities, but also the other things to do around Lake Tahoe. Over that period of time the number of grandchildren has increased which has required us to find larger homes. We have rented at least 8 other homes in Tahoe Donner as well as all over the United States and several in Europe. Without question, this home is the nicest, best appointed home we have ever rented. Pat was very helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. We could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it and look forward to staying there in the future.

We loved our time at this great Tahoe Donner home. It was conveniently located to the lake and to the TD recreation centers. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The bedrooms were very nice and just as represented. The large room with bunk beds, a single and a double was large and perfect for a group of kids. The pool table was fun and the layout of the space was great for our group of 11. Kitchen was very well equipped. Would highly recommend.

We (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 2-8) had a FANTASTIC time! Toys are a plenty! Stocked kitchen and just fabulous. Highly recommend.

The property is well maintained and is exactly as pictured. Very roomy-- beds are super comfy and the kitchen is very efficient. Great response by property owners. You would be very pleased booking this property-- you could not ask for anything more!
