It was a great hiking trip for two girls and two dogs. Hiking, biking and shopping are way through an amazing week in Colorado! The alma house is perfect location to all our plans. The space was amazing

Very comfortable, well-thought out and roomy home for our stay at high altitude to be near the mountains. Close to trails and many places to explore. Hummingbirds and magpies out the front door. Everything you need at the General Store or in nearby Fairplay.

The stay was great! The cabin was nice, well equipped, and clean. The space was also a nice mix of old and new design very aesthetically pleasing! This rental I would refer to any other renter that is looking for a very nice place to stay while also being away from big towns or cities. the location is at the base of a mountain, with many nearby trails and mountain passes.

We loved our stay here. The house was welcoming and very comfortable. The view spectacular. The neighborhood amazing. It seems like everyone talks about the food truck when reviewing this house and it's with good reason. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. But really, it doesn't matter where the house is located. It was beautiful and cozy enough to stay whether it was in the city, country, or mountains

House was easy accessible to family and so clean. It had all we needed. Loved it!

This is a nice, comfortable house in a great little town. I stayed for a month in Alma and skied at many resorts in Colorado. Loved Otto's food truck a block away and hiked and snowshoes in the forest behind the house. The house is well equipped for a short or extended stay. Good parking behind the house. The hosts are nearby and accessible. I hope to come back again.

We took a weekend trip to see the beautiful Fall leaves. This home was the perfect location and perfect amount of space for 4 adults! The house was clean and every thing was as expected from the ad. They even let us bring our 2 small dogs! We will definitely stay here again!

We were in Alma to do the Decalibron loop and the house was perfect for us! Easy checkin with communication from host. The house was very well equipped with anything you might need. Clean and comfy too!

This is a great place and great host. Everything needed is close by: Fly fishing, biking (gravel biking especially), site-seeing via backroads (4x4 recommended), Breckinridge shopping and retail, etc. Highly recommend.

Spectacular property. Communication was excellent with owner, timely and accurate. Otto's food truck right below property. Views amazing. A single serve kuerig would have been nice with just one person. Otherwise, absolutely perfect!

Alma weather was perfect in July. The cabin was comfortable and has everything you need for cooking, relaxing, etc. A very short walk to food trucks, saloon, and country store. We will be back.

Very charming home with all the amenities. Was an excellent home base for our 2 days in the area during our honeymoon. Since it was just my wife and I we didn't use the upstairs loft area during our stay. All the modern updates and easy check in/out.

Jan and Mark were always available and ready to assist with anything. The place was immaculate, well stocked with kitchen accessories, the bedding was super comfortable, WiFi was great quality and hope we can stay again soon!

My husband, nine month old, and two black labs had a great weekend at Jan’s lovely house! We cooked all of our meals as the kitchen was well outfitted and there was a BBQ for grilling.

This is a beautiful little getaway. It is very modern but still has the feel that you are in a mining town. The home was spotless clean and well appointed. The place is fantastic for a home base as you explore the area. It is also within walking distance to the local pub so you can get a burger and a couple of beers without having to get behind the wheel. Very pet friendly. Neighbors were polite. Close to Fairplay and Breckenridge this stay is in the heart of great Colorado county to explore. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The property was great just like the pictures. Close walk to my daughter and her family. Only down side it snowed almost every day lol It does every time I go there. Loved the accommodations.

The house is centrally located in Alma between Fairplay and Breckenridge. There were many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Alma is a sweet town with mercantile, restaurant, and some shopping options. I would highly recommend this house.

Comfortable and quiet home with all of the appropriate essentials for a great week long stay. Entryway was perfectly suited for return from slopes and gear storage. Kitchen well stocked for light home cooking. Jan was quick responding to our couple of questions. Really enjoyed our stay!

The place was very convenient for me because it was pet friendly so I could bring my dog along and it was close to a lot of hiking trails and ski mountains. The place was very nice with more than enough room for just my dog and I. Check in and check out was super easy. Enjoyed myself a lot and would definitely recommend it to others

This is the nicest most beautifully appointed Vrbo I’ve stayed in. Not an architecture expert but I’d call it warm chic industrial. It’s gorgeous and spotless. The beautiful real wood beams and trim, open floor plan, and skylights, all make it an unexpected delightful experience. It’s super quiet. There’s a friendly neighbor golden retriever mix that seemingly owns the block who may pay you a visit or want you to throw his toys to him. The kitchen is also thoughtfully equipped with quality items. Can’t wait to come back. This is an unusually appealing spot. Wake up in the middle of the night and stargaze through the skylight. That was a first for me. The designer and/or architect is brilliant. Alma itself is a bit gritty but that makes things interesting . . Be sure to walk the 300’ to Otto’s food truck for some delectable and friendly greatness.

The pictures are great and accurate, but they can’t capture the feeling of the place. My husband and I thought the place felt very cozy, clean, and it was absolutely gorgeous- better than the pics. Breck is only a twenty minute drive away (which is a beautiful drive). Honestly, couldn’t believe the price for such a great place. On our list to stay again in the future. Thanks to the owners for the accommodation!
