Tom and Kay, our hosts, have created a lovely spot to unplug and soak in the beautiful view and the silence of the valley. Sitting on the deck in the evening was a delight. They have thoughtfully furnished their cabin with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with quality linens and lots of pillows. The kitchen was well stocked. We particularly appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions of places to go and things to do! Helped to make our mini-vacation just what we needed.

We absolutely love this cabin! It was our 2nd visit, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. Marble is a beautiful little town and is like Old Colorado. If you like getting away from everything, you’ll love this place!

My husband and I stayed here while our daughter attended Treasure Mountain Bible Camp. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to get a respite from a very busy summer.
The house is clean and very comfortable. We came prepared with a load of groceries and had all the cooking utensils we needed.
Would definitely recommend!
Thank you so much Tom and Kay for sharing this wonderful spot!

My husband and I wanted to get out of the city and away from the heat. This cabin, the owners and the entire community and experience was above and beyond our expectations. This property is only something to behold in person. That to say that the pictures do not do it justice. We are already talking about our return trip next summer.

This beautiful home in the mountains was way more than we expected!! Marble is such a beautiful little town! Our hosts were so helpful in things to do around the area and attentive to every little detail in the house. The deck overlooking the mountain was our favorite spot to be. If you like to hike there are so many beautiful trails around Marble and surrounding towns. We definitely will be back again.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Tom and Kay are amazing and have really provided a perfect little place for anyone looking to spend some quality quiet time away from the noise most of us experience far too much. I really can’t say enough other than keep this area what it is. It is a clean and quiet community. It is not a place to be obnoxious or be noisy. There are many other places that cater to that!

Meeks Hill Cabin By far one of the best adventures I’ve had since I was a little girl wondering off the grid in Mexico. Dirt roads, no cell phones, and just endless adventures. The fall trees were absolutely beautiful, and the sea of mountains seemed as if you were looking at a painting. I came for solitude, and this place delivered. It felt like home and I can not wait to be back.

This rental home was terrific. It offers a beautiful mountain view and a fenced backyard that is an exploratory delight for dogs. The furnishings and bed were comfortable and we had all we needed and more regarding kitchenware. It is uncommon for us to revisit vacation destinations but we are interested in returning here for a longer stay. The hosts were ideal -- attentive, responsive and knowledgable about the area's offerings.

We loved our stay in Marble
The Meek’s Hill cabin in Marble was just as pictured and described on the VEBO website. Kay and Tom were easily accessible for any questions we had prior to and during our stay. We loved the peacefulness of Marble and the privacy of the property. We saw a fox on the property, many chipmunks, and hummingbirds. I would Definitely recommend this for older adults or a family with no children. We took a day trip to Aspen and Snowmass which was only about one hour away.

Amazing getaway
This property is wonderful. Tom and Kay are the perfect hosts. They made us feel just like family. Their knowledge of the area and the information they provided ahead of our visit made planning so easy. The cabin is spotless and everything one could possibly need is provided. A very secluded, quiet area with amazing views. The front deck with the mountain view, beautiful flower planters and entertaining hummingbirds would be enough in itself. Many activities in the area but our favorite was just enjoying the opportunity to get away and soak in the peace and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit!!

Beyond expectations
We enjoyed our stay as much as anyone could. There was nothing we thought could have been better. Perhaps the best part of all was the quiet peaceful five days we were able to completely relax.

Clean, comfortable cabin in a beautiful spot!
This cabin had everything we needed for a lovely “home base” for our July wildflower viewing vacation. The hosts are very friendly and came to greet us shortly after we arrived. The cabin was clean. We ate most of our meals “in”, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom is very nice with a good shower and a jetted bathtub. Our bed was comfortable.
The front deck is a great place for coffee, meals, or just relaxing. The property is very well kept with flowers, a green grass lawn, some wooden benches, and of course the beautiful tall evergreen trees.
We hope to go back someday!

The Sanctuary We Hoped For
We retreated to this mountain refuge with hope to just sit and revel in the majesty of silence, beauty and no schedule. Our hopes were met. Except for one meal which we ate at the local excellent bbq restaurant, we cooked in and ate out on the deck looking up to Mt. Whitehouse. We read, and listened, and took a couple of easy walks around the quaint town. Yes, it is well located to offer day trips to endless attractions, but we delighted in the comfort of the cabin, its environs, and its natural hospitable presence to simply embrace us in peace. We enjoyed the curious appearance in two of our three evenings of a gray fox couple, the daytime brief flash and dash of a juvenile moose, the meandering of a wild turkey through the property, and the constant companionship of hummingbirds at the deck feeder. It was a wonderful time out of time, and we plan on returning! Bravo, Tom and Kay, and thank you!👏❤️

Perfect Getaway in the Mountains
Tom & Kay's place was idyllic! It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier ski towns and makes for a quiet escape or excellent home base for you to explore. The communication was prompt and thorough - with helpful tips on local dining and hiking. The place was perfectly cozy and well stocked for our stay. The view off the front of the house is straight out of a postcard! Our dog was welcomed and we'd be thrilled to visit again. We are suckers for a gorgeous cruise in the mountains and when literally every direction you turn is a scenic byway, you can't go wrong! Don't miss Slow Groovin' BBQ - it's just a casual stroll down the hill! Thanks for a great weekend.

Beautiful location 30 minute drive to services
This was a beautiful place, in a wonderful location. Very convenient, with friendly and attentive managers. We had some issues with the water heater, but they did all they could to get it fixed.
You are some distance from pretty much any services other than the great local BBQ spot, but if you hit up a grocery store along the way, you have everything you need. Recommend checking out the nearby marble quarry ruins as well as the winery/market "Orchard Valley" in Paonia down the road. Many many beautiful waterfalls in the area this time of year.

Beautiful location and cabin
We loved everything about our stay in Marble, CO.
The cabin was fantastic. So beautiful and comfortable, and the view from the front porch of the snow capped mountain was heavenly. We also loved the town of Marble. Small and quiet, with a rich history (and a great BBQ place and non-profit coffee shop)
We had been on the road for 2 weeks, discovering the SouthWest... New Mexico, Monument Valley, Arches Ntl Park etc. This was a perfect end to our trip. We threw out the anchor, read and enjoyed local hikes. Perfect.

Great view, very clean, and we are pretty sure the floors are heated, which was something new to us Texans. The cabin had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice town. Great BBQ restaurant within walking distance. Highly recommend if you want to get away from crowds and technology and enjoy the Colorado mountains.

Beautiful cabin in Marble
This wonderful cabin is ideal for a retreat. We were welcomed upon our arrival with a lovely note and fresh wildflower bouquet. Remarkable views of Marble's peaks are seen from the cabin's front deck. The cabin's interior is cozy and well-lit; windows (with privacy blinds) are throughout. Enjoyed their comfy reading nook. This property is immaculate with a lovely gas fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. The community's water is refreshing and is monitored for quality. A good selection of games, books and movies are provided as well as key information regarding the property and points of interest. We appreciated the helpful communications with our Hosts Kay and Tom. We look forward to our next stay here to enjoy the quiet beauty of friendly Marble.

Wonderful
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was spotless, decorated well and had all we needed. Kay and Tom were excellent hosts. They came by on our first day for a few minutes to welcome us and then answered every question we had during our stay. The location was just as advertised. We had our own Jeep and drove to Crystal Falls. It was a beautiful drive. . We hiked to see Milton Falls and were impressed. Of course, we eat twice at Slow Grooving BBQ. On Friday night they had live two piece band! We brought our bikes and rode from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs and enjoyed the scenery. The four nights were wonderful getaway. This cabin is on our list to return to. Thank you Tom and Kay for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
