Traveled from Iowa with daughter for a beach vacation. This place was amazing. Beach life at its best. Lots of “people watching” along the boardwalk. Would return just for the location.
Customer service was amazing. The airline moved our flight to 6pm. The staff was able to move the cleaning to a later time so we could enjoy the day at the house instead of the airport. What an amazing gesture. We will be back!

If you’re looking to stay directly on the beach this is the place for you! Awesome location close to shops and restaurants, and literally on the beach. Biking around the bay and on the boardwalk was fantastic, and you can’t beat the evening walks on the beach:) The host was extremely responsive and helpful, we will be back!

This was my first time using Vrbo. I was very impressed with the ease of making a reservation and the communication with the Property Manager. Everything was exactly as depicted on the listing. Great location, Boardwalk and beach access. The unit was very spacious, clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you would need during your stay and then some. Looking forward to going back!

This is our second stay at this property. Excellent location to anything you could possibly want to do while in Mission/Pacific Beach. The home is fully equipped with anything you need. We did not have children with us but noticed plenty of beach toys, a pack play, baby gates, beach chairs/umbrellas etc.
Property management is easy to communicate with and check in and out are very straight forward.
This is a multi-unit home so anticipate neighbors. Ours were a quiet and kind group.
House is pet friendly and we plan to return home nice again.

the time was awesome the weather cooperated till the last day had a fire alarm go off 2 nites out of first three management responded right away and changed the device. only complaint I had. the garage wasn’t capable of holding a car too narrow struggled every note to find a spot on the road some where a distance
then the last two nights some group of young men stayed at the third level and decided to move furniture after midnight. despite all that loved the accommodation great location some maintenance is needed on the doors and trim they squeaked every time

Property was great and met our needs perfectly. Loved being right on the beach for the incredible sunsets. Walking distance to Belmont Park for treats, fun, dinner was perfect. Loved the bikes, beach chairs, boogy boards, beach towels, sand toys, balls. Our youngest was 11, a teen, a college kid. & grandparents all had a wonderful time. With careful skill, we used the garage for parking our mini van (backing in, folding in the mirrors) which was preferred over searching for street parking. Appreciated laundry on site too!

Great property. Enjoyed picture windows watching record breaking waves. Nice family room and kitchen and large bedrooms. Loved having bikes and beach chairs and toys in garage. Minor issues addressed immediately.

This property was everything we wanted! The view is breath taking. Everything was clean and well stocked. The bikes, boogie boards, toys, games were such a great amenity. We rode bikes up and down the board walk. The area was quite and very relaxing. We had two teenagers with us and they had a blast. Nina was so responsive and great to work with.

Our family of 5 stayed for Thanksgiving (mom, dad, and three sons--17, 20, 22). The location can't be beat. Right on the ocean & boardwalk and sunsets every night. Close to airport and all major attractions. Tired of walking on the beach?, head over to the bay just a short walk away. Kitchen and lower level updated and very comfortable, the upper level bedrooms/bathrooms felt a bit tired. Cleanliness received a 3 out of 5 bc there was some dust in the bedrooms and just a bit of overall grime of wear and tear. We had a wonderful time.

Everything was as advertised. Weekends get a bit loud but we wanted to be right in the beach so noise comes with the location. Walked to some fun dinner and breakfast locations. Garage is as tight as the other commenters mentioned so we tended to park on the streets. Always close by. Nina was very attentive. I would stay here again.

Overall great location. We could not ask for a better location. There are some needs in this rental from kitchen utensils (peeler needs to be replaced for one and knives are dull for another) to bedroom sliding doors not working. Thank you Nina for being a great host!

The condo is as described!! You’re 10 feet across Ocean Front Walk from the Pacific Beach Sand! The management of the condo is superb, we arrived the day before Hurricane Hillary was due to arrive we had some what if questions and they were answered with complete cooperation. We enjoyed our stay

The place was perfect for our family. Extra bikes, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs. Property was nice and clean. Nina was prompt to answer. We will definitely stay again. The little personal touches in the condo make a difference.

Great area, and great rental. My family loved being right on the beach. We had a lot of fun and were thankful that they provided so many helpful beach toys and supplies as well. They left us a welcome basket which after traveling with two kids and so much was so nice. The condo was clean and wonderful. There were excellent ocean views and working with the property manager was great (she was very helpful).

Nestled between downtown and restaurants, this condo is perfectly located in the quiet space in between. The ocean steps is away from the front porch and views from two levels a family and I had an amazing time staying here. Our favorite time of each day was when we came back to the house just to hang out, play on beach and Boogie board. House was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in San Diego.

We reserved this beach house for a long weekend stay with friends, and we can't recommend it highly enough. Stellar location, clean, nicely updated and furnished, great beds, with everything you need for a fun and relaxing time at the beach. And just as important, property manager was super responsive, professional and friendly! One thing to pay attention to are the property notes about the garage - as noted, it will accommodate one small car. We parked our sedan inside with some effort when we arrived, and then mostly Lyft-ed our way around the city.

My wife and I celebrated our 29th Anniversary at the property. We're locals and grew up in PB/MB so we know the area very well. Having said that, we had a great stay. The weather was chilly but we still walked to the local restaurants and stuff. We definitely will be back and will share the place with our friends for future stays. Having the surf and sand right out our front door was amazing.

3 sisters, all over 60. Loved our week visit in February. Likely this place would be too rowdy for us during peak summer season. The mission bay side is quieter. We didn't wanna go home.

Pros: You can’t beat the location of this condo! You are literally right on the boardwalk which is amazing for sunsets/people watching. I had a bit of trouble receiving the check in information but I called Nina and she was very responsive and got me the info right away.
Cons: the 2 full beds were not comfortable and need to be replaced. (Beds sagged, creaked, etc.) There was a ton of rust on things that could have been cleaned or easily replaced (curtain and curtain rod in the master bedroom). You expect rust because it’s the beach but simple fixes like using pvc or replacing rods/curtains more frequently) would mitigate some of it. Overall I think the location and responsiveness of the host made up for some of the smaller “cons” with the stay.

We loved the location of this property! Right on the waterfront. Walking distance to shops, food, and Belmont Park. I used the complimentary beach bike several times for cruising the boardwalk and quick trips to the grocery store. We spent most of our time either on the patio or looking out the large living room windows at the boardwalk and ocean. Loved the second story balcony off the master bedroom! The king in the master bedroom was nice and comfortable. I personally liked leaving the slider cracked a bit to listen to the ocean. The queen in bedroom 2 was ok, but the two full beds in bedroom 3 were horrible. The mattresses were quite old and creaked and moaned in protest with the slightest bit of pressure. Luckily two teenagers used those beds:) The kitchen had everything we needed. We were glad there was a Keurig, because we tried to use the coffee maker the first morning with bad results. There were things that could use a little love, but overall it was a nice stay. I would probably go back just because of the location.

We had a beautiful time while staying at this property right on Mission Beach. The house was comfortable, had everything we needed and was a hop, skip and a jump from the beach. I can’t wait to go back!

Great Property. Highly recommended!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely note and a welcome basket. The bedrooms were perfect for our family. The location could not have been any better. I would recommend this place. A few cons that I felt that I needed to take away a star.
Wished there were cleaning products to help keep the place sanitized. A few days were warmer than expected - (the additional fans could have been cleaned. They were super rusted.)
The bath towels needed replacing.
Overall, we would consider this place again. Communication was 5star. Very professional and friendly. Thank you Nina and Cheryl.

Absolutely Wonderful!
Everything about this property is 5 stars! The communication was excellent, it was very clean, the kitchen is fully stocked for all needs including spices, the beds are comfortable, the view is outstanding, and the snacks and drinks that were provided complimentary were such a nice touch. I tend to bring a lot from home when renting VRBO's but this time I didn't need to use any of what I brought. There was shampoo, conditioner, and plenty of paper products. We had such a great time celebrating our daughter's college graduation and we will definitely be back and rent this property again.

San Diego visit
This property was nice and spacious for our family of five. You can hear the ocean from each bedroom and the view of the beach and sunset from the master bedroom is spectacular! We had everything we needed in this excellent Mission Beach location! The kitchen was well stocked there was beach gear including cooler, chairs umbrella and beach cruiser bikes. We were allowed to have our dog with us as well for a fee which was much appreciated! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

On the Beach
What a great property! Comfortable, clean, exactly what the doctor ordered. If it was any closer to the beach you’d be in the water. Nina was responsive and informative. Overall a great experience, will definitely be back!

Greta place and location
Everything was as good as could be expected. Very happy with our stay.
The only complaint, which is minor, is the combo locks on the doors were not working well and the back door could not be bolted closed as the strike was bent.

Perfect Location
Our family was delighted with this rental and would absolutely stay here again in the future. Nina was so accommodating and gave us an early check-in and a late check out. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The proximity to Belmont Park was perfect for the kids. The people watching and sunsets were spectacular. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
