This property has absolutely stunning views and beautiful landscaping. It is a bit of a descent to the beach but well worth it. This was the cleanest beach I have ever visited. The home is well appointed and quite comfy.

This is our second year coming to stay at this lovely beach front house. The kids spend hours playing with crabs at the beach, and the loft playroom is a great place for them to hang out. We love this new tradition!

We had two families stay here together and everyone loved it. We watched bald eagles pull fish out of the Sound behind the house and had seals popping their heads out of the water while we were playing with crabs at low tide. Clean, well appointed, incredible views.
Can’t wait to stay again.

The pictures of the backyard pics don't do it justice, it's exceedingly better than the pictures online. Beds are comfy, lots of blankets and bathroom well stocked with essentials. Besides some cereal found on ground & moldy bread found in drawer it was clean. The wifi/internet was not working but found an older password in a dated welcome book & that worked. Owner even came by to take a look at the issue as we did have people in our group who had to work & needed a working wifi. Not sure if the issue was resolved or not. Sleeps 11 but we had plenty of room with the 8 staying. The deck, the backyard grass/landscape and the water/beach access really made the property stand out. It was a beautiful view. I would add to their ammenties good sized grassed back lawn and that it's a traditional coffee pot and not a Keurig. Also, where the beach towels are located would be helpful as they were not in the spot noted. It was a pricey place but the beach access, views, deck & backyard made up for it.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Clean, amazingly well stocked with more than we could have needed, cozy and comfortable beds and bedding, and the perfect location with spectacular views. Just perfect for our family Thanksgiving celebration!!

Very much worth the long drive from Tacoma, Olympia and Seattle. The house is gorgeous, very clean, with every amenity provided. The kitchen really DOES have everything you would need to put together any dish. The views from the yard and every window of the house are stunning. It was very hard to leave. Thank you!!

An amazing property, great view, awesome experience. Glad we didn't bring our little kids because of the nice things around the house that could have been broken. Did I mention the view?

We had our elderly parents with us along with siblings, spouses and grandchildren.
- Plenty of room, very spacious.
- Easy checkin.
- Lots of deck and backyard space and ocean view from all but 1 bedroom.
- Master bedroom with on suite bathroom was senior friendly. Perfect for elderly parents.
- Other than the BBQ, place was very clean and tidy.
- Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of dishes, pans, pots and lot more!!
- Host was very responsive. BBQ had no gas. Messaged owner and got a full gas tank within 15m.
Entire family was very pleased with our stay.

We had a a great time - the house had everything we needed, with the best views! We saw whales twice, dolphins, seals, and submarines!
The kids loved the game room, complete with a wii and a good assortment of board games. We will be back!!

This is such a glorious place to stay with family. Plenty of space for privacy and plenty of space for gathering together. We had people from across the country as well as from the state of of Washington and we had 4 generations of people from an 18 month old, up to baby's great grandpa 89 years old. We had a wonderful time with the great kitchen, the spectacular view and high class comfort of the home. Will be back to share the treasures of Lummi island and the home with our family again. Thank you.

This is a wonderful rental if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The house is beautifully appointed and outfitted with anything and everything you could possibly need. The view is stunning. We never saw any deer but woke up New Year's morning to 20-30 sheep grazing in the yard!

I was on the island with my daughter and her husband as well as my sister, my niece, and my nephew. for my son’s wedding. We also had my daughter’s children—(6 and 9) and my niece’s children (5 and 8). We immediately felt at home and had everything we needed. All ten of us had comfortable beds and plenty of space. The setting is lovely and the house is beautifully maintained. It was hard to leave, but I will carry it with me for a long time.

The house is stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice and the view….breathtaking!!! There were 8 adults and more than enough room for everyone without feeling cramped. The only thing I warn for anyone how has issues with steps, there are 70 steep steps down to the beach not shown in the pictures. But if you have no issues with stairs don’t let this deter you, the view at sunset is worth it!

Home is well equipped and stocked with needed stuff for cooking and dining, showers. Beach is nice once you get past the rocks. Kids and parents had fun. Quiet. Magnificent sunsets.

Spacious and well equipped home with gorgeous views in tranquil setting. We were 2 small families (4 adults + 3 kids ages 2,5,6).
First time to Lummi Island and in many ways more convenient than our prior trips to the San Juan’s. The value was superb for the views, overall living space, and quality of kitchen appliances.
Host was very responsive to the few needs/issues we had (extra garbage bags, accidentally locked bedroom).
A few heads up for those considering booking
-the beach access is down a lot of steep stairs (they are in good condition but would have been daunting for some)
-we found the beach to be quite rocky even during low tide… So great for our kayaks but not so much for hanging out particularly with young children. Short drive to sandier Sunset Beach solved this on both days :)
-the yard is beautiful but not fully fenced, meaning our rambunctious toddler often ran into the neighbors yards and We had to stay close when he ran close to the Cliff edge which is landscaped but again not secure)

Lummi Island incredible beachfront house
“Better than the photos” described by another guest fits this house perfectly. Spotless, well equipped with original paintings and pottery. Right on the beach with western view to the islands, great crabbing. Bring your sea kayak. Stay as many nights as you can. Plan to cook and bring all supplies with you, although pantry is well stocked if you forgot anything.

Reunion and Reconnecting
This is a splendid home nestled on the shores of Lummi Island. It is exquisitely well appointed with lovely kitchen cooking space, top of the line appliances, Barbecue on the deck, patio furniture with capacity to gather all around the table. On the walls are very well done paintings of many destinations in the world celebrating diversity and grace of human connections. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for grown up relatives and they even had portable baby crib for napping for our 7 month old grand son who came for picnic on the deck with all his aunts and uncles and grandparents accompanied by his parents on Saturday. We saw eagles, seals, hawks, deer, and heard many birds singing in the morning light. Some of our party hiked the island and discovered much of the flora and fauna around Lummi Island. It was a pure gift to be able to gather for our reunion and reconnection of family from Arizona, California, Nebraska and Seattle. THANK YOU!!

outstanding stay
The stay was outstanding. we had 10 people of all ages. and the kitchen was well equiped. and endless fireplace . Lawn and beach was great the 70 stairs to the beach was a bit much. but helped keep the pounds off. Would have been nice if the jet tub worked . Make it a good day Mike

Orca Whales!
What a beautiful getaway the Lummi Beach Haven was for us. On one evening of our stay we saw movement in the water and thanks to the spotting scope provided we were able to watch a pod of orca whales dance in the water. We felt right at home in this beautiful haven. The cupboards were well stocked and all other amenities well supplied.

A perfect escape
Looked for a place near Bellingham and found this gem. Grandparents, parents and teens all loved our waterfront escape. Here’s hoping we can return for a longer stay sometime.

Wonderful in every way
Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect. The home is so well equipped and clearly the hosts have been doing this for a long time and know how to ensure guests will feel at home. Wide hallways, wide doors, and lack of thresholds on the main floor mean that even guests with mobility/accessibility concerns will feel taken care of. We will absolutely be recommending this home to our friends.

Lummi island beach haven
Property was ready and clean and spacious and enough room for 9 adults to cook and visit and relax without feeling crowded.Best feature for my family because of the lovely summer weather was the outdoor deck where we watched eagles fly low over beach deer in the yard and abundant sunshine, cool breezes, and boats on Rosario Strait.

The most amazing was the kitchen space and available tools. another item our group that came from Boston, Houston and Tacoma stated...'the VRBO photos do not do justice to the beauty of the property and it's location'.it is extremely comfortable and completely stocked. Well taken care of! Palko

We had family coming from across the country to enjoy this home. Check in was seamless as was check out. Communication with the team was quick and helpful. My daughter said it best when she said that she could tell this was a well loved home. It has everything you could possibly need —so the blender, griddle, extra silverware, extra towels etc I brought that would have been required elsewhere stayed in the trunk! There is plenty of seating, inside and out to enjoy the fabulous views. The lawn is expansive for games and the gardens are well tended to and enhance the space. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and want to thank the hosts for such a lovely time.
