We really enjoyed our stay...we were getting together with seven long time friends. The home was clean, and inviting. The decor was really well done. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Communication with the host was excellent and he was available for any questions that we has. We will be back.

We rented this home for our bridal party for our wedding weekend, and it was PERFECT! The owner, Anders was extemely prompt and helpful with all questions, via text and vrbo messaging. The basement of this home is AMAZING! Very spacious for the entire bridal party, partners, and children. It's got a fun, rocker vibe - so nicely decorated. The wide open living/dining/kitchen area made it easy for all to be together whether eating, lounging, or playing games. Would recommend this home again and again!

The property, location and host were all great. The host communication was excellent. The house was clean, in a great location and we had so much fun! We're already looking to come back next year.

What a beautiful well maintained property and wonderful owners to work with! They had an informative binder full of instructions for the property and local ‘to do’s’, restaurants and menus. Plenty of space, large kitchen, lovely front porch to sit on and the house was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for the weekend but we had 3 generations of family and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. Everything you need was provided. Tons of board games and entertainment for all. Karaoke stage, arcade game, and pool table in the basement was a huge hit for both young and old. Everything was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return next year.

Group of 10 high school grads with two chaperones and 2 younger siblings :) Everything was absolutely amazing from location , to space , to responsiveness of owner , etc etc. Location is walking distance to Michigan lake beach -- older kids used bikes daily - even did and 8 mile trek to cross into Michigan via bike. Golf cart was handy as well. Parking is good for two Small/medium cars , if more cars get the $5 pass and park in overflow ( easy walk back to house). We used the fire pit and grilled . The $15 arm bands are well worth it but be sure to reserve your time for tennis courts because they go fast !! ( pickle ball was 24/7 there). We all hd fun with karaoke machine !!! I am already talking with family about staying in this house for a multi family trip !! TONS OF GAMES IN THE HOUSE !!! Highly recommend!! **Oh --- the Jenga game I house ,, some previous guests hd a little fun I'm assuming so that's not kid friendly anymore --it's rated R. Our older kids got a giggle out of it though ;0)

Our stay included grandmas, children, and grandchildren and there was something for everyone. We loved the golf cart and wagon to help transport things to the beach (which was a short walk away). We also took advantage of the pool, ping pong, kayaks, and paddleboats. The house was first rate and the karaoke stage proved a hit with young and old. Not flashy but the stock at the house (paper towels, tp, towels, blankets, etc) was top notch. Impressed the house didn’t have any stray sand!! The only negative would be the house (while clean and nice-smelling), the floors must have had ground-in dirt that turned our little ones' feet black. But not enough to deter a stay at this property again. We're already talking about coming back. We LOVED the house and the Beachwalk area. Thanks for the hospitality.

The online, check-in, and check-out process was very smooth. The owner was very nice, friendly, accommodating and helpful with all questions and concerns. The property is exactly as advertised and very beautiful. The amenities are excellent and it felt just like home! Our favorite part of the property was the basement entertainment area. We literally spent HOURS doing karaoke! Not even the cold and rainy weather put a damper on our celebration. There was only one thing that needs improvement...the mattresses in all, except one bedroom, need to be replaced. They were not comfortable. However, it was an overall EXCELLENT experience and we will definitely be back!

This house has everything you NEED & WANT. Every inch of the house was well thought out. Enjoyed a bachelor party here with 12 Men. All 3 floors of the house and yard space serves a purpose. At no point did we fill we didn’t have space. The art work and kitchen was on point, The golf kart and bikes were also fun. Definitely will love to come back again. Thanks for hosting us.

We stayed with our extended family for a long weekend. The house was beautiful and well kept. This was thr most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen! We traveled with infants so the floors looked clean but also showed the dirt as our littles crawled all over the floor and turned brown. But otherwise house was super clean. The neighborhood was great but we were a little surprised at the number and closeness of the homes in the beachfront community. It was lovely to be so close to the beach and downtown. If I could change anything I would highly recommend upgrading the beds. They were definitely not up to par with the rest of the home. But overall a beautiful home and community! Owner was also super responsive and friendly!

See comments regarding Vahalla for same time period. Good kitchen and sofa chair arrangements. Sleeping be flexible with adults and different family members. Great karaoke and golf carts fun and useful. Parking for more than 3 cars a squeeze. Get passes to park i. Iverflow lot. Go to Al's supermarket and cvs on us 12. Much closer than across town.

Our family really enjoyed staying in this house. The Karaoke was unexpected great fun. Really needed air matresses for our group, not quite enough beds for us.

We love the Beachwalk neighborhood. East of the Sun was a great home to stay while enjoying the area. The karaoke in the basement was a hit with our family, especially on a rainy day. We would definitely stay at this home again. Thank you Anders!

We spent 3 nights in this gorgeous house which is laid out beautifully with spacious kitchen, dining, and living room. It is the cleanest rental that we have EVER stayed in. Karaoke, arcade game, and pool table in the basement. There was so much for the kids to do, with only minutes to the beach, swimming pool (complete with kiddie pool and splash pad), and a nearby kids park. We used the golf cart and bikes that were available. This house is nestled back in a quiet area. I really can’t recommend it enough. The hosts are amazing and available for any questions or needs. We wish we could have stayed longer, but look forward to going back again in the future. Highly recommend!!!

On sunny days you have the pool, beach, kayaking, bicycling, etc., and if it rains, there are movies, video games, books, pool table, karaoke, and more. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their separate activities, with a nice large kitchen and eating area to gather for family meals. I would highly recommend this property.

You will be delighted and feel welcomed when you arrive. Full stocked kitchen, games, sporting equipment, bikes, books, firepit, wagon, golf cart, clean and comfortable beds and then there’s the basement. Pool table, sofas, artwork, Pac-Man and karaoke stage! Don’t miss this opportunity.

No real problems. Never got to use the property to its full potential because was just using it as a place to sleep for my daughter’s wedding. Seemed to be great place for kids and family. Lots of neat things to do in the basement. Use of a golf cart is a must at this location which this house had.

Enjoy our stay again this year. Anders is a great host and an excellent communicator. This house is in an excellent location and the house has lots of indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. The community is very friendly and always has something fun going on. We appreciated the pool table and music collection on our rain day. I highly recommend this vacation home for large groups.

Beautiful, clean home that has all the bells and whistles. The owners are incredibly responsive, and checking in was flawless. This was our second time staying at this home, but it won’t be our last.

The host and the house were fantastic. The home was better than the pictures. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out and be comfortable. The karaoke setup was a huge hit with teenage girls. We've been visiting around Michigan City for years and were never aware of this gem of a neighborhood.
