We all loved the retro seventies decor! The air conditioning was superb for the hot summer days. It is roomy and really clean. The host is super!

We found it was a great location, with so many things nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and the only people we did come across were very friendly. The host was very accessible to us in the event we might have needed anything. We were very happy there. It was a great vacation! Thank you.

It was great staying in the home very retro which was much walking into grandma's house brought up great memories.house was very clean and stocked with pretty much everything for a great stay. The host was excellent and was available if any questions. made us feel very welcome .definitely stay there again.thereagain

This is very accommodating for families traveling with kids, plenty of space for us all. The location was perfect for us to explore all the areas we wanted including going up to Lake Tahoe the drive was not bad!! We will definitely return to the Humble Abode

Very clean and comfortable. It was like visiting your favorite auntie. Perfect kitchen with all the tools you need for anything. Quiet location but still close to casinos. Lots of space. Dining area has built in cabinets. Very well equipped and very experienced at hosting. Wonderful communication and like a visit back to a simpler time. We had a great time and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you.

We fell in love with property. Easily accessible, close to everything. A few modern ammenities with the classic 1970s charm. Beds are super comfortable and love the covered porch. Highly recommend to all visiting the area.

The perfect place to stay for our trip to see Lake Tahoe! The house was immaculate and we loved the 70's theme. The host had treats for us when we arrived and checked in on us during our stay. My husband and I traveled with our son and 3 of his friends and we had lots of space to sleep and hang out. The front porch area is great too! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The home was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. Notes around the house helped us know how to use all appliances and features. The 60s/70s decor was a real treat for everyone. Communication with the owner was excellent.

If I could give 100 stars I would. I know what I booked, a double wide that never left the 70’s but little did I know how much I’d fall in love with this place. Randee was beyond helpful with everything from getting me booked, check in and even reached out to see how the stay is going. Let me tell you, this please is immaculately CLEAN! Have never felt more at home than here, swear by that. This will definitely be a frequent stay of mine. Thanks Randee for sharing your wonderful place and being an amazing host!

This home was like an Austin powers adventure. Everything was true to the 70’s and everything was clean and worked like it was new. The host were awesome and even had cookies for us waiting. Great experience and at a great price, what a fun time we had.

We love to stay at this time capsule every time we come to the Carson area. Huge yard for our 2 dogs to enjoy and minutes away from so many things to do. Home is well equipped with everything you need to have a great stay. Randee is an amazing host!!

The place was awesome and well kept. We loved the old school vibe that the place was giving and super clean. There are instructions everywhere and signs so finding stuff is very easy. The host is very responsive as well, making sure you have everything you need. Oh by the way, there was also free cupcakes for every guests which was very delicious! Would definitely stay there again.

This is our second stay and love this place. Its retro 70s but has everything you need. Close to shops etc. In a very quiet area so you have peace and can really relax. Love it sooooo much will be our go to for a little staycation relaxation

This was the perfect place for four sisters who grew up separately during the 70's. We wanted a place we could share our individual 70's experiences with each other. Everywhere we looked there was something that reminded us of a story, we discovered each other on ancestory.com!

I can't Thank Randee enough for providing such a fun place to stay!! When I travel with the family, I always look for fun and unique themed places to stay. My family and I absolutely loved our stay! Our two teenage boys, 15 and 17, loved the 70's/80's retro theme. The fact that they could kind of experience a little of what my husband and I did as kids, was a neat experience for them. Like watching an 80's movie on VHS on a cabinet style tv. My husband and I felt very comfortable while staying there.

What a joy it was for us to stay in this authentic 70s era home. Randee is a wonderful hostess and truly made us feel welcome. The home is clean and provides everything necessary for a short or extended stay. We will definitely be staying again.

We needed a place to stay for appointments in town, but had no idea what a treat we were getting! It was very affordable, especially considering everything you get for your money. It’s a whole fully furnished house with lots of room! Washer and dryer with free laundry supplies, free coffee and supplies, and all dishes, utensils, and appliances you could possibly need. The pictures just don’t do it justice with how much space there is.
If I had to find one flaw, it would be that a neighbor on the corner has too man cars parked on the street. But I understand Randee doesn’t have any control over that. Also, even with that, this older neighborhood is very quiet and safe and this rental property has so much available space to park, it didn’t affect us at all.
Randee was very sweet and good at communicating with us. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
I felt very nostalgic waking into this amazingly clean house with all the harvest gold appliances and retro decor. It felt like being at my grandparents’s house again. We will definitely be staying here again soon!

This was our second visit to this unique property. It’s so fun to be in this 70s, orange and gold shag, super well-maintained place. Everything important, like beds and smart tv’s in the bedrooms are updated. But the ambience is all 70s. The owner and the local manager are both a delight to connect with. 5 stars all the way!

This is a fun rental. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the 70's vibe, it took us back in time! The owner is great, and the communication with her was awesome. The pictures don’t do justice for this beautiful house. My family and I were shocked to see how big and beautiful this place was. Super unique place. Randee was easy to communicate with and they even left a bowl of donuts for us to enjoy.

My family and I loved the Humble Abode. It was cozy, clean, and spacious. We loved the 70's theme. Everything worked as expected. The home was well-stocked for cooking. There were lots of towels, games, videos, and plenty of beds. Communicating with Randee was easy. She was a fabulous host. We had a great time.

This property is cute and quaint. The nostalgia of this home brought back memories. Seeing old VHS movies, cassette player, to corning ware reminded us of grandma's house.
This property is located close to downtown Carson and the freeway. Easy to get around.
Randee is amazing! She ensured our stay was comfortable, and she made sure we had everything. The check-in process was easy. Lots of communication. Randee made us feel like part of the family!

We came to the area to visit with family and this property was centrally located to everyone. The house is exactly as described and we loved it. The neighborhood was quiet in general (some road noise from the highways, but not bad). We felt safe and secure and comfortable. Very close to main roads for easy access to wherever you wanted to go. It was my birthday weekend and there were sweets, cards, and a happy birthday banner for me upon our arrival! How sweet is that?! Randee was amazing to work with before, during, and after our stay. We had our dog with us and it was great to have a fenced yard to keep her safe and secure. If you think this rental will work for you, I 100% recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again. Loved it.

The home was exactly how it's listed; grandma's home. Out host, Randee was very easy to communicate with and had the place nicely clean and organized!! A wonderful experience!

This is a comfortable place for both people and dogs. Spotless inside and well equipped with little notes on how to use everything so all questions answered on the spot! Host is terrific - promptly responds to all inquiries and very helpful. Fenced yard for the dogs a real plus!
