Our family of 5 adults had lots of space in this home and would highly recommend it. Has everything you need, including a fully stocked kitchen. Location is a close drive to most everything in town and the view of the bay is amazing. Patty was a great host and very accommodating.

The house is exquisite, it literally looks like a museum of beautiful Native Alaskan artwork, both historic and somewhat modern, artworks and sculptures from worldly travel, and fine furniture pieces, both old and new that have been collected and placed throughout the house.
There is a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, chock full of very high end kitchen appliances and utensils, as well as very nice plates, utensils and glassware. It could not be nicer!
That is the plus side; for the opposite point of view, if you intend to bring a family or two of exuberant kids or active sportspeople, stay away unless you’re prepared to tiptoe around trying to not break anything or keep things spotless. There seem to be no end to the rules posted on the whiteboard in the kitchen, written in multiple pages in a binder in the dining area, and in post-it notes placed throughout the house. Don’t get me wrong, if that’s your cup of tea, as I said, it could not be nicer, seriously. But if you’re what I imagine to be the typical visitor to the Halibut Fishingaway Capital of the World, with all the various outdoor sporting activities, you’re better passing this one by.

Wonderful spot in Homer. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a few night stay. Loved the space and multiple bedrooms/beds for a group of friends. It's a short distance to town and overall a lovely spot to stay!

Patty was a great host. Everything we needed was in the house. Modern appliances, comfortable clean bedding, comfortable clean bathrooms. Plenty of furniture and amenities. The views were stunning. Very easy as a homebase for a vacation in Homer. Six guys on a fishing trip and adventure trip it was the perfect house. Awesome host.

We stayed here as a large extended family for a wedding and we loved our accommodations! The house is pleasant with plenty of space and killer views. The kids loved playing in the beautiful yard. We especially appreciated the abundance of kitchen tools and ingredients, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. Plenty of towels, etc. are provided as well - anything you could need to be comfortable! Patty is an excellent communicator and both check-in and -out were smooth and easy. Thank you Patty for your gracious hospitality to us! We know where we're staying if we come back!

We also noticed that the house was exceptionally well equipped for any kind of cooking needs we had. All the spices you would want all the pots pans are there in the refrigerator is stocked with items that are essential for everyday needs. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Homer you're going to love this property. Highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

Patty, the owner, is great at communicating. She gave excellent directions to the house and clear instructions about how to use various items in the house. We greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay in August. The house was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare several simple meals. The location was a short drive from town up on a hill, and we enjoyed the view and the flowers in the yard. We enjoyed driving down to the Homer spit and eating excellent grilled halibut at Captain Patty's Seafood restaurant. We also enjoyed visiting the Pratt art, cultural and natural sciences museum in Homer.

Loved our stay on Rosebud Court. The home was perfect for our needs with 5 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. The kitchen was very well stocked with a variety of spices, flour, sugar, etc. in the pantry. It had plenty of pots and pans and even had SHARP knives.
We loved the view. In fact, some of our party practically never left the front yard. The house is very well located to get to the spit and several great restaurants.

View was awesome, even when it was foggy. Two cranes were in the yard every afternoon/evening. Host was there if needed, otherwise made it seem like you were all alone, which is what we prefer. Nice, clean house with everything you need to cook in the big kitchen. Comfortable beds, nice water pressure. Would happily stay again!

Great location. Two restaurants within a few minute walk. Blue Hen has great breakfast and St Augustine Fish Camp had great food. Cute neighborhood. Nice having off street parking too.

Beautiful stay and property; not completely private
The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. We definitely enjoyed the view and our evening fires both indoor and out. We were surprised that the owner lives on the premises (in an apartment attached to the garage) as this was not mentioned anywhere in the listing (was only disclosed the day before arrival in the check in instructions). Patty is pleasant and accommodating but at times we were expecting a bit more privacy, such as an entire afternoon that we were home and yard work was being conducted close to the house and all around the yard. In addition, the angle of the outdoor photos make the fire pit yard appear totally private while in fact another home overlooks it. Don't worry, the view of the bay and mountains is stunning and it is a very relaxing and inspiring place to stay but just thought I would note this information for future renters so they can be prepared.

Beautiful view and gardens
My extended family of 9, from teenagers on up, loved staying in this lovely home during our days in Homer. We enjoyed mountain view across the bay, Patty’s colorful flower gardens, the fire pit, and the comfortable beds. We picked raspberries and strawberries from the gardens and watched 2 baby moose and 2 Sandhills cranes wander across the lawn. Perfect home base for our Homer hikes and excursions.

Patty was a wonderful host, and her house is beautiful. It is fully stocked with everything you could need. And the view was spectacular! We made use of the grill for the fresh caught halibut, and sat outside taking in the view.

Lovely place
Beautiful place, owner had everything you could possibly need on site and kept supplies well stocked. Was very friendly and helpful with questions and sights around the area. She even brought us extra chairs and tables for a family BBQ that we hosted. One thing is that she stays on the property in the garage and I don't recall seeing that on the listing, but she was no way intrusive and we hardly knew she was there. I would definitely recommend this property if you are traveling to Homer.

Amazing view / spacious home
This is a great property, tons of space and a great view of the bay. We were in Homer on a family trip and had four adults and three children in this house and had a ton of room. Patty supplied everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication was great. This house is in a quiet neighborhood just a quick drive from the spit.
