Could not access property even after contacting owner. No real AC. Property was dirty. Racoon caught in trap in front of kitchen. Seating for only 4 people in kitchen. Not worth the price. Find somewhere else.

We were thrilled with this house. The location is just outside Falmouth so you're close enough to the town and ferry. Great recommendations with the lobster place up the street. First impression, walked in and it smelled amazingly clean. We were instantly pleased. Big, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. A huge living room area. The Bluetooth in the kitchen was an added touch. Bathrooms were clean and big, one newer than the other. Though we didn't hang outside much, there is a little deck. The owner was very responsive and quick with replies. Overall, highly satisfied.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Close to beaches and the canal walk. House was clean and beds were very comfy. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Matt was very responsive and we appreciated being able to drop off our cars and gear early on check in day. Thank you

A few girlfriends and I rent this property to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Everything was very clean, and Matthew was very responsive to all our questions. The location was great, we would definitely go back!

I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was one of my worst experiences. The owner/property manager communicated poorly, which was extremely frustrating. His response time was slow, and when he did finally respond he was not hospitable. We received no check-in instructions until a few hours before arrival (and I had to message him to request it), he provided no check-out instructions (and, again, I had to message him to request it). The home was not cleaned well. To be specific, the comforter on the downstairs bed had, what appeared to be, some type of human fluid on it. And the pillow covering on the upstairs bed had some type of dried liquid on it as well. We had to wash the bedding prior to sleeping in the beds. There was, what appeared to be, a large booger on the side of the kitchen table, and handprint and smudges all over the walls. Closets were filthy and filled with junk. The front yard had bags of trash piled by the curb; it smelled and animals got into it. If good communication and cleanliness is important to you, I would not recommend this home. Renting these homes is expensive, and owners/property managers of these properties need to understand that by listing their home, they are agreeing to enter the service industry, and with that comes the responsibility and expectation to ensure that guests receive great service and an excellent experience.

I stayed in the house of Matthew for 3 days, and it was very pleasant. To every question I had regarding the house (WiFi, process of returning the house...) Matthew always replied within 5min. I recommend this place!

One of the cleanest place I have ever rented. We rented the place for a weekend to attend the wedding at country club which was only 10 mins away. Rooms are big and spacious. Our experience as group was great. Would definently rent it again.

This was a perfect spot for part of our Pan-Mass Challenge cycling team to spend Saturday night. Comfortable beds, A/C, room to relax, and importantly, on the other side of the Bourne bridge from MMA, and very close to the canal for the start of Sunday's ride. Matthew was terrific and incredibly responsive to all our questions. I highly recommend his place!

We stayed at the house while we were in town for a softball tournament for my daughter. The house was very accommodating to the field and local beaches. I know some reviews mention the train, the train is very close but it hardly runs. Although the house looks small on the outside it was plenty big enough for 3 families and nicely renovated. Beds were comfortable. The only downfall was no toaster and it needs more utensils. I Would highly recommend this house. Thanks for the hospitality.

This was the perfect house for our group of 10 going to a wedding nearby. The interior was nice and clean. All of the necessities were there. Beds were nice and comfortable. We loved the California King! One room had no working light, and there was some trash scattered on the front lawn by an animal or trash collector, but no big issues otherwise. We appreciated the air conditioning!

We had a wonderful time staying here for our vacation. We had a large group, and there was more than enough room for all of us. The deck and backyard allowed us to spend relaxation time there.

the house owner did not respond to any of our numerous attempts (and those of VRBO) to contact him and we therefore for actually unclear until the very end whether hand-over was going to happen (we only received the hand-over information on the day our rent begun). The sheets were not clean and we had to wash the bed closing upon our arrival. We were a party of twelve people and while there were enough beds, the kitchen could only seat 8 people so we were not really able to eat at home. The gas for the grill was empty and was not replaced despite several requests vis-à-vis the landlord. All in all not we expected for that price.

Our family of 9 enjoyed this home to have as our 'base camp' for a family reunion event held in the area. It had all the comforts of home, very clean, very comfortable place - the beds too! Nice linens and towels. It had good parking, good location and easy access. Never ran out of hot showers, good a/c for hot and humid weather. We enjoyed the easy 3 minute walk to the canal pathway for a morning walk. A fun surprise was the corn hole game and the train that came by only a couple times a day! We also enjoyed use of the Bose speaker in the Kitchen while hanging out. We ate at Lobster Trap - twice (it is so good - go early). We had plans to go to Whistle Stop for ice cream but one nephew said Somerset Creamery was much better - and it was the best Ice Cream of our trip! Highly recommend this place!

Overall the house was in pretty good condition inside. Newly renovated it's on the way to being finished but not quite! There was ample parking and large tv's. Nice to have sheets & towels included, but the beds in the bunk room downstairs had no top sheets. It was obvious the cleaning crew was a bit lax so being charged such a hefty cleaning fee the expectation was it would be spotless when we arrived. Personal items were in all the bathrooms leaving little room for our own shampoo, soap, etc. There were dirty towels in the upstairs bathroom & the freezer was malfunctioning-we had to put a towel on the kitchen floor beneath the freezer door to absorb the water leaking. A call was placed to the phone number provided to report issues, but no response. There were items behind each of the beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms (bottle of water, bag of snacks, deodorant, bowl of change), carpet remnants left on the floor in the downstairs bunk room. There were staples & some LEGO parts on the rug in the living room-discovered by stepping on something sharp! There is still painter's tape around the slider in the kitchen, mirrors are standing up leaning against walls waiting to be hung up, & price tags have been left on the lamps. Although there is sleeping for 12 if you plan on having meals at the house be prepared: you'll have plenty of plates and bowls, only 6 coffee mugs and wine glasses, no toaster or toaster oven, 1 small frypan & 2 saucepans, 6 butter knives, although plenty of forks & spoons. The house abuts the railroad tracks & trains pass through both in the morning & the evening. The description says you can walk to the canal-Shore Rd is a busy street with no sidewalks so there is no way the kids can walk to the canal esp in the summer. I would recommend adding a picnic table to the backyard for additional seating, providing locations for the list of restaurants/shops that were recommended, perhaps start a restaurant folder. If the house renovation is finished, personal health & other products removed from bathrooms & bedrooms, & a better cleaning service hired the rating would improve. I had to contact the owner/mgr numerous times prior to check-in to get information as all financial details were handled through the website including the check in details as they were never provided. Other rentals I have worked directly with owner-lease and payment separate from website-prefer doing it that way & will look for those types of rentals in the future.

My family & I enjoyed spending time at the cozy house near the Canal. The location and set up of the house was a good fit for us. We loved taking walks on the canal. Thank you The Chappron Family
