The best thing about this property were location and the patio! Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Did hike to the lake, that was also very enjoyable. Unfortunately not enough room inside for 3 adults who have very different ideas of vacationing, but I guess it’s not on the hosts, right? Pictures of one of the bedrooms are a little misleading, there are 2 small beds in that room, but looks like it’s bigger and 2 adults will be able to sleep. False! Had a little bit of a hard time opening the locks. There’s a ritual. But overall great experience!

Enjoyed a week stay here. It was during a heat wave, but with the fans provided it was comfortable even upstairs. Well stocked. Nice deck with view of trees. Nice layout for a couple or small family. We walked to Hungry Hut and to the pizza place, and it’s a short drive to Edison day use beach ( Bring beach chairs)

We had such a great stay in this cute and cozy cabin! The kitchen was perfect for cooking for your family, while the group relaxes in the living room or enjoys playing foosball and other board games that are provided. The patio was amazing also! The location was an easy walk to town. Great place to bring your family and/or friends for a fun stay in Shaver! Thank you Anderson family!

The cabin was super clean! It was relaxing and so peaceful sitting in the living room or patio! The home is nestled in the trees, it gives the effect of being in a treehouse! Very convenient to town. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Anderson House.It was just the right size for four people. There are lots of stairs to climb both outside and inside, but that wasn't a problem for us. The house was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were easy to communicate with. If you enjoy hiking we recommend the many trails at Huntington Lake. Especially the Rancheria Falls Trail. The volume of water coming over the falls this year is amazing!!

Fun and funky cabin on a hillside in a neighborhood with lots of other cabins on narrow streets. Works fine for a few people. Everything worked well, the entry deadbolt is a bit confusing, need to let it go through its cycle and light will turn green when it's ready to let you in....

My wife and I have been wanting to take our 2 year old daughter to the snow for a while now. This cabin was perfect! It’s exactly as advertised. It’s feels like a tree house with the views. It was extremely cozy and for me, hanging out I. The cabin in its surroundings was a part of the experience in Shaver Lake. This was perfect for what we were looking for.

This place was perfect for a cozy weekend for two, and a couple more if you wanted. Super clean! The weather was great with one rainy day and day of sun. We would absolutely come back and stay again. Thanks for a perfect weekend.

This is a lovely cabin, we had a very peaceful weekend. Kitchen/BBQ was great and had everything we needed!

A delightful cabin, easy access to town and quick drive to the lake. Super nice owners with great communication and so helpful in trying to find us accommodations when our family needed an extra night somewhere in town. Perfect for what we needed for the Open Lake Waterpolo tournament.

Great place to stay in the woods

My husband stayed here for work. He wasn’t able to enjoy the property much as he worked a lot, but it was comfortable, clean and had everything he needed. Only disappointment was no washer/dryer.

Our stay came on the day after a week long snow storm. The snow on the roads near the cabin were impossible to drive. We have a 2 wheel drive with chains. We got stuck driving on the residential road close to the cabin. Luckily, friendly neighbors helped us. We ended up parking on the main road and hauling our things from there. The cabin was nice, clean and just like the pictures. The neighborhood is lovely and a short walk to Shaver. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the neighborhood. The owners of the cabin were wonderful. They communicated well before our stay. They were even kind enough to refund us for one night because we couldn’t make it to the cabin due to road conditions.Overall a great time.

Was a very nice property to stay if you visit shaver lake

This was the perfect spot for me and my family. My kids loved it and the games that they provided. We enjoyed everything about this cabin and will be going back.

This cabin is very cozy and cute. Our girls (12 & 10) enjoyed it very much. It has all of the cell service and tv options that you need. If you have younger children, you know how important those things are. The owners are amazing and responsive. You can walk to town in a few minutes and get food or coffee, whatever you need.

We wanted a place to stay that would be close enough for us to spend our days exploring Shaver and Huntington Lakes and wouldn't break the bank - we very much enjoyed our 3-day, mid-week stay at this property. The check-in and accompanying instructions were timely and simple. We arrived at the house and found it just like the pictures. It had been a very warm day and so we opened all the blinds and windows and turned on the fans in the upstairs bedrooms. This house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen, bathroom, and living room are all on the main floor with two bedrooms upstairs. We appreciated the ample hot water for the shower and plenty of shelves and hooks in the bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and dinners which we enjoyed eating out on the deck. There is a nice television in the living room, the wifi worked well, and we had cell phone reception. There are approximately 30 steps leading from the driveway to the entrance of the house - the owners wanted to make sure we were aware. It was not a problem for us but I could see that at that altitude it might be for others. The driveway is steep and narrow and took us a time or two to figure out the best way to navigate it but it's all part of the charm of a mountain getaway. The location of the home is an easy 5 minute walk to the village. We found the neighborhood to be very quiet. We truly felt the owners wanted us to enjoy our stay and we did. We would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great cabin for a couple or family. Clean and cozy, you will feel right at home. Close to town and the lake makes for easy access to all you may want to enjoy in the area. Comfortable sleeping in beds or on couches Would definitely stay again. Great bang for your buck!

We had a great time and this property was easy to find and close to everything! Very relaxed feel to the cabin.

The 30 stairs were a bit much. We are over 70 yrs old. Did take owners advice and slept on the couches on first floor. And bathroom was there as well. Did not go up to the master bedroom on another second level. Great advice

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck with outdoor firepit kept us entertained for hours.

Our family enjoyed the cozy cabin and how close it is to town. We would stay there again.

Lovely setting, clean with many amenities. Owners are easy to communicate with. I’d do it again in a heartbeat ❤️
