The check-in was remote. The host provided us with the detailed instruction and we had no problem with it. Also we were allowed to check in at 2 pm which is 1 hour earlier than a standard check-in time. The apartment is located close to the sea coast, railway/bus station and old city attractions. The street looks nice, the same as building and entrance hall.

The place was dirty. The sofa bedclothes were not changed, stinky and damp. The shower hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. We sent the pictures to the host. He reacted immediately and cleaning lady came across straight away. While we were away the bedclothes were changed and the part of a shower we shot was cleaned as well as floor. Thanks for that. However, the bathroom was still dirty: dusty ventilation, uncleaned toothbrush cup, dirty shower cabin. The toilet lid was broken, which was also mentioned in a previous review. However, obviously the host wasn’t bothered about it. It was unpleasant to be in that bathroom. The host didn’t even apologised about the situation. He only mentioned that he paid the cleaning lady twice because of us. And later he asked for the 10 points review. This is just hilarious! In addition, the street stinks. The moment you open the window you feel all the flavours of trash bins and other mess around. It’s disgusting. The flat has a common corridor with the other flat. The wall isolation is not good. The neighbours were loud during the nights and each slash of the door was heard. We have stayed in other places in Sicily during our trip. This one was the last one and worst one. We do not recommend this place for staying in Palermo! You definitely can find a better accommodation for this money.

location perfect, nicely equipped, superfriendly host

Good location, very spacious with a nice balcony. The host was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations.

Very loud neighbours in the apartment above made it difficult to sleep. They started banging around early every morning.

Great apartment and facilities. Amazing location (in the middle of Kalsa region), near to everything Palermo's center has to offer. Alessandro, the host/owner is great person, friendly and helpful. He gave us best tips and guides for everyday. We recommend the property and would go back for sure.

Great value for money

Lovely cosy apartment, has all basic things you need. Location is excellent as well. By walk its around 10-12 min far from the centre, also there are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood, big supermarket. Everything was perfect ❤

The host is kind. Room size is good. The location is close to all attractions.

The street is very noisy. Kitchen minimally equipped with utensils. Lack of shelves for accessories and cosmetics in the bathroom.

The apartment is on a very cute street, loved it. The building looks new and with elevator, apartment itself exactly as in photos. Bedroom on second floor with queen bed and generally looking like a place you can stay longer than couple of nights . Kitchen had all appliances but the kettle. Main room with TV and couch, all looks good, new and clean. Tiny balcony but enough to stand and check the street life. Location super - one side you walk and in 5 minutes hit the seaside, other side 20 minutes walk and you are in centre/old town. Several very nice restaurants around the apartment so no need to go to centre, has Lidl and family store 8 minutes of walk. Air conditioning working well and a savour for such a heat. Highly recommend the place, great experience over all.

The smallest issue - dirty dishes which I assume were from previous tenants and the cleaner simply overlooked. Because apart from that everything else was very clean.
