We really enjoyed our stay at the Mancave in Big Bear. The beds were comfy, we loved the game room and hot tub, and the kitchen was equipped with all of the essentials. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Great location, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cooking equipment and serving dishes. Game room is a definite plus! Owners are always great at responding to my questions, very quick responses. We will be back!

loved the house and the location and the game room and the communication with the manager, will definitely be back. Only not even negative but just suggestion is to provide more hand towels and wash cloths as there was only 1 for the 2 bathrooms. And maybe leave a single laundry soap/dryer as well. Great Stay!!!!!

This home is spacious and has every amenity needed for a fun family vacation! The location is one cabin away from Snow Summit Ski resort which made skiing and tubbing a breeze! No need for parking and hassle. The home was warm and inviting and plenty of bedrooms and a fun game room for the kids. Highly recommend*****

This cabin is a very short walk to lifts at Snow Summit and make for a great day of skiing. The kitchen, dining area and family room are large enough for 8 adults to be very comfortable and made for a wonderful family gathering. While the game room was fun, and has plenty of electrical outlets, the wood burning fireplace is malodorous and you should avoid using it. As others have commented, if staying in winter the downstairs is very cold. One space heater was provided but it would be better to have three. The cabin is furnished with soft Tempur-Pedic foam mattresses throughout. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

This is a great large house that can fit up to 10 people. We stayed here for a few days with our kids and another family. Snowboarded at Snow Summit, and would walk back to eat lunch and let the kids rest a bit before heading back to the slopes. The kids (and myself) enjoyed the game room and jacuzzi. The only thing I would recommend it to bring items you need like tissue paper, aluminum foil, and essentials like that.

Wonderful place
Property was clean and kitchen had all appliances needed for proper cooking, even though we brought our own pans. The pots there were stilll nice. Kids and adults had a blast in the game room. Dining table was perfect for our family dinners, fit all 7 of us with room to spare. Living room couch was quite comfy and great for family movie night. In all we had a blast and enjoyed staying here.

Family Holiday Weekend in Big Bear
We were looking for a comfortable place near Snow Summit to spend President’s weekend with the grandkids and other family. Barely into our search, we found this home. Rooms were large, upstairs kitchen was easy to work in with a large table to seat all of us. Bedrooms had plenty of space, beds were fine. Three of our party are snowboarders, so they were able to walk to ski lifts. Downstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath, laundry room, and an entertainment room with tv, pool table, and air hockey table. We really enjoyed the downstairs. The entire house was very clean with very nice carpet and wood floors. On each floor there is a wood stove for heat if you wish to use them. I got the hang of it the second night! On the patio is a brand new hot tub, that all of us enjoyed. We would definitely rent this house again.

Gr8 vacation
This property is centrally located and just a few minutes from the lake. The property is very room. It has open floor plan. We had a great time in the game room downstairs. Dining alfresco on the patio was a refreshing experience.
The property was very clean, which lately is not something many have been experiencing as I read reviews when looking for a place. My sister went to Cambria two weeks ago and had a bad experience in a beach front place.
There were minor things that needed attention such as one dining chair being broken, master bedroom bed was uncomfortable and one toilet seat being broken. I let management know. They were very responsive advising repairs would be done.
I completely recommend this property!

Fantastic locale with great features
The Man Cave lived up to its listing. It's in a great location and conveniently located to many services and fun places to visit. The amenities of the pool table, air hockey, and TVs galore really made this an ideal place to have a large group (we had 9). Management was very nice and a pleasure to work with and I recommend this to anyone seeking a comfortable place with copious features.

Exceeded our expectations!!
Mario’s house was exactly what we were hoping for and more! Super convenient location with convenient stores, food and necessities just down the street. The house itself was bigger than we thought it would be! Living room was huge, the balcony was a nice touch and the game room was so much fun. My friends and I spent most of the evenings playing pool and the video arcade. Felt like kids again in this beautiful house! ;)

Great for Large Families!
Great cabin for a large group. Wonderful upstairs floor plan with lots of seating. Very clean and property owner quick to respond! Kids really enjoyed the game room downstairs! Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice stay
It was a nice little cabin. We had fun playing pool and relaxing on the patio. Being able to bbq our food was a plus. A total of 9 of were there so that was the perfect amount of people for the beds including couples. More than that is stretching it.

The property is a wonderful location, which is very close to Snow Summit and close to everything we wanted to see. It has an open space for dining and living room space for families in all ages to gather. Game room was a big plus and many beds. Clean and good communication with property management. Great stay for multiple families!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Access to the cabin was easy and the location was great to Snow Summit. There is a TV in every room, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and kitchen has everything you’ll need including a nice new coffee maker. There were two plastic sled disks in the closet downstairs the kids used to play in the front yard with. We didn’t need to contact the owner since we didn’t have any problems during our stay. If I had a couple of suggestions, one would be to have a broom or access to a vacuum for families. The playroom definitely has wear from use. The pool table and sticks have seen better days. The balls would fall right out of the pockets when we would play. It also was freezing in the room and I would not suggest using or even opening the fireplace provided as it has a horrible smoky smell that we had to air out. There are two portable heaters in the downstairs bedrooms that we used to warm up the playroom with and that worked great! Upstairs there was plenty of seating for all of us and a big deck with a nice view. The sliding door locks you out if closed all the way so be mindful during your stay. We would absolutely book again!

This home is in an ideal location for skiing/boarding at Summit. Very spacious and comfortable main living/dining/kitchen. Very convenient check-in with an electronic keypad. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great Location
You can’t beat the location if you want to be close to the mountain. Took 7mins to walk to Snow Summit. The house was clean and accommodating for 8 adults and 2 kids. Mario was super helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location, exactly as described
Upon arrival it was easy to get access, the house interior was so clean and everything was labeled. We assigned bedrooms for our four kids and made dinner. The kitchen was easily accessible and they had everything you needed. The best part was that there was enough seats for everyone in our family in the dining and living areas. We brought firewood and made attempts every day to get the fireplace to work to no avail. We also spent time watching the snow fall from the front porch. It was beautiful. The sliding door was finicky but we found a work around and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. The downstairs was very cold for my big kids but thanks to another review we were prepared with heater blankets- they were a lifesaver! The downstairs toilet is tiny and great for kids. We had some plumbing issues but once again Mario was on top of it. We brought the dogs along and spent a lot of time walking around the house. I came back inside with my hands full of trash every time from the property and the neighborhood . I so wish people would pick up after themselves! Mario was extremely responsive and the property met all of our needs to escape from the city for a few days. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you Mario!

Large comfortable home close to Snow Summit
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this large comfortable home with 2 levels. Just a 10 minute walk to the Snow Summit lift. Everything was clean. Excellent communication with Mario, the owner.

Great entertainment house!!
This house is great for large groups and if you are traveling with children. My kids loved the game room. House was clean and very close to slopes. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great location
We got their at 8 pm and it was dark and snowing. The snow was pretty thick on driveway and our two 4x4 trucks slid down the driveway on first try because we didnt put on the chains. The heat does not really hit downstairs very well, but upstairs was great. The beds have memory foam matress which are firm and was a little hard to get used to. thier where a few spots that could have been cleaned a little better. Games room had ashes in furness so it smelled kind of bad. video game was ok shape but buttons had a delay, air hockey had corner peices missing but worked good. pool table needed to be cleaned off and stick where not that great, two where broke and did not twist together all the way ( striped ) shower doors did not shut very easy because the track needed cleaning and wheels prob a little old. It was an older cabin but it was cozy and did the job. it is 30 yards from the parking lot of snow summit..we got plenty of snow and had a great time. It was dark when we got their and the code i got did not work, but we reached someone on the first call who got us in. Over all had a great time and would do it again.

Enjoyable
We enjoyed our stay, I would say if the continue to accept dogs that the yard be fully fenced. I would not have brought my dog had I known it wasn't fenced. Also some of the dinning chairs need to be tightened so no one gets hurt. I would stay again.

Some suggestions: Downstairs amenities were very dated, Roku remotes were missing and system too difficult and no instructions on how to operate it, smoke detector downstairs was beeping. Hope that helps.

Perfect Location
This house is the perfect house for 2 families, we had 4 adults and 4 kids. Everything in the house was clean upon arrival, and it was a well kept house. The game room is great we all enjoyed it, especially the kids. The location was perfect, 2nd house from the parking lot at the base of Snow Summit and just a few minute drive to the Village. We will be definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

House was amazing!
Was not too happy that swimming was almost impossible! Had I known that the lake was so very dry I would have chosen a very different venue. We had 4 children with us and it was very difficult to find a place for them to swim and cool off. Hiking trails were good as was the town itself, loved all the little shops and the brewerys were great.
Next time I will have to find out some more info instead of assuming!
