Great location, we finally made it back to Maui after last year reroute to Kauai as a result of the Lahaina fires. Unit was clean and well stocked. Great amenities and a quick walk to Kam 3 beach and shopping. Pickle ball and the swimming pool was great!

We love the Kamaole Sands Resort. The grounds are beautiful and the walkability to the beach and restaurants is awesome. The communication with the Hernandez' was fantastic. All that being said, I concur with many of the reviews that call out the need for updates to the unit. The new flooring throughout most of the unit is great. The lanai is wonderful. The kitchen and bathrooms are tired. The air conditioning is only in the living room area. We really prefer to not use air conditioning, and we managed without it because Kihei has trade winds most afternoons so you can create a cross wind by having the door open and the lanai open. The bedroom would have been too hot for many people. There is a ceiling fan, but any speed above very low creates a major wobble and feels unsafe to sleep under. This should be addressed right away. Also, the wicker couch isn't that comfortable to sit on for longer periods. Would be great to replace that. But, all in all, we would stay again.

The grounds are beautiful, pool is great! The unit is dated but comfortable enough. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Washer/Dryer is great.

We always enjoy staying at Kamaole Sands. Construction was being done 0n the roofs but that wasn't an issue.

The place was great and it suited the needs of our family for our stay here. It is walking distance to the beach (pretty much just across the street) and walking distance or a short drive to many places to eat and shop. We would definitely rent from here again!

We had such a lovely stay! The location is fabulous - Right across from one of our favorite beaches on Maui.
The condo had everything we needed. It was spacious inside, and we really enjoyed the lanai! The gardens, tennis, pickle ball, and pool were also great. We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

We had a great week just before Christmas. The pool with 2 jacuzzis is fantastic. I used the gym every morning.We walked across the road to the beach every day.
Overall it's an awesome place for families. We would stay there again

Thank you William for sharing your property which was budget friendly, well located, and embedded in a beautiful complex. We most enjoyed the lanai and the peacefulness of our surroundings. Clean linens, beach towels and chairs/umbrellas were much appreciated. The BBQ pits were clean and high quality.

Can’t go wrong with this condo! Everything you need for beach fun and a fantastic location in Maui. Right across from Kameole beach park 3. BIG patio with a great inner courtyard/ocean view. We had one small issue with the fridge and William handled the issue promptly. Will be staying here again! Thanks for the great trip!

We spent about a week here and had a great stay! The condo was clean and comfortable with a great location right across from the beach! The views are incredible and we could hear the whales from the lanai on the morning! We had everything we needed (kitchen, beach things, etc) to enjoy our vacation!

Some great beaches. It’s walkable to local restaurants too. The lanai is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the middle rings waiting for the sun to come over the mountain.

We enjoyed our stay and the kitchen was very nicely stocked!
Just want to mention a few maintenance things in case you don't already know. The master bedroom ceiling fan appears to be ready to fall down. It has separated from the ceiling. Turning it up to high, shakes it and someone has stuffed paper up between ceiling and the fan in hopes of stabilizing it. We kept it where it wasn't shaking. Still unnerving.
Also, the inside shower door of the master bath doesn't have stoppers to keep the glass in place. And it slides out of the guide.
Under the kitchen sink the left cabinet door is about to fall off. The bracket is pulling out of the cabinet.
Again, overall the accomodations were nice. Thank you.

All in all we had a good time at this property. It was Clean when we arrived and you will find everything you need for your stay. Kitchen is Well equiped. Maybe the furniture could use a update. We enjoyed our time here in Maui at this condo. Thank you!

Location of condo was fabulous! We were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and fountains from our large lanai. The condo itself needs some TLC. This was our second time staying in this condo and would recommend it. The pros definitely out way the cons

Great place. Navigating the check in could have been a little more clear. We arrived around 5 pm and the cleaning wasn’t complete. The master bathroom also needs some attention - we had to clean mold and mildew out of the track. The lady cleaning the place when we arrived appeared to be pretty scattered and mumbling to herself. It was odd.

Great Hawaii stay
Had all that we needed for 2 adults and 2 kids. Excellent view. Elevator to the unit. Big balcony to sit out on. Had beach chairs, umbrella, and 2 coolers.
Easy access to everything. Very little hot water so it’s quick showers for everyone. AC in living room so it’s all fans in the bedroom and can get warm. Bring your own condiments as there’s very little available there. Great gas grilling spots in the complex.

Great location and nice amenities
This was a beautiful resort property in an excellent location. Had enough "comforts" of home. Wouldn't want to be here in hotter summer months because of single window a/c unit. Biggest downside was the bedroom window was open to the elevator traffic sounds. Master bathroom sink was very slow draining and quickly stopped up/unusable. Otherwise, I would stay here again 🙂

Great place to stay
This was a great place to stay. It was a great center for all the travels that we did. Beaches close by and great location. We cooked at least 1-2 meals a day at the property and it had everything that we needed. Quiet and safe. Had a dishwasher and washer dryer in the apartment. The bed was large and comfortable. They had beach chairs, two boogie boards and a beach cooler and beach towels to use. Parking place was right by building. Two televisions, one in the Living area and one in the bedroom. (never turned them on :) ) Wifi was great. Communication with owners was fast and effective.
I would recommend this property and I would stay here again.

Convenient location in Kehei area
There location of the apartment is great with beach about 4-5 minutes by walk. I feel the apartment was little bit outdated in terms of kitchen furniture and TV. Both TV didn't had any streaming services as both of the TVs were not wifi smart TVs. Cable of the bedroom TV was not working. One of the bathroom sink got clogged and bathroom hot water doesn't run long enough for a person to take a hot bath.
You need to pay $40 for parking which was not mentioned in listing but the owner messaged me about it in his check in instructions.
Overall I like the location and the beach next to the condo is great.

Dated but Comfortable
We found this property to be conveniently located near the beaches we enjoy in the Kihei area. Having a cooler and beach chairs available was a great plus.
While comfortable, there are a couple issues where this unit would benefit from some TLC. The front security gate would benefit from some hinge adjustment and the refrigerator is in need of service due to the drain freezing up. Also, the fans in both bathrooms are extremely noisy.

Great location!
We (4 adults) booked this condo for our stay on Maui and appreciated the convenient location, a walk across the street to the beach, a short car ride to grocery stores, snorkeling, and restaurants. Some improvements and updates would make a big difference, the pull out couch mattress was quite old and not terribly comfortable, and there is just one AC unit in the living room which made it a little tricky getting the bedroom down the hall cool at night. If traveling in a group I also highly suggest staggering your showers as warm water seemed to run out fairly quick. That being said, the roomy beautiful lanai, access to grills, laundry in unit, pools and hot tubs and beautiful grounds made up for the shortcomings! Very much appreciate the place to stay while on Maui!

Kamaole Sands Getaway
We had an excellent stay for one week, the property was clean and well located. Great access to the beach, and the pool and exercise room we’re excellent. Great views of the garden pathway from the lanai
Had difficulty with reception and Wi-Fi in the bedroom, despite being only feet away from the router. We could not get the TV to turn on in the bedroom, but we weren’t here for a TV. There were beach chairs and umbrella, cooler bag and boogie boards for use. Overall a wonderful getaway, will do it again.

The Perfect Spot!
We booked our 10 day stay at this great place kind of last minute and were really pleased we could find this very nice unit with reasonable pricing. The unit was very clean, a little dated, but well appointed, comfortable, with a really nice big Lanai looking over the fountains and well-manicured gardens. We played tennis almost every morning, then were able to get to all the perfect beaches in the area easily, and we could walk to shops and restaurants. We loved that we were provided with all the things we would need for the beach--chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and cooler.
Check in was easy and communicating with Bill and Kathy super easy and pleasant. We highly recommend and would love to rent from them again!

Great Family Place
Right across the street from a beautiful beach and relatively close to local food places. Has a great pool, tennis courts and even BBQ pavilions that can be reserved and used. Family had an amazing time.
