Cozy, well-equipped, comfortable including the great back porch overlooking the Creeper Trail (big plus) and Laurel River. And it was clean!! (VERY important)

Great place, but poor internet and no dishwasher
Great place to stay if you are headed to the Creeper Trail. However we had work to attend to at night and needed internet which was poor. Dishes and kitchen items available but no dishwasher. Great jacuzzi and views

Beautifully appointed, lovely decorations, spectacular view, super comfortable bed. However . . . it's right behind the Food City, which means there will truck deliveries - and backup beeps - as early as 6:30am on weekdays.

In person really wow'd me! Better then the photos. Inside was so cozy and beautiful. The back porch was a dream listening to the river and swinging on the porch swing. The fireplace and jacuzzi really helped our weekend to re coop from our very busy lives to just have quiet and peace. We would 100% come back!

Lovely weekend
Me and my partner had a wonderful experience! We were a little caught off guard by how close we were to food city but you couldn’t even tell sitting on the back porch. Its also very convenient to have a grocery store close by. We would definitely come back again!!

We had a wonderful time in Damascus ansd loved being so close to the Virginia Creeper trail! The only downfalls I can think of is just hearing the beeping of the grocery trucks early in the morning (on the plus side though, you are right next to the grocery store!), but the beeping didn’t bother us too bad. Would definitely stay again!

The only downfalls I can think of is just hearing the beeping of the grocery trucks early in the morning (on the plus side though, you are right next to the grocery store!), but the beeping didn’t bother us too bad. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for the Virginia Creeper Trail and the town of Damascus. The Food City trucks can be a bit annoying so early in the morning since the parking lost is next to Cabin #1. The WiFi did not work all weekend which the owner was aware of. We will stay there again.

Absolutely Amazing!
We were impressed from the moment we opened the door. Super clean, and the view of the river is so relaxing. Although it rained our entire stay, we still sat on the deck and enjoyed the river sounds and views. Due to the rain, we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace (which was a little difficult to start), but made for a perfect romantic getaway! Jacuzzi was wonderful! Food City is walking distance, but you still feel very secluded. I would 100% recommend this place! Can not wait to go back again during better weather and enjoy the sights of the Virginia Creeper Trail. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had.

Lovely one room cabin right on the Creeper trail and over looking the river. Very relaxing while swinging on the back porch and convenient to all that Damascus has to offer.

If you are looking for a socially distant place to get away, then this is your place! Spotless cabin with a great shower located within steps of the creeper trail. Back porch overlooks the trail & creek. A calming retreat.

we really enjoyed our stay !!
we spent two nights at the cabin and enjoyed it very much.we liked sitting on the back porch watching and listening to the stream down below.it is beautiful.we liked the jaquzi tub as well.a gas or charcoal grill would have nice, along with a better selection of pots & pans for cooking.

Getaway
My wife and I needed a getaway close to Blacksburg. This filled the need perfectly. The location is right behind the Food City, down the road from Damascus Brewery and right on the Creeper Trail. It was great!!

Awesome Getaway
I planned a surprise stay for the wife as an early Mother’s Day gift and she absolutely loved it. We had an amazing time! First time in Virginia as well. Everything was great. We will definitely come back! Thanks again! Josh and Bailey

Perfect Mountain Getaway!
Cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! Ideal compact yet comfortable size, and superb location with balcony overlooking creek and Creeper Trial. Gas log fireplace made for a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Lots of attention to detail by the owners, loved the regional artwork and the snowmen! Well stocked kitchen, we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Will definitely look to book here again, thanks for an awesome experience in our mountain getaway!

Loved this cozy cabin on the river. It has a wonderful deck overlooking the river and bike trail. Grocery store was next door and walkable.
