Amazing Ocean Views with Hot Tub, Family Friendly
Entra in una bella casa isolata arroccata accanto al faro della baia di Yaquina. Perfetto per una vacanza romantica o una vacanza in famiglia. Splendida vista sull'oceano a 180 gradi dal soggiorno. Frequenti sedute di balene e aquile dal ponte. Nessun accesso diretto alla spiaggia, ma solo cinque minuti a piedi attraverso un sentiero nel bosco appartato alla spiaggia tranquilla con piscine di marea incontaminate e habitat protetto di uccelli marini. A soli 5-10 minuti di auto da Nye Beach, dallo storico Newport Bayfront e dall'acquario di Newport. Un miglio a piedi dal parco statale e dal centro interpretativo del faro di Yaquina. Overall outstanding experience at this O eansode property. The home was very comfortable and inviting with amazing views of the Pacific and the Yaquina Lighthouse. The gardens and Jacuzzi made our stay even more special. The communication with the owner was also excellent.

I feel so lucky to have stayed at this amazing home. The views are spectacular and the garden reminded me of something out of a fairytale. The house itself was perfect for my family and included all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

The location of this home was breathtaking with crashing waves and and a great view of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. We found it hard to leave this hideaway to explore the surrounding areas. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The communication from owner was excellent and the beautiful gardens added so much to its charm. It was nicely decorated with lots of special touches. It was very hard to leave and hope to return some day.

I thoroughly enjoy staying at this home... the amenities are great and sometimes hard to leave to do other activities. Walking to the beach from this home is lovely and the tidepools are amazing at low tide. Definitely a place to return

The moment I got here, I was in awe of how beautiful this property is. You don’t even feel like your close to anyone, the house is so welcoming and you have views from everywhere! The cobble stone paths are so cool! I will 100% be going back, I was not disappointed. My group has been coming to Newport for the past 5 years for wine fest and we have never stayed somewhere we automatically wanted to go back to!

Only neegative is height of both beds. Mattress almost impossible to get on...much too high. Supply footstool or use thinner mattress. We thought we wouldn't be able to get in bed. We're all tall adults.

The view from the deck are amazing. Fantastic view of the ocean and the lighthouse. The back of the home is very secluded and very relaxing.
The interior of the home is very comfortable. Some of the dishes were not clean but that was solved very easily.
Would definitely stay here again if we are in Newport again. Interactions with Amy was very easy.

WOW, what an impressive VRBO. Thank you, Amy, for providing us with a stress-free, charming, zen-like hideaway. This home is perfectly located right on the coast line with a beautiful view of the ocean and gardens visible from nearly every window. There really wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't already provided. If you are on the fence about which VRBO to lease...THIS IS THE ONE! You won't be disappointed.

Sam's Sea Haven was a bit of a splurge for us but well worth it. Even though the house is located in a neighborhood, we felt we were in a world of our own, soaking in the hot tub, gazing at whales off Yaquina Head. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms had everything we could possibly need. Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, the aquarium, and whale watching tours were all nearby.

The home has a warm and welcoming feel. We loved it from the moment we stepped through the gate. Inside, the home is nicely decorated, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with snuggly comforters. A welcome basket with wine and snacks greeted us in the kitchen - and it was welcome. Wonderful views from the deck as well as from the hot tub. The robes provided for the hot tub walk was an extra special treat. We will definitely return to this lovely retreat. Amy, our host, was great to work with and very accommodating .

We had a wonderful stay — the property was exactly as advertised; however, the pictures do not do justice to being there in person. The views of the ocean and lighthouse are simply phenomenal, especially when surrounded by the beautiful, lush foliage. The house is extremely well kept and clean, and the sound of the ocean at night is wonderful. That the house has a touching history behind it is the cherry on top. A must visit location!

My husband turned 70 this year, he said it was the BEST Birthday present ever. We love this property and will stay here again for sure. Best house rental we have ever stayed in. We had a great stay and left wishing we had another day or two. The family enjoyed our little hikes down to the beach. It would be lovely if the beach were slightly more easily accessible, but because its not, fewer people go there and its a much more private beach experience complete with rock out-croppings, tidepools, and ocean critters. The house is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. Thank you for allowing us into your home!

This cute little home is just picture perfect, with the beautiful Alice in Wonderland type garden, cute little paths to the hot tub and seating areas and breathtaking view of the ocean along with the lighthouse. You can see the love put into building this home and the wish to share it with those who would enjoy it. The check-in and out processes were super easy. The little extras were beautiful little touches to make your stay even better with robes, wine and snacks. Will definitely book this location again.

The whole family had a great time at Sam's Sea Haven! The views of the ocean and lighthouse from the house, hot tub, and bench were awesome! Easy one block walk to beach access (access itself is a little steep but our young kids had no issues at all). Comfortable beds as well. We cooked in the kitchen a few times. Communication with Amy was proactive and quick whenever we had a question. Highly recommend for a trip to the Oregon Coast!

We stayed at Sam's Sea Haven for a week. The views were absolutely amazing! We have stayed at several beach houses and no other view compared to this one!! It was so relaxing. We loved just sitting on the bench and watching the waves. The natural landscape is beautiful around the house. It is a very peaceful setting. It was fun to have the lighthouse so close too.We loved the tide pools on the beach. Our boys loved exploring them. We will definitely be back to this beautiful gem! Thank you Amy and family!

We loved this house! The ocean and lighthouse views from the house are spectacular! The flower garden at the entrance to the house is also lovely and I enjoyed sitting by it almost as much as sitting on the ocean side of the house. We also liked the layout of the house, we could see my daughter playing in the living room while we were in kitchen. She had fun playing with the toys that were there. My husband is the cook and he was excited about the ocean views while cooking. Access to the beach is good. Communication with the owner was excellent, from start to finish. The only thing that could make this place better would be some blinds and/or screens on all windows. The west side of the house can get toasty in the late afternoon. But this was a minor issue and we hope to return. Thank you Amy for making such a special place available!

My experience overall was great, a little things that could add to make it better, a little bit nicer patio furniture with a table outside to enjoy the ocean views! And have wine. Paper towels in the kitchen would be nice. Maybe a little advice on how to use the TV. I thought it was regular cable TV but it wasn’t. and it also had said it had TV in the bedroom, which It didn’t. But I love the meaning behind Sam’s haven:) One more comment it would be nice to have screens on the windows because most of the windows don’t open in the living room. And I was fighting flies if I left any windows open., or doors.Other than that... it was easy to get to the beach beautiful hike! It was nice to get away.

We stayed here for the week of our honeymoon and it was everything we needed. It was so secluded and quiet, it was so easy to wind down and be able to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. You can there was a lot of thought and love put into this home. The view from the hot tub was so perfect to watch the light house at night and we were able to see boats out at sea. We got to unwind the day and catch a sunset from the Bench, which was set perfectly. We had everything we could have needed. Everything was exactly as described and would highly recommend!

When we arrived, we were immediately awe struck, the beauty, the solitude, the home, the views, the peace overwhelmed us. We walked around, inside and outside for a long time, sat on the Bench and were overcome with a peaceful Destiney feeling. This is the 4th different home we have rented in Newport, but we can guarantee it is the LAST. We are already making plans to return next year, for a longer stay. The interior of the home is spotless, so clean, bed so comfy, everything at out fingertips. There is a bowl of goodies, and a Bottle of wine waiting for us. We poured the wine and proceeded to outside, to sit on the deck round the home. Peace had found us, we spent 12 nights there, and were so vey sad to leave.. We cannot find the words other than, Amy, DESTINY and Sam's Sea Haven we, have found. We shall be back.
