I loved my stay. The cottage was exactly as described. Very cozy, comfortable, and private. The Town of Black Mountain was adorable. The shops and restaurants were inviting and fun. Friendly people. I'd love to come back the next time I need a little time alone!

It was an adorable cottage. It made us feel right at home! Everything was clean and well kept up. It was in a location surrounded by beautiful scenery and fun things to do!

The cottage was just as shown. Extremely clean, cozy & within walking distance of Village of Black Mountain. We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well equipped for simple meal prep. We would definitely stay again. Check in & communication was easy.

The house was small and perfect for the two of us. Tastefully decorated. Loved the front porch. The host was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The house is in a backyard and the host works hard on the lovely landscaping. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great quiet place to stay and enjoy Black Mountain.

Such a cute , well equipped cottage. Behind owners house in beautiful garden. Loved our host, we called her Aunt Brenda because she was just like an aunt would be to us. 😃

My stay at this cottage was an absolute delight! Clean space, lots of sunshine and quaint but cozy feel. WIFI was also amazing which was what I needed for work-if you want a respite within a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown, and even a resident bunny in the backyard to see, this place is for you! Host Brenda was also very friendly, courteous and warm, whom I had the opportunity to meet during my stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Brenda’s attention to detail to create comfort goes beyond words. This charming cottage in the woods was enchanting, so very comfortable and so very comforting; adorable, peaceful and efficient as well.

Great spot, about 5 blocks from downtown. Very new and clean, with great air conditioning, basic kitchen setup and comfortable bed. Only thing I’d note is listing description says 1 be/1 bath, but it’s a studio (all one room, plus bath). Not a big deal but my wife’s a night owl so we usually try to book places where the bedroom is its own room.
Our host, Brenda was fantastic by the way. Present, but not obtrusive and a great lady.

We had a great time at this little retreat cabin located very close (very walkable distance) to downtown Black Mountain. Everything you need is there. Lots of room for two. It’s peaceful. Wonderful owner. You’ll love it.

Very cozy, cute, and all very clean and new. Location is excellent (about 2 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and 15 or so from Asheville proper) and is very quiet and well kept. Brenda was wonderful and very respectful of our privacy the whole time we were there. Exactly what we were looking for...hope to visit again soon!

This is a gorgeous place to stay. We hike lake tomahawk, wilson college trails and others. Hostess is fantastic. Black mtn is a quaint small town reminding you of saluda.

Absolutely lovely cottage and perfect location. Ms. Brenda is so kind.
Bring a flashlight or use phone light for walking the very dark path behind the house to the cottage.
Be sure to CONFIRM your listing days prior to arrival with direct communication with the owner. A glitch with VRBO and AIRBB had double booked people during our stay.
Loved our stay and hope to return someday!

The house was quaint and conveniently located. The owner was pleasant and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The house and the yard would decorated so cute. Would always pick her first on our return trips.

We didn’t get to stay long, but I’d be happy to return again and again. The cabin is tucked away in a secluded charming garden on a quiet street in the nicest neighborhood. We couldn’t have been more comfortable in our own home, everything was provided in this perfectly arranged space. It was exquisitely clean and well appointed, and the lovely lady who lived in the main house was so nice and friendly, we can’t wait to return.
