Perfect for walking to the Village, and to ski down to Elkhorn Lift where we could decide to ski towards Avon or Beaver Creek! Of course, we used the skyway to get back to the Condo and the Hot Tub!

We have been coming ti Beaver Creek since 2003 its been a special place for us. It was a little disappointing this trip since its so close to the holiday season to find little or no christmas decoration's, in the shoppes and around the village, some of the restaurants were closed and very people around shopping, it was not what we expected. Very disappointing

Great location easy ski in/out and a short walk to village. The only disappointment was the hot tub was closed a few days for maintenance.

The Townsend Condo location A206 at Beaver Creek in a great location for ski in and out. Short walk to the village restaurants and shops also the Vilar theater. Condo is comfortable and well equipped.

This comfy spot was perfect for us. The ventilation through lots of opening windows allowed the cool night air in, the bed was comfortable and the hot tub very welcome! Though the unit needs updating (including tvs) and the WiFi could be improved, we would go back in a heartbeat. The delightful walking path will easily take you to the village, tennis center, park or just a walk along the creek. The management was very responsive. We were well taken care of. Thank you.

First the Good the unit is comfortable. The unit has a full kitchen coffee makers and utensils and flatware. There are plenty of blankets and pillows and a washer dryer that had detergent on hand which allowed us to wash the towels and whatnot. It is ski on and ski off literally feet from the trail. Walk out to the parking lot past the hot tub and there’s a little foot bridge about 15 feet. Once over the bridge is the ski trail to the ELK lift is right there.
The BAD!
When I arrived the room was not ready at 4pm and I received messages that to be understanding as we were coming off the new year’s holiday weekend and they are back logged. But I had to access a unit during Covid to retrieve a parking pass that has not been cleaned, not a good way to start a vacation. Then while taking a shower the mirror fogged up to reveal that someone was very creative and drew a chicken on the mirror (very cute), but all that tells me is that they rushed through cleaning the room and was not as thorough as they should have been during covid which again is not very reassuring.
The WI-FI is not useable you're using the HOA common wi-fi which is being shared throughout the building. The wi-fi would allow me to connect but would drop off or has speeds of dialup. This was a major issue for me as I was expecting to do some work in the evenings and no matter the time of day or night it wasn’t any better. Now I get it, you’re in the mountains and on a shared Wi-Fi, but I would not offe

Perfect Beaver Creek location
Perfect location with the porch facing east (shaded by trees) towards the creek so you can hear the rushing water of the creek. Hot tub steps away and easy access to the common park like grounds and walkways to anywhere you want to go in Beaver Creek. If you like to prepare foods, salads, etc. the unit only had one small mixing bowl but plenty of every day plates, dishes, etc. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place, Berkshire management iffy
Property was great. Didn’t get check in information sent until I called, emailed and texted every person listed on Berkshire’s voicemail system. I booked the night before. Automated check in process seemed to expect me to book much sooner. Main contact didn’t call back until day after I checked in. Every person I spoke with started the conversation saying I had what I needed. That was untrue. System tried to sell me cancellation insurance after the date it said I would be able to use it. Process relies too much on automation, little thought given to what happens when the system fails.

A Luxurious Retreat After Days Outdoors
Beautiful roomy Condo surrounded by views of aspens and pines. Very nice bathrooms and kitchen. Great access to Avon and Vail by bicycle. Impressed with Avon restaurants, also great grocery store so we had nice meals at home to. We'd come again!

Would definitely come back ... but...
The one big disappointment was the lack of a working hot tub this week. A big part of our ski day is to rehab in the hot tub and though we were able to enjoy it Monday night, it was not hot on Tuesday and completely closed on Wednesday and Thursday. The spa that has been installed since we were last hear (2017) is larger and nicer for the most part but the old one worked! Other than that we did find this unit (first time in building A and this particular 1-bedroom unit) to be well represented online, very convenient check-in and well situated to everything in the village / slopes. The onsite manager was very nice (we met him when we were coming in and the online communication with the reservation/management team was excellent. We appreciate the 12 pm checkout today - works perfectly with our 12:10 airport shuttle pickup! Thank you very much. John & Pam

Beaver Creek Condo
We had a great time! Easily walkable to anywhere we wanted to go. Quiet complex. The automatic hot tub cover is broken, so that was a disappointment, as hot tub soaking is usually a favorite part of our mountain retreat. Great condo unit though!!!

Summer Getaway
Your Townsend Place condo was just what we needed for a place to rest and relax. Beaver Creek is so beautiful at this time of year. The condo is conveniently located close to a nice park and a short walk to the center of the village. The condo was very clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. Although we did limited food prep, the kitchen appeared to be well outfitted for meal prep and serving. One item we would have enjoyed was chairs on the balcony for enjoying the view and cool breezes. Our check in and check out experience was flawless. We recommend this nicely appointed condo and hope we can visit again!

Fantastic Unit in Pristine Location
We spent a wonderful week in Beaver Creek at this unit. I had zero expectations and was blown away. Full ski in and ski out. Location is right in the heart of Beaver Creek village. Unit was clean and property manager responsive and made check in/out seamless. Already figuring out how to book for next year.

Sounds of the nearby creek...
Lovely condo nestled in the pines with nearby creek. Great cross ventilation. Only suggestion is to replace the shades (two badly broken). Manager was great to work with! We hope to return and stay here again.

Average
The property was clean and nice, just as it appeared in the photos, but the thermostat was definitely problematic. Forced air made it difficult to breathe at night and I had a hard time sleeping because the bed was uncomfortable and lacked a comforter. The pull out bed was also very uncomfortable for our kids. It is a great location and we enjoyed our stay, but sleeping was definitely a challenge.

Great layout and location
This property is a great fit for a family of up to 4. It is spacious and has a great layout, including full kitchen, dining room table that seats 6 and a second full bathroom. The location is also a plus, with a paved walking path only a block from the Beaver Creek village. The only issues we had were minor: the channel guide on the TV didn't work and the reservation/check-in process was a bit cumbersome. I received 4 separate emails to complete the reservation and provide details, to obtain complete check-in info I needed to load and access an app, and check out info was sent in yet another email, which I didn't notice until well after leaving the unit (it would have been helpful to get a heads up warning to watch for the email and to have included check out info in the Guest binder). Overall, we had a very pleasant 3 night stay during the Birds of Prey World Cup races.

The location was perfect walking distance to the ski lifts and so cozy. Very convenient for first time skiers and first time Beaver Creek attendees.

Nice Condo - needs new mattress and sheets - Hot Tub - yuck
The condo itself is nice - very close to the slopes, great ski storage, nice kitchen and good bathrooms. The couch could use updating (new cushions) as other posters have stated.
The king bedroom mattress should be updated. And the sheets are not very soft. If you like firm pillows you should bring your own.
Hot tub - it's gross. This is not the owner's hot tub but a community one - but they need to know. It smells and although it is one of my favorite things after skiing - we only went the first day then never went back.
Overall - condo is good but needs a few upgrades in our opinion. We weren't looking for 5 star and I'd call this 3 - but couch and mattresses need attention.

Spacious 1 Bedroom Condo
Very comfortable, spacious, 1 bedroom condo, in Beaver Creek Village.
Huge en suite master bathroom, plus additional full bathroom.
Very well appointed kitchen, with modern appliances, and granite counter tops.
Easy access to the slopes, with ski in/out, to the Elkhorn Lift.
Would highly recommend for 2-4 person group/family.

It's OK but better options exist.
Townsend place is a convenient location and allows access to a cat track to the Elkhorn Lift which is convenient but slow start to the day (not an express). The properties in this location have a good floor plan and are spacious but the units are dated and this one in particular needs some TLC. Furniture is old and the pull out bed is only going to work for really young kids. The unit needs a refresh all over. However, the customer service through Berkshire who manages the property is good. I have stayed at other units in Townsend that have been renovated and are nicer, but the price point is good for this unit, you get what you pay for.

The property was close to slopes and village. It was quiet and clean. There were a few things that were not in unit that should have been but otherwise very nice.
