Property is nnice for the price

I can't gush about Pierview Oceanfront Condos enough! My favorite place to stay in OBX.This is a nice condo in a great location. Near several restaurants and stores. Within walking distance of Jennette's Pier, which can be seen from the balcony. All the basics you need are provided. The towels provided were surprisingly soft and good quality. The king bed was very comfortable. I can't comment on the pillows, as i travel with my own. My favorite thing about this place was the balcony. This building sits very close to the water, so you're practically sitting on the beach! The only issue i had was that the living room balcony door didn't lock. The whole lock plate was missing from the door frame, so there was nothing for the latch to catch. I managed to wedge a folding step ladder in the doorway to keep it from being opened. That, and being above ground level made me feel safe enough. The property managers, Mike and Lisa, are absolutely wonderful! They brought a wooden dowel for the door track and promised to fix the lock soon. Overall, this is a nice unit with plenty of room for several ti stay comfortably.

fun weekend great location; Weather could have been better

Great location...perfect for a relaxing beach stay..hope to use again..

GIrls weekend mid-October 2023 for a group of middle aged gals. Location on beach can't be beat, condo is older however well maintained. Bed mattresses were comfy, however pillows were lumpy. Condo faces east so you get the morning sunrise, which is nice because this is when the dolphins come to play and can easily be seen from the balcony. Management was very friendly and always available when needed. Kitchen is stocked with the basics, drip perculator coffee pot rather than pods so be sure to buy the right type of coffee (they provide filters). Overalll, I would recommend this property to sleep a family of four comfortably. You simply will not get a better view with sights and sounds of the ocean steps from your balcony. I sat for hours each day and watched the surfers, sand pipers and sanderlings play without a care in the world.

Pluses: Condo size. Beach steps away. Beds comfortable. Nice pools. Minuses: safety measures needs to be made on this unit for children. Patio door lock broken. No security lock on entrance door. Also needs a thorough cleaning. It was only surface-cleaned. Could have provided more towels. Reservation for 6 people to share 4 towels? Also problem with ants!

The condo was perfect for our family with small children. Access to the beach was so easy and the two pools on the property were perfect for the kids when they didn't feel like the beach. The condo itself was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were just right. I'd definitely stay here again!

This property was clean, comfortable, and had all that we needed for the week. One of the nicest places that we have ever stayed in at OBX and an absolutely gorgeous view. A perfect location and we enjoyed the pools. We will definitely stay here again!

We love staying at the PierView bulding, we find nice people there. This is our 4th year at the bulding and our 1st time in #203. It was ok. The cleaning could be severely upgraded because the dishwasher was completely full of dishes for our arrival. The last renters food was in the fridge. There were dead bugs, crayons, toys in the corners. Overall, our stay was great because you can’t be upset at the beach.

Nice, clean, view and beach access are awesome. Kitchen is well equipped. Pools were clean. Bathrooms could use an update, but, overall, very nice.

Wonderful place to stay.

Our Condo was ocean facing and you’re paying for the view and location. We had an easy check in and property managers were also very accommodating with providing 2 extra shower towels (unit had 4) and pillow cases for the spare pillows (one of the twin beds was missing and none of the spares had any) upon request. The property itself is in need of major updating and a significant deep clean. We left feeling it wasn’t our favorite rental but we made do with what was included and reason for 3 stars but wouldn’t rent this unit again. The property is stocked with the vary bare minimum so please plan to buy everything from salt/pepper, cooking spray, hand soap, sponge, laundry goods, etc. Considering most places often always have left over goods like foil, baggies, trash bags, dish tablets etc there was absolutely zero (except for bare minimum left over hand soap and dish soap by previous guests) which we found very odd. There was also only 1 wash cloth and 2 very thin dish towels for the entire kitchen, and zero cleaning supplies. The condo complex otherwise had 2 very clean pools, easy beach access, 2 exterior beach showers and at the pools. There is a half court basketball hoop, a small climbing structure and a black wagon for bigger loads for the community to use and share. We even saw a couple electronic lifts for the higher levels for the outer buildings who didn’t have the elevator like we did. There is also tons of parking.

For an older condo it was pretty nice. Loved the balcony and short walk to the beach.

What a gem! The view from the balcony was hard to leave!! We ended up having great weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean. Check-in was as stated/instructed. We had just a short trip and you can’t beat this location!! Sunrises and moonrises were breathtaking!

This was our first time staying at this property, an older-looking condominium site, but with signs of caring maintenance, updating, and upkeep. Our unit, 203, was very comfortable. The location, at the end of the building, was quiet and private. We much appreciated and needed the elevator. We could not have asked for a better ocean view. The amenities were adequate for our needs.

The view from the balcony can’t be beat!! Beautiful location-close to restaurants, and attractions! The unit was comfortable, but could have used a deep cleaning. Overall we loved it and the OBX!

Beautiful unobstructed Atlantic beach view. Loved the dolphins at feeding time ( start watching around 5:30 pm.) The proximity to many area highlights was so perfect and convenient. The restaurants offered many delicious choices and everyone we met there were so friendly and welcoming. Just a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic time while visiting Nags Head. The location was low key and quiet, just what we needed! 🥳

The condo was easy to find, close to dining and shopping, and sits right on the beach with a view of Jeanette's Pier to the left. It was our first trip to the Outer Banks, but it will not be our last. We will return, and we will hope to stay here again.

This comfortable condo is perfectly located on the beach but off the main thoroughfares. Everything you need for a stay at this beautiful beach: large, workable kitchen, easy access, and especially a terrific balcony overlooking the beach. Close to everything. We would certainly stay here again.

We love the oceanfront views… weather wasn’t the best and we can’t control that but it’s so nice just to settle in and be able to see the ocean off the balcony… the dolphins put on a show for us all morning the second day!

The condo was very nice. Needed a good cleaning. Vents were filled with dust and living room furniture was outdated and overused. Beds were wonderful. Heat worked great location was the best.

The view from the balcony was amazing! Condo was clean, comfortable beds, and had the easiest checkin and checkout process. Location was perfect for us, as the condo is centralized between visiting Corolla and Cape Hatteras, with close proximity to Kitty Hawk. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Outer Banks.

Looking for an ocean front place to hang out for a couple of weeks, place was perfect. No complaints, king bed was very comfy, place was spotless, nicely decorated. Great location for getting to all the places we wanted to visit. We'll be back!!
