A lakefront getaway

Una romantica camera da letto principale al piano di sotto ha un letto matrimoniale con vista sul lago, bagno padronale con doccia in vetro, doppi lavandini e ampio armadio. Soggiorno al piano di sotto ha un mezzo bagno, splendido tavolo da pranzo che può ospitare 8, confortevole area salotto, 62 "televisione e finestre sul retro che offre una vista mozzafiato sul lago. My family rented this lakehouse for 4 nights for my mom's 101st birthday celebration. It was just as advertised. The view was the greatest and it was so nice just having coffee out on the covered porch. There were actually 2 tables for eating outside on the back porch which were not in the photos and rails going down the steps to the water which were not pictured. Both were a great surprise. Hosts were very nice and the place was perfect! Would stay here again and recommend to our family and friends.

We wanted our immediate family to be able to stay together for a wedding weekend and this was the perfect house for it. Great communication! There was a bad storm that came through and knocked out power to the area and the owners were super accommodating. Thank you!

This is our ladies group’s second stay at The Blue Heron. I can’t say enough nice things about this property. The owners and caretaker are neighbors and will promptly resolve any issue. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful home wrapped on two sides with a covered deck stocked with tables, chairs, umbrella, grill, and an outside rinsing shower. The kitchen is well stocked making it easy to prepare large meals and the dining table sits 8-10 people. A half bath is conveniently located by the kitchen.
Master bedroom and bath are on the main floor and sleeping accommodations for 8-10 others are on the second floor (three separate bedrooms and an open area with trundle and murphy beds) with two full bathrooms and a laundry closet. There are plenty of towels in the bathrooms and kitchen linen, too.
Two areas on the second floor offer lovely sunset and full moon vistas.
The owners and neighbor are personable, helpful, and thoughtful.
One would be cheating themselves out of a great, relaxing vacation home. We are returning!

We traveled to The Blue Heron for our daughter’s college graduation from Sam Houston State. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our extended family! It is exactly as it is listed on the site. The house is huge, with plenty of room for everyone! You can’t get a better view. You are right on the lake, with a HUGE back porch for watching the sunset! We can’t wait to go back this summer and take our boat!

The house has everything you will need for a getaway (and then some). I felt like the owners went above most VRBO's in what was supplied. I would highly recommend for family gatherings. The house is located in a quiet area (with the exception of one evening where neighbors were a bit rowdy; just bring earplugs). Overall, a great experience!

We came to Conroe for a wedding. We had theee couples stay in this house . Everything was perfect and the house was very comfortable. Morning coffee on the back deck on the lake was spectacular.

The Blue Heron was perfect for what we had planned. It’s on the water and the kids were able to use the paddle boards that they had at the Blue Heron. If you have a boat you can put in at the Shell gas station right now the street and then it’s a short ride over to the house where we then docked. The beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed there which was very convenient. We will book again when coming to lake Conroe. Thank you Blue Heron!

Our family of ten, ages 1-68, had a wonderful weekend. Communication was quick and helpful, the property was beautifully furnished, and the access to the water was great. That deck, though! The back porch/deck was a favorite hangout, even in late July heat. Terrific hosts, great property.

The house was absolutely gorgeous! There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning! The evening sunset was probably my most favorite part! Loved the dock access, super easy to tie up our boat and enjoy each access into the lake! The house was well stocked with basically everything you could ever need! The neighbors directly across the street were awesome! The only slight complaint we’re the intense amount of mosquitos and other bugs in the evenings, but it was still manageable! 10/10 will plan to return to blue heron house again!

We stayed with a group of family for the holiday weekend. The house was spotless. I can't say I've ever stayed in a cleaner VRBO.The house was well stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. The Keurig and the gas grill were not working, but that's an easy fix. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, being in my mid-forties, I appreciate a little plushness these days. I loved that the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We enjoyed the lake views from the deck, it was an extremely quiet neighborhood and area of the lake. This house worked well for our needs.

Beautiful home, with ample room for two families with children.
Right in the waters edge overlooking the lake.
Attentive manager and the owner lives nearby and dropoed off some gas for the grill (it was actually there already) 5 mins after asking.
We all had a great time watching yhe sunsets from the terrace and the kids loved to swim and paddle board as they wished.
Loved the stay, would recommend to anyone.

Very nice property. We enjoyed the stay. Inability to close master bath door and secure was an issue. Doors to Master bedroom need the ability to secure as well.

The family loved the place and will be back. The house is loaded with everything you need. The back porch is awesome. We own 3 VRBO personally amd would trade them for this house any day. If you dont give it a 5 star rating something is wrong with you.

We have a boat and it was a perfect spot to bring the boat and spend the weekend. We had 8 adults and the house was perfect - beautiful views of the lake, nice and clean on the inside and nice back

We came for an extended stay to visit with family, golf and go bass fishing. Great location to fish right off the dock. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Awesome views off the huge deck. Incredible!!
