Great location! Beautiful scenery. A few glitches with the washer backing up into the shower but it did not draw away from having a great time.

It is a beautiful setting the log cabin is cizy and comfortable. Its like being wrapped in a big montana hug..

Great location with great view. The cabin is nice. Hot tub is good. When we arrived the cabin was very cold inside - the heat was off- and it took us a while to figure out how to get it on. I did start a fire in the fireplacebut it took over an hour to get the inside temp up to maybe 60 f. The fireplace eventually kicks butt. The washer and dryer did not work at all. The first two nights we could get no stations on the tv but the third day / last day it started working. The wild life is abundant around the property and area. The wifi worked great. A smoke detector in the master bed had no battery in it. The back deck porch light did not work - hard to see the night bears without it. Overall nice but it needs some maintenance attention.

We loved celebrating our 20th anniversary at this quiet, private cabin. Just the right size! We loved waking up every morning to the beautiful mountain meadow view. Taking this view in while soaking in the hot tub was the best part! The property is clean and has everything you need, thank you!

This was a great cabin in a beautiful location! The cabin was very comfortable and being able to sit outside in the evenings and for coffee in the morning was amazing with no other sounds other than nature. The stars at night were stunning! We would love to stay again!

This was an extraordinary vacation! I had lived in Montana years ago but had never been to this region. The area was breathtaking, and the fire pit and hot tub added so much to the experience. The owner and property manager were available and responsive. Jerry's Restautant was perfect for food, drink and atmosphere. There was even a meteor shower. For those who love the quiet beauty of nature and friendly locals, this is perfect. I will be staying here again.

This was our second stay at this property, and we were very excited to be back. Unfortunately, there was a communication mishap about our date of arrival, and the cabin hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived at 7:00 p.m. -bed was unmade, floors dirty, food scraps in kitchen sink, and a toilet that was truly gross. We couldn’t reach owner, so made do the first night. We cleaned kitchen and bathroom ourselves the next morning. We learned there was also a known issue with the septic system that didn’t get fully dealt with, so on our last morning we had raw sewage backing up in the shower. Disappointing for a place we really loved during our first stay. I hope they can resolve the issues soon, as it’s a great cabin in a beautiful setting!

We had traveled over 3000 miles on our road trip by the time we arrived in Montana. We were so excited to find our quiet log cabin in the woods. It was exactly as the pictures showed. We enjoyed the quiet, the hot tub and the beautiful scenery. We hope to come back again some day.

Me and my wife rented this cabin for Christmas and New Years and it was our best Vrbo experience yet. The cabin was clean, in a great location and very well stocked to accommodate all of your needs. Scott was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a genuine Montana experience. We will most certainly return.

I had no idea how much I needed this vacation and time out of the hustle and bustle. I literally never wanted to leave! So comfortable and relaxing! Best vacation ever! The hot tub was very relaxing. We did not use the television or the stereo; however, the internet connection was fast enough for us to watch a couple of movies on our laptop one night. The views of the mountains and the pastures with horses was truly unforgettable! We were surprised at how comfortable the bed was as well and there was plenty of wood for the wood stove. Overall we are planning on coming back again!

Views of sunrise and sunset great, very comfy, log fireplace very welcome on cold evenings, and enjoyed wildlife ie. horses, turkeys deer and great sauna. We will return again

The best little home in the mountains we have stayed in! Secluded, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and overall amazing!! We brought our dogs and they had an absolute blast!! It was a far drive from Texas but oh so worth the 30hrs to drive.

This was honestly the perfect spot for us. We were in town for a family wedding, and this was the perfect place for us to get away from everything and have a little time to ourselves. The location was perfect, close to Eureka, where our family is located, but still felt secluded and private. We can’t wait to return.

Stayed here for three days and the location was perfect for what we wanted…So quiet and peaceful. We have absolutely zero complaints; the entire experience was very pleasant and we hope we can visit again soon.

Only complaint is when we arrived the shower seemed as if it had not been cleaned due to hair being everywhere and there was dirty towels in the washer. Perfect get away for me and my grandson while his parents were backpacking at Glacier NP. Fortine is about as far away from urban America as you can get yet still have the basic amenities (internet, nearby bar/restaurant, and golf courses). The cabin is perfect--very comfortable even when the two backpackers returned the last night, making 4 adults and a teenager. Loved the quiet at night and the outdoor hot tub.

We stayed here while we were in town for a wedding and I don't think we could have made a better choice. Tucked away from the road, other people, etc, you really have the whole space to yourself. It was so nice to be able to come back and unwind in the hot tub. There is also plenty of space for outdoor entertaining if you are looking to do something like that. If you're feeling like you need a little more to do in the evenings, Jerry's Saloon is a great little bar quite close - you don't even have to get back on the highway.The internet worked great and we appreciated having a landline, however we could not figure out how to work the TVs. It was very warm in the summer and no AC, but we were fine just letting the breeze blow through the windows. Lots of blankets and towels and plenty of firewood, so I imagine it is quite a cozy spot for the winter.I would definitely try to rent this again next time we are heading up to the area.
