Nice place to relax between activities. Amazing selection of books for your enjoyment, also some board games. Close to Tech Campus. Bed was a little squeaky, but pretty comfortable.

The house was clean and well supplied. A light outside at the entrance would be helpful in seeing the door code at night.

I can't wait to return! Your house was super clean and cozy. You were in the same neighborhood as my Tech student and it was so fun to visit! We will definitely book again next time we are in town!

The charm of this home is how wonderfully the homes history has been preserved. Wood slat plaster walls, dial electric switch likely connected by hot nail. Wood floors, baseboard molding, doors all Lilly original. We stayed here for work but I would not hesitate to bring my family here. Oh, and the owners are wonderful. Even provided coffee, which is rear for the reasonable cost.

This charming vintage home is perfect for a couple or parents with young kids. My wife and I used it as a base to explore up and down the Keweenaw Peninsula and also over to the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. We really enjoyed visiting the area and staying at this house. In particular, it features an interesting and eclectic book collection--something I don't often see in vacation rentals.

The listing was completely accurate as described, and we appreciated the convenience of this home in Hancock to the entire Houghton / Hancock greater area. Definitely enough space and great accommodations!

The property was in a great location and easy to find. It was about an hour from Copper Harbor and right up the road from the Quincy mine.
The space itself was clean and great for our family of 5. We had room for a pack and play in the master bedroom and the shared room with twin beds worked well for our older two kiddos.
Kayleen was great with communication. I would highly recommend this property! Thanks for a great stay!

Accurate description - the home was very clean and loaded with books, games, dishes, cooking items, and a TV. We had a very pleasant time in Hancock and in the house. It's walking distance from downtown (though there are some hills)! It was warm/muggy a couple days, so the whole house AC was appreciated. Plenty of parking.
Would recommend highly and would stay there again. Loads of museums, nature activities, and events in the summer.

Quick trip to vist Michigan tech with my son. House is in Hancock and a less than 10 minute drive to campus. Quiet neighborhood. Only a couple houses off of US 41 but noise was not an issue.House itself was very comfortable and as described. Would certainly stay there again.

Property was lovely. We left a personal item behind and the host was kind enough to call us immediately so we could retrieve it before we got too far away. Would recommend to others.

We wanted something close to Michgan Tech to visit a family member at school. The house was perfectly located. The host was very responsive to all our questions. The living arrangements were comfortable and many of the little things were thought of by the property owner. We had a great stay and would book again in the future.

This was a perfect stay for my family & I! The location, the communication, & the home itself made my first VRBO experience flawless. I loved all of the vintage touches, including the clawfoot tub, the photographs, and the built-ins.
They were also well equipped to combat boredom- be it a book or a game!
They had everything we needed + more. I highly recommend a stay

Perfect Little House to "Come Home To"
Great first visit to the Keewanau Peninsula. Enjoyed being able to walk "down" into both towns for shopping and eating and hike back "up" to the house. Very quiet neighborhood and clean, comfortable accomodations for our sister vacation. Nice to have air conditioning to relax in after each busy day. A wonderful vacation was had by all.

Quiet street that is less than a five minute drive from anywhere in Houghton and a great launching pad to the rest of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Plenty of amenities and room for several people to hang out.

Clean and homey
We had a nice stay visiting Michigan Tech. There was lots of snow fall in the area but everything was cleared for us. We made breakfast using the pans and utensils. A regular coffee pot was provided with filters. Lots of towels and a hot shower. Thank you for a nice stay!!!
