Nice location and easy to get to the national park(10min). The property management team responded quickly and was easy to communicate with. It was cleaned enough, but you can tell it’s a little worn and is popular rental property that was cheaply refinished. But it’s comfortable and have some nice additions like a crib, beach umbrella/chairs to borrow. You can hear your neighbors on the other side if they are partying (not the greatest for a sleeping baby).

Stayed for a weekend with four adult women for a shopping weekend along the lakeshore. Not at the house very long each day but everything we needed was there and functioning. The only suggestions I have are that you provide pillows for the pull out couch and a fitted sheet for that. Very clean and kitchen well stocked!

The rental was cute but I wouldn't say cozy. Bring slippers or extra socks as the floors were so dirty our bare feet were black from walking on them. The rental is a nice space though with plenty of room and was great for my husband and one year old. The beach really was a five minute walk away and the small zoo just a couple extra minute walk. The Indiana Dunes National and State Parks are both short drives as well. If you need groceries or other supplies there is a Meijer close by to either go get them or have them dropped off. The checkout time is 10am which is a little early especially when you're asked to wash and dry all the towels but we managed. I would recommend this property for rental if for nothing else other than its location and room.

The location was perfect for what we wanted, the beach. Overall the house had what we needed. The beach was beautiful and we watched the sunset each night. There are a few things that need fixed. The patio chairs are coming apart, the twin beds are a bit noisy when you move.

Had all the things we needed for a short girls trip. Perfect location.

Easy to make reservations, easy to check in and out, clean, had everything you needed, walking distance to beach, zoo and park! We will be coming back!

We like coming to this property. Relatively clean. Missing a few things like a toaster and a lightbulb for the lamp in the bedroom.

The property was in a great location! Close to the beach a 2-3 min walk. Also, close to the zoo, splash pad and park. Our family had a wonderful time.

Great location that is actually within walking distance to the beach. The area we accessed the beach was not crowded at all which was so nice!! Owner was prompt to answer any questions. Be sure to pack extra toilet paper and any condiments needed but walmart isn't too far a drive if you forget anything. Will def keep this location in mind for my next trip.

Great space! Supplied towels, beach chairs, and cooking and kitchen essentials. A 5 min walk to the beach, and nice outdoor space. Owners responsive to questions. Had a nice long weekend. We’d come back again!

The floors were dirty and the beaches were closed that week, otherwise everything was very good. We appreciated the owners helps in locating a local area to access a beach.

The property was as advertised, plenty of space for a family of 4. Location for beach access/zoo/park was great but the beach and park were closed due to COVID. Plenty of great places to eat nearby (Matey's, Shoreline and Bubbles Ice Cream were our favorites). Very close to the outlet stores but several were closed due to COVID. My only complaint about the house is that there should be a mat at the front door to wipe sand off your shoes.

The property was very nice and just what we needed for four adults and a baby. While the Zoo /Washington Park was closed that week, the property was centrally located to where you could visit other areas. I would highly recommend this property. The communication was excellent and timely.

Cute house. Great location to beach. Stocked well with all beach needs,condiments,blow dryer,short on toilet paper bring some extra. Plenty of other paper products. Some dust bunnies under couch and behind furniture we found when looking for our lost toys. Ceiling fans need dusting. Everything else very clean. We will definitely stay again

Our family wanted to get away while staying safe from covid and this was perfect. We got a code for the keypad to enter so it was a no contact check in. As soon as we opened the door we could tell the place looked and smelled freshly cleaned. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The place looked just like the pictures.. We ordered groceries from Walmart and they dropped them off on the deck for us, so again no contact. The house was in a safe neighborhood we left wet beach gear outside on the deck and felt safe with it there. We walked to the beach its a very short walk away. The beach was beautiful and the water was perfect. It was never crowded and everyone had their own space. The only other place we went was to the zoo which is also within walking distance. They staggered entry times using reservations to keep people distant and only outdoor areas were open. We enjoyed it and appreciated their efforts to keep visitors safe. This was the perfect place to get away and enjoy the beach while still being able to keep to ourselves and feeling safe during the pandemic. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here with my husband and my 7 and 5 year old daughters. We all loved the place! Very clean, nicely decorated, stocked with most all we needed. It was nice to be isolated and self-sufficient with a grill, full kitchen, etc. during the pandemic. Nearby beach (Sheridan, I think?) was great. We went to Indiana Dunes one day (about a 30 min drive) and actually preferred the walkable Sheridan beach because it was way less crowded and just as nice. The toys and beach stuff (like Boogie Boards) were a nice touch and much appreciated by our girls! The only negative was that I reached out to the property owner several times, starting 5 days before checkin, to get the checkin instructions. They didn’t get back with me until the day before, after contacting HomeAway (VRBO), who got in contact with them on my behalf. That was a bit nerve wracking, but when they finally did get back with me, the instructions were super detailed and great to have! I would imagine that was a fluke, so all in all, I would recommend!

Everything was clean and modern. Easy access to beach, which had beautiful sand and clear water! Overall great trip for us!

This house made for a nice family getaway and was well stocked in the kitchen as well as with beach necessities. Very close walk to the public beach access and fairly close to Washington Beach/zoo. Due to covid the zoo was closed so I can’t comment to the zoo itself. The water (early June) was maybe 60 degrees so not swim worthy to even my kids. I would go back and recommend to others.

This was a great place to stay!! Two minutes from the beach!! The kitchen had plenty of utensils that came in use for at home cooking. The neighborhood was perfect!! Bathroom was well stocked with towels for all four of us!! And the beach chairs came in handy!! We just wished the twin beds weren't as squeaky and dining chairs were a little more comfortable for our backs. But otherwise great place to get away from the busy city and suburban life!! Can't wait to come back again!! And Hannah is a great communicator when answering questions about the place. We appreciated everything!!

My boyfriend & two small kids are very pleased with this rental property! It was clean, updated & conveniently located close to beach & town. It is in walking distance to the beach, park, zoo, splash park & more. There's a casino, outlet mall, coffe shops, icecream shops, fishing, boat rides, restaurants & more all in 5 - 10 min drive. The beaches are beautiful but Michigan lake was on the cold side so I had to work my way into the water, but my kids played in the water like no big deal. Thanks for the wonderful vacation spot!

We had a fabulous stay at Prarie Drive. The location was exactly as we expected and the walk to the beach was so close and easy to access. There is a great little place you can walk to called Dune Billies that has great pastries and breakfast. If we have the opportunity to go again we would stay here in a minute.

The house is just as pictured, beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and the outside deck is a really nice place to have a cocktail and just hang out. The location is convenient as we were able to walk to the beach, zoo, park and town. We had a great time and hope to return in the future.

We traveled with little kids so being able to walk places close by was perfect for us!

We had a great time and the rental is very nice. Clean and accomadating. All you need is there. Close to zoo, park and the beach. Nice eateries and cute shops in town. We enjoyed our visit.Great for families. Much to do, even if you should have a rainy day. We had a couple although they didn't last long. There are a few games in a chest in the house and beach toys to use too. Great to have a washer and dryer too. Nice deck to sit outside on and a grill. Our car was safely parked right in front of the house . Can't think of anything else we would've wanted. We'd recommend this property and go again for sure.

This was a very nice place e to stay for the weekend with my girlfriends. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach along with the porch.

The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The scenery was beautiful and had lots of things for us to do!
