We went for the Winter Carnival, and it was perfect in every way. Great location (could easily walk downtown in ~20 minutes), great and fully stocked kitchen, and very clean stay.

We loved this home. It was located close to town, restaurants & lake. It was quiet, clean, well stocked and just a sweet place to stay. My daughter and granddaughters loved the upstairs. Kudos to the owners. It felt like I was staying at a welcoming family home.

This home was so perfect for spending time together. We had 6 adults and 2 children. The home was supplied with all the kitchen items, towels and a great deck. We packed a lunch each day and had some great beach time.

Lots of room to spread out
We loved the proximity to stores and parks and hiking. We heard a bit too much construction noise but the manager came by to explain it was road work. Loved The Cutwater restaurant on the lake. Comfortable for a family of four.

Hanging with friends
Had a great stay. Very clean house. Pretty decent parking had three trucks one with a trailer and it was all good. The garage came in handy too. The entry way/mud room is excellent for drying winter gear. Would definitely give 5 stars if the coffee pot was easier to run. I'm dependant on coffee so maybe not a big deal for others. Overall great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay in a winter wonderland
Our family and friends had a great stay. It has all the kitchen one needs. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Beautiful view out the very large living room windows. Location is perfect - close enough to the action downtown but not to the 3rd Street traffic!
Only negative is it is not especially baby-proof - little crawlers seem to be magnetically attracted to baseboard heaters, window blind drawstrings, and electrical outlets. But a little diligence will keep them out of trouble.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everyone was very clean and well maintained. We were able to walk downtown from this location! Definitely hope to be back for another stay soon!

Perfect!
This is a wonderful property that would we would highly recommend. It was extremely clean and comfortable; we especially liked the setting that was blocks from downtown McCall yet in an extremely quiet neighorhood. Our favorite part was the large back deck where we spent a lot of time relaxing. (The detached garage was great, too.)

Excellent place to call home for a weekend.
The place was exactly as advertised and very clean and cozy. We were greeted with the neighborhood deer. It was a great place for our 2.5 year old son as well. We would stay again next time we are in town.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, we really enjoyed the deck, which faces south. Cabin was furnished with everything we needed. My only suggestion is to take your own fans if McCall weather will be 85 degrees—there’s no AC which we missed at night. Recommended in every way!

Lovely cabin in McCall...very close to town. Nice kitchen, large living area. We were there for a family wedding and it was great for 5 of us. There is a full size washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was even nicer than the photos we saw! It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to have a memorable vacation in McCall. The location was ideal to the town and the hiking trails. Thank you for your hospitality!

A very homey rental in quite neighborhood
A very homey rental with everything you need to feel comfortable. Great location in a quite neighborhood, easy access to Lake Payette and downtown McCall.
Exterior of home is beautiful, we really enjoyed our mornings and evening relaxing on the back patio.
My only critique for homeowners would be to replace the carpet.

We had such a good time in this quiet, lovely neighborhood in McCall. This house is exactly what it is represented to be in VRBO. Had the chance to talk to the managers. Absolutely lovely!
Within walking distance of McCall, where were greeted by four young deer one morning . This will definitely be a repeat destination for me and my family.

Home was cozy, and quiet.
Home was nice, surroundings very serene, we all enjoyed our stay. We did have to utilize all the fans due to the heat, but it was not a big deal because we were out biking, boating, floating or enjoying the surroundings during the day. We didn't want to leave.

Nicely furnished excellent property
We spent a weekend at this property with out of town relatives, and enjoyed the stay very much. Particularly we were impressed with the service from the agency which enabled a last-minute reservation and the property was very well-equipped for our needs. We've rented before through VRBO and this home had everything we needed for cooking family dinners, including a great weber grill which we used for a delicious steak dinner for everyone!

Perfect!
This was just perfect. It's a lovely location, nestled in the trees, feels private, and yet is close to everything. The "cabin" is a large house with everything. It was super clean and comfortable. We truly felt at home. We loved the fireplace and deck and trees.

Lovely Home, immaculately cared for and well appointed
We spent a week here at the end of September 2015 and could not have been more pleased with the comfort and accommodations afforded. The place was immaculate when we arrived. The house is spacious and warms quickly. The beds are comfortable and also warm. The outside deck is sunny and furnished. There is no 'roughing it' in this rental - it has all the necessities and luxuries of home - internet, cable, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fully appointed kitchen, plenty of dishes, cups, bowls, plates, towels, sheets and bedding. The central wood burning fireplace is easy to operate and maintain.
In addition to these comforts it's close to the town or McCall and its restaurants, shopping and Lake Payette. It's hard to imagine any person or group who wouldn't find this house and location perfect - even if you want to get away from all the amenities of the modern world, they're here or you can turn them off. It would be a great hub for an active vacation or a cozy retreat in the dead of winter.

Beautiful Cabin, Awesome Town!
My girlfriend and I spent two nights in the cabin as a rest stop on our road trip across the country. The house is spacious yet cozy, and the wood burning fireplace is an especially nice touch that made it hard for us leave! We were only 2 people, but this place would be great for a large group. Easily overlooked features like the ipod dock/speakers, washer/dryer, local hiking guides and fast wifi to name a few made our time that much more enjoyable. The cabin is very clean and, conveniently, walking distance from downtown McCall.
The owner/manager were very helpful and responsive in the weeks leading up to our trip and check-in/out was a breeze.
Lake Payette is picturesque, and the surrounding area was great for hiking and biking in the summertime. I'm going to have to find an excuse to come back next summer!

Lovely, Cozy Vacation Home in the Perfect Location!
We were only here for two nights, and so my main complaint is that we weren't here longer! The house had everything we needed and then some: games, hiking guidebooks, fireplace, etc etc. Everything was clean and comfortable. AND, we were so close to everything that we wanted to do in McCall; eat, drink, hike, bike around the lake, soak up the general prettiness of it all. We were there during the summer, but this property is also ideally suited for the winter. I'd recommend it for anyone!

October is a beautiful time to go to McCall
Who says October is the "off-season"? Beautiful fall colors, crisp walk along the lake, drive to Brundage to check it out pre-snow, prime seats at the window with lake views at Shore Lodge, little traffic, no lines at stores - October is my favorite time to visit McCall! And to top it off, this home is amazing! It was just the right time of year to start a small fire in the wood stove and sip a cup of coffee (coffee maker and grinder included) while reading over the many McCall travel books/pamphlets/brochures you had for your guests. Thanks for a beautiful weekend!

Family Reunion
We spent 4 days at Cottage in the Pines for a family reunion. The home is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. They provide all the amenities needed for a stay. You don't have to pack a thing except your clothes. The open floor plan, living room, dining room and kitchen, accommodates a large group extremely well. The wrap around deck is perfect for BBQ dinners and has a lovely view., 5 minutes from downtown McCall and all the shops and restaurants. A beautiful vacation spot! Very easy access, drive right up to the front door on the circular drive. Looking forward to visiting again. And, breakfast at the Pancake House....yummm!

Beautiful, Cozy Cabin in the Woods, Great for Large Groups!
My friends and I stayed at this cabin in the woods for girls ski getaway weekend in March and it was such a great experience. The main floor consists mainly of a great room, with a wonderful kitchen, dining room and living room that can host a large group comfortably. The cabin has been beautifully updated and cared for and it's location in the woods provides a perfect mountain town backdrop with the convenience of a 5 minute drive to the town center (and in the summer a beautiful walk).
The house comfortably slept our group, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of common space. It was warm and cozy for our winter trip, but I can only imagine that the deck in the summer would be a wonderful spot for BBQing in the summer.
We spent each night hanging out in the living room around the fire. Hope to return sometime soon!

Girls Week in the Pines
What a wonderful house and area to spend a week in! We loved the comfort of the house and sitting on the deck watching the birds, deer and even a fox. The three of us each had our own rooms so it was total relaxation at its finest. The house certainly accommodates many more people and is quite roomy. Wonderful touches abound such as a full kitchen, coffee grinder, washer/dryer, iphone/ipod docking speakers, TV w/Cable and DVD player. It is very clean and actually much nicer than the photos suggest. The huge windows with a view of the trees and the stars at night was so beautiful. Lake Payette was just great and it was a wonderful time to enjoy the area with all the crowds gone. We highly recommend spending time at Cottage in the Pines! Don't forget to visit the Lake Shore Hotel spa!
