Homeowner was wonderful to work with! The cabin is beautiful and well stocked! The view of the river from the porch is amazing! Peaceful, quiet neighborhood, will definitely go back this fall! Grandsons are from California and were both so impressed with the cabin, fishing, the whole area!

Beautiful location and views. I enjoyed many walks around the circle in the morning and afternoon. At one time there were 12 deer next door along the driveway. We were able to float the river several times in the tubes provided - weather was perfect this trip!

Great weekend! Cabin is beautiful and plenty of space and Amenities! This is definitely a must stay when you are looking for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely stay again for sure!

We have enjoyed this cabin multiple times over the past several years for my husband’s annual birthday fishing trip. It is always a great time! Cannot say enough about the experience! The cabin is beautiful, inviting and very comfortable. We love coming back each year!

We loved our stay at Brown Cabin. You drive into this cleared land nestled in the mountains to find this beautiful log cabin on the river. The home is decorated with beautiful furniture, Christmas decorations, and a warm inside fire place we sat around watching college football. The back yard has a nice fire pit with four benches around it. The deck overlooking the water was our hang out. When i look for a cabin for our family, it must have the following;
Flat land to water, fire place inside and out, and able to catch fish! This cabin checked all of that. My boys caught tons of different trout and we were blessed with a snow fall. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was even more beautiful in person. Everything was perfect. The cabin was spacious, clean, stocked, great fishing, and so much more. Really enjoyed the time we spent there and will be back.

Such a great property and stay! The river view is perfect! The kitchen is well equipped and all of the rooms were very comfy. The ping pong table, bonfire area, and river were all fully utilized. 30 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with a general store (with bbq) 2 miles up the road. Highly recommend!

The pictures online do not do this beautiful cabin justice! So much more spacious in person! And so CLEAN!!!! Loved loved the water pressure in the upstairs shower! Having long hair, that is so important to me. The kitchen is open concept and having cooked most of our meals, so very much appreciated a well stocked kitchen. The whole cabin was awesome! Loved the river in the back where the kids even caught a few fish! The firepit was great for relaxing with a glass of wine, roasting marshmallows, hot dogs, etc. Loved how I could still keep an eye on the kids fishing while either on the huge wrap around porch or at the fire pit. And the huge field in front of the house was so picturesque and perfect!!!! Can’t say enough great things about this cabin. Didn’t want to leave!!! We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I have stayed here twice — both times during early December for his birthday. He loves fishing out behind the cabin, and I love to curl up inside with a good book! The cabin is equipped with all the comforts of home but is situated in a beautiful mountain valley on the river. A delightful getaway!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin because we love it so much! Everything about it is perfect!

Focusing on the location and river access will result in a few surprises when you first walk in. The property is listed as a 3-bedroom 2 bath home directly on the Toccoa river. While that is all true, visitors will be pleased to find that it also has a huge playroom upstairs complete with a 4th full bed, a ping pong table, a game table all set to play a fun game of checkers, and a video game machine. A pleasant surprise when the weather restricts access to the river and the great fishing. Recommend this home highly.

Our first trip to the cabin was in 2011, we stayed one other time after that before we outgrew it due to our expanding family, Grandkids. We love the Suches, Toccoa River area. This visit was for my wife and I as well as her parents. Far and away our Most favorite cabin to rent. The Browns are very interested in you enjoying your stay and will make sure the cabin is in top top shape. If you are looking for a cabin in this area and this one is available, BOOK IT

This was a wonderful property in a great location. The back porch overlooks the river and provides an awesome place to relax. The cabin was extremely well stocked in the kitchen. The cabin was immaculate with beautiful views of the mountains from the front of the house. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a mountain retreat.

We literally only left this cabin one time during our stay over Labor Day weekend. The cabin is lovely and the it was perfect for the three couples in our group. Loved the back porch and the deck out on the river. We spent most of our time out there fishing and visiting with the kayakers and tubers on the river. We are already thinking about another trip.

The house was absolutely AMAZING!!!! What I would like other people to know is that our boys were dreaming to a different kind of fishing vacation. You are not allowed to take the fish so be ready to have a nice steak with you . It's catch and release and you are allowed to "fish " in only a small area . Neighbors were yelling at our kids which was a little stressful but ....if you are not planning to fish for dinner the house and location are 5+ Stars. The owner too . Beautiful stay at the end .

After a shaky start, a power outage soon after arrival, we had a fantastic time.
The weather was great, we grilled, and visited with our own children and grandchildren.
We saw a plethora of wildlife including: a juvenile bear that walked the entire porch from front stairs to back stairs passing by my husband as he sat looking at the river; numerous deer each morning and evening while walking Woodeye Circle, and twin fawns played in the front yard on day three; a snake made an appearance in the river, the fish visited daily and each trip into town presented sightings of raccoons, opossums, rabbits, and more deer.
We will share these memories for s lifetime and we have you to THANK for loaning your beautiful family retreat to our family. We hope to visit again!

This cabin is located in a beautiful spot on the Toccoa river. We were there to celebrate our granddaughter’s 13th birthday. The cabin had everything she loves to do play in mountain creeks, fish, go to various hiking spots and be in the mountains. The house came with very good quality tubes and a put in spot just minutes down the road that brings you right around to the cabin. There’s a great deck outback that you can fish off of or just sit out there and enjoy the sounds of the river. There’s easy access into the water from behind the house for tubing as well. The cabin is very well appointed lots of cabins we stay in have minimal Pots pans utensils to prepare food with this one had everything we needed. I would say the only drawback for us was most sites that we wanted to go visit were at least 45 minutes away and any major grocery store was about 30 minutes away. However, there is a sweet little country store a couple miles down the road that can get you through till you can go to a major grocery. All in all we had a wonderful time it’s a great property I would highly recommend it.

Always excellent. 2nd time we’ve rented from the Brown’s. The cabin is amazing!! Relaxing and the fish are biting. Enjoyed the mornings listening to the river.

This was our third year staying at the Toccoa River House we enjoyed the home and time spent out in the yard and on the porch. Beautiful setting. Great family game nights and meals. Home is beautifully decorated.

This property was outstanding! We were able to go fishing in nearby creeks and enjoy more fishing right in front of the cabin - hubby caught a big Brown and a couple of Rainbow trout. Cabin is secluded and well taken care of - plan to go back next year for sure!

The property is nicely located right on the river. Pretty much everything you need is there, our weekend was wet with rain so we ended up cooking in the crockpot.
The porch is nice to sit on and listen to the river.

Everything was amazing about this cabin. There was so much room for my family of six, and everything was so clean with so many things to keep us entertained. The owners were so nice, and helped us with everything we needed. There was also so much fish in the river behind us. The monster trout was everywhere, and made fishing such a fun experience for my family. The area itself is so nice with an amazing view. Everyone in my family loved this cabin so much!
