We had a mostly adult holiday but invited daughter w kids to spend one night in loft. It worked out perfectly. We had a great time sightseeing and hanging out at the house. We used the fire pit, ping pong table and bikes.

Murphy’s KipDee home and gardens were delightful and welcoming. We found it to be very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds in the house are very comfortable. We didn’t use the clever bunkhouse annex. We enjoyed reading about the earlier owners. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed! We hope to return !

Great spot for a family vacation. The loft above the garage is great if extra room is needed. We enjoyed being close to Door County Ice Cream Factory and were able to take advantage of the shuttle from the ice cream shop to downtown Sister Bay.

Very nice, older home. Plenty big for 5 person family. Kids loved the loft above the garage. Parents loved the 4 season back porch. Ice cream shop 100 yards away. Easy access to town. Beautiful yard and lots of sitting/gathering areas. 2 showers and a large kitchen for a home of its age. Ping Pong and games in lower level of finished garage. Really couldn't ask for much more.

We stayed here for a second time. It is a very pleasant home-away-from home place to stay. We were able to enjoy many activities in Door County, including ice cream, the beach and Wild Tomato pizza in Sister Bay.

Great spot for us to celebrate turning 50! Comfortable and well equipped house. Gracious and informative hosts. Door County was just beginning its summer season, but there was plenty to do and see. I hope we get the chance to visit again and we will definitely seek to stay at KipDee Cottage.

This is such a charming, cozy cottage. We were very pleased with all of the amenities, charm, and location. It was lovely to see the photos on the wall and read stories about the former owners. Can't wait to try this home again in the summer. Location was perfect and really gave you the Door County vibe. Don't forget to check out the holiday store across the street!

Murphy’s “KipDee” cottage was perfect for our family of 6. The farmhouse was so charming, had such a beautiful well maintained yard, and was close to everything! We would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again. Thank you Jon and Lucy!

Celebrated a quiet birthday weekend with the family. Great location, close to everything we wanted to do in the area. Owner was responsive with information in advance and for any questions. Would stay again and look forward to making a family tradition with such great memories!

Lovely home very close to downtown sister bay. We had a lot of young children with us and it was a perfect spot for them. They especially loved playing in the loft and in the beautiful yard.

This was an adorable cottage in Sister Bay. The location was great, and it easily slept our group of 7 people. It was nice having the loft space- our kids really enjoyed it. It did get pretty warm in the bedrooms in the main house, even with the doors open and hallway AC unit running. The kitchen had plenty of dishes to use, but no dishwasher, so be prepared to hand wash everything. Overall, we had a lovely stay and recommend this cottage.

We live around the corner and needed more space for our extended family. The KipDee was perfect! Beautiful yard and adorable, clean cottage and sleeping loft above the garage! Our family said the beds were the most comfortable they have ever slept on! Jon was awesome to work with and we highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property with an amazing location in Sister Bay. 3 minute drive to the downtown area. We loved the decor, sitting on the porch and in the sunroom with morning coffee, and getting ice cream down the street. The owners were very easy to communicate with and the check in process was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Location in Sister Bay was nice. We had an overall good experience with the exception of the mattresses. Could be a personal preference on my part, but the master bed was topped with a foam cushion which was uncomfortable.. would also add a dishwasher...having to wash dishes by hand is not ideal..

Hosts were very communicative, property was just outside of town in a quiet area which made for relaxing evenings, cottage was clean, well furnished and very detailed in decor. Everything you would ever need is accessible at the house. Check-in and out process was also extremely easy. Would absolutely recommend if you’re in the area.

It was our first time visiting Door County. What a delightful experience we had, both enjoying the area and our stay at KipDee Cottage. We came for a wedding that happened to be on my birthday in Sister Bay. The location to the venue was perfect. The cottage was beyond charming, comfortable and well cared for. Beautiful house for exploring Door County Peninsula
The house was very cute and offered a great location for exploring Door County. We could relax before/after our adventures in a peaceful setting. The outdoor space and couple of yard games made for an enjoyable stay.

Super charming home
This place was perfect for our GF getaway. The place is loaded with rooms to sit and play games. Our favorite place to be was the front porch. The landscaping is just beautiful.

Charming cottage
We were in town for a family reunion and loved staying at Kipdee cottage. The cottage is comfortable and charming. It has all the things needed to make a family comfortable. Plenty of towels and kitchenware. Super nice that hosts provided soaps, shampoos and paper products. Pantry had the basics to help with dinner prep too! The cottage is filled with charming decor and plenty of comfortable beds for restful nights. Our teens took advantage of the ice cream factory right across the street and the shopping in sister bay was a treat. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely and well cared for cottage.

Quiet little getaway
We LOVED the location of this property and all the amenities. It's very doable to have two families stay on property with the loft above the garage. The house is styled beautifully, very warm and cozy which just adds to the appeal. We will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you Jon and Lucy!

KipDee Cottage-Sister Bay, WI
Fantastic property super close to beach, downtown Sister Bay and other communities on the Bay. We didn't utilize the loft above the garage but it would be fantastic for a second family or younger members of a group to have privacy. Hosts were prompt, courteous, informative and allowed us to check in earlier in the day. Bonus for our stay. We would definitely like to stay again.

Girls wine weekend trip
Thanks to our wonderful hosts, this annual girls trip was the best one yet! We felt so at home in this lovely cottage. The property is close to town but far enough away to feel private and peaceful. Just a gorgeous place to spend some time relaxing. Fun was definitely had by all…can’t wait to return. Thanks so much, Jon and Lucy!!

Cozy home in a private location with plenty of outdoor space.
Our family had a great stay at KipDe. This home was clean and well stocked. The addition of a huge room with sleeping quarters over the garage was a welcome bonus. Excellent communication with the owners. Highly recommended!

The location was great - quick bike ride to the beach, eating & shopping.
The property was laid out well and felt secluded.

Door County Cozy Cottage
Kip Dee is the perfect Door County cottage. It is located for easy access to all of the activities offered in Sister Bay and other Door County towns, but it offers a private haven. The front and back yards offer multiple seating areas including a fire pit for late night ghost stories and s’mores. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee. The home buildings are incredibly well stocked, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We are already planning a return visit.

Wonderful stay with family
We spent 5 wonderful days at the KipDee cottage. The kids loved staying in the loft and the house itself was cozy and cute. We didn’t have any issues with no bathroom in the loft. We had a great time playing games in the yard. They have bean bag toss, croquet, bikes and kayaks available to use. There’s a fire pit for s’mores outside that was great. Very close to Sister Bay (driving), but far enough away to feel some privacy. There is a great ice cream shop just down the street that we walked to every night. Very clean and hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Adorable house with gorgeous yard in quaint town
We had a wonderful stay at this terrific property. The house is beautifully decorated and the yard is amazing. Our three young adult sons loved the loft space. The location is great as well. You can walk to a fun ice cream shop down the steeet or walk a bit further into downtown Sister Bay.
Door County has so much to offer: cute towns with great restaurants, beautiful natural areas with good hiking, and scenic drives. There are fun farm markets to visit.
The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

AMAZING!
I don't even know where to start! First of all, the location is so good, located right in the heart of Sister Bay. The town is super cute with tons of restaurants, shops and things to do (water activities). The cottage itself is the cutest and most homey place I've every stayed, they did a great job a decorating! They have everything you need from games to towels and kitchen utilities. And Jon and Lucy themselves are the sweetest and most accommodating people, don't walk, RUN and rent this place, you won't regret it! Can't wait to be back :)
