Making Memories did not disappoint - clean, a well-stocked kitchen, and the toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch. The owner was very accessible and responsive - she alerted us as to the beach closures related to the shark attacks. Note that the beaches were only closed for one day. The floorplan was outstanding for our party - 8 adults and 4 under 4. Plenty of floorspace in the larger bedrooms for a pack and play (we even put one in the master bedroom closet :) ). Loved the drop zone inside by the back door for beach bags, towels and shoes. 5 minute walk to the beach or the family pool. Shady front porch as it faces one of the shaded common areas. We love Carillon - our second time going. The beaches aren't as crowded as 30A yet you are just a short drive to the 30A shops and restaurants.

There are so many highlights to mention about our stay at Making Memories, but I have to begin with the neighborhood itself. The house is nestled in a delightful corner of a safe and beautiful gated community with twinkling palm trees that is a short walk to the ocean. The house itself is A+. From the dreamy beds to the inviting porches and the fully stocked kitchen, I can honestly say that this home tops our vrbo “bests” list! The cherry on top were the cushioned sun chairs with umbrellas reserved oceanside for us every day, as well as the excellent recommendations and communication from the hosts. If we are fortunate enough to return to Carillon Beach, we will return to Making Memories!!

We absolutely loved everything about this house. The kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you may want or need to prepare any meal. The mattresses were very comfortable and a hit with the entire family. Michele was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond. The house was extremely clean which is important to our family. We loved the layout of this home. It fit the needs of our family perfectly. We will be booking Making Memories again for our next vacation.

My family and I stayed here for my wedding celebration at the Meeting House in Carillon. It was perfection! The space is perfect for allowing family time but also separate time. It was a beautiful home for getting ready photos as well. The included beach chairs were an added bonus for some beach relaxation. Michele was amazing with communicating to top it off. My family is already looking to plan another stay here in the future.

This was an amazing trip for us! We attended the Seabreeze Jazz Festival and this was a beautiful home within close proximity. We loved the gated community and amenities. Michele was so responsive to all of my questions and a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to return next year!

We’ve stayed in Carillon for about 10 years and this was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. The furnishings and beds are all delightfully comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need plus there are additional refridgerators for wine and drinks. The house is very clean. The owners are very responsive when we reached out to them to help us. The 3rd floor outdoor space is a gem. You can see both the inlet lake and ocean from the 3rd floor. The joy of Carillon is renting different houses each year but this is definitely one I’d come back to!

Making Memories was the perfect spot for my family and friends to unwind for a few days over Spring Break. Three moms and three tween daughters had plenty of space to spread out at this fantastic house! The kitchen was very well stocked, as well as the game cabinet! My teen son stayed a couple of days as well and we were close enough to the "action" of Rosemary/Seacrest with his friends that everyone was happy. We loved walking to the beach and having SIX amazing beach beds with umbrellas waiting on us. The beach was not crowded and we played games until sunset! We will definitely stay here again and we are so very thankful that Michele made this home so amazingly accommodating that we could truly relax!

Your home was amazing! The kitchen was fantastic and the heart of the home. Your entire home was well equipped and comfortably accommodated our large family of seven adults and two little ones.
Front porch was a favorite spot after a day on the beach and the third floor patio was a family fav for sundowners!
Sea life was abundant. Grandkids loved the beach, hunting shells, seeing dolphins, playing in the waves and burying their feet in the sand!

This is our family’s 12th year vacationing in Carillon. Making Memories is our favorite home to date! The house is beautiful, very clean and well maintained with all the essentials provided. The owners (Michele and Shannon)were fantastic to work with and communicated very well. Our family of 10 ( ages 18 months to 81 years) had plenty of room and enjoyed spending mornings and evenings on the porches. We also enjoyed cooking in the well appointed and spacious kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful week at Making Memories!

Absolutely amazing!!
Our trip was all we dreamed and more!! The house is beautifully decorated and spacious, has everything imaginable you would need for a great vacation. The location was great, near everything from grocery store to liquor store to pharmacy to restaurants. Michele and Shannon are the absolute best people to rent their home. They were extremely responsive and accommodating. From starting the reservation process to check out it was an easy peasy! HIGHLY recommend this home! Making Memories is the perfect name for this home!

Beautiful Home
Home was very clean and spacious. Mattresses on beds were very comfortable! I always worry about that when staying away from home, but was pleasantly surprised at this house. Living room furniture very comfortable as well. Kitchen well stocked with all kitchen utensils and cookware and has a nice gas cooktop stove. Master bedroom on second floor had a nice freestanding tub that was perfect for relaxing in. Blinds in bedrooms were awesome and allowed for a morning to sleep in as needed.

My family, all adult children, stayed in this home for a week and had a fabulous time. Positives of this home:
1) A four minute walk to the beach
2) Beautiful home that is well decorated
3) Quiet private area in neighborhood
4) Kitchen is completely stocked
5) Spotlessly clean when we arrived
6) Plenty of room and private rooms for my adult kids
7) The host was FANTASTIC and went out of her way to help my daughter out with my 9 month old grandson.
8) We had one small appliance break and had a new one the same day...and extra coffee included!
10) The neighborhood was quaint, quiet and not overwhelming
11) The beach was not too crowded

1) Well that is a short list...no negatives to tell you!
We 100% would stay here again and highly recommend!

Lovely home, great location!
We loved this house for us, our 2 teenagers & a few of their friends! Plenty of space for everyone. The location was great, easy walk to the beach, tennis, basketball & pool. Really enjoyed the beach chairs/umbrellas setup daily. Also, the kitchen was well equipped, much appreciated. We would definitely consider this one again!

Perfect Family Vacation
Can't say enough good things about this property. It was the perfect layout for our group (3 families with 7 kids age 2-12). Beautiful community, very easy and pleasant walk to the beach and pool. This was the best stocked rental - both quality and variety - any of us had ever stayed in, hands down. From the moment we parked in the driveway we were planning a return trip. Can't wait to return to Making Memories!

Perfect Fall Getaway
We couldn’t have asked for a better home or area to spend the week. Carillon Beach is one of our new favorite places - beautiful houses, pools and beach!
Making Memories is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped for cooking and serving a crowd, beds are comfortable and the outdoor spaces are perfect. The kids loved watching movies on the sofa outside at night. Having a bathroom for every bedroom was perfect for getting cleaned up after the beach!
The house is a short walk to the beach and pools and the lot is situated perfectly for a little bit of privacy.
We can’t recommend this home enough, we definitely hope to return in the future!

“Making Memories” was the perfect home for our family of 8 that was attending our daughter’s wedding on the property. The VRBO process was seamless and we were definitely pleased with our stay!! Condo was very well stocked and had literally everything you need in the kitchen and bath areas! AND only a short walk to the beach!! 10/10 would do it again!!
