We went to California to have a girls get away to celebrate my 35th birthday and we absolutely were blown away by the beauty of the property. Sarah the host was so helpful and all of the ladies (7 of us) had an incredible time. The pool is beautiful and the wineries we visited near by were spectacular.
Definitely recommend staying here and we would love to come back! ❤️

Our stay for a weekend getaway with friends was INCREDIBLE! Sarah was extremely helpful, very responsive, sent us amazing recommendations for local restaurants and wineries, and the home was perfect! It was the best getaway for a serene weekend. The pool & hot tub were a perfect addition to the property, and the deer grazing in the morning were priceless! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and roomy for our adult family of 5. The propery grounds are lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. The location is perfect...close to the Dry Creek wineries that we were visiting over the weekend.

The location was perfect, a quick ride to town but in the heart of nature. The pool and hot tub were the perfect place to spend the break in the day.
Pro tip, order your Uber at least 10 minutes before you want it to arrive! We did that and had no trouble

So lovely! It’s a beautiful house in a beautiful location. We lazed by the pool (which I will admit IS pretty cold!) and watched the deer watch us. We played some bocce ball & enjoyed our dinner at the outside table. Indoors, there is plenty of room to relax & chat, play some games & cook together. Beds were super comfy. If I have any complaint, I wish I could move the motion light by the bedroom window. I think the deer were having a disco party! Thank you Sarah for a wonderful stay!

From start to finish, this house was absolutely incredible. From the huge front lawn, long driveway, pool/hot tub and garden - this house is absolutely stunning.
Sarah was great and we had connected several times before the trip took place and she was quick to respond to any questions I had during the trip.
If you're coming to town to check out what Northern CA has to offer, I would highly recommend spending at least one day at home - it's the perfect setup!

4 of us stayed at this property for 4 days at the end of April 2023. This house is in a beautiful location. Very private yet only 5-10 minutes to Healdsburg and another 5 minutes to the Vinyards, so very convenient. The house was very clean and was as shown in the pictures and description. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We had a small problem while there and Sarah had someone there to fix it within an hour. We really appreciated the response.!! Great views from the house. Late evening there were wild turkeys "gobbling" around the hillside so very rural. The only issue we had was that the internet was very spotty. Otherwise, we highly recommend Sarah's place and would plan on staying again when we are back in Sonoma.

6 college friends and I had a great wine tasting weekend here! Beautiful home but we spent most our time in the backyard enjoying the pool, BBQ, and Boccee court. The location is perfect for a central point to explore Healdsburg’s wineries like chalk hill. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home is spacious with even more living space outside. The gardens were beautiful, attracting hummingbirds, quails, and woodpeckers. Although it felt like a remote location, we were still close to shopping and many of the best wineries Sonoma has to offer.

This was a perfect getaway spot! The house is perfectly stocked with all the essentials to enjoy the location and amenities. Everything you'd ever need (even for a combo work/time off plan) is in place here. The setting is beautiful, the bedrooms are fantastic (including exceptionally good linens and mattresses), the living areas are well conceived and lovely to enjoy, the kitchen is a true working kitchen, the outdoors areas are charming, internet access totally handles what it should, the pool area leaves nothing to be desired (other than an outdoor bathroom...but who has that?!), the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. I'll definitely be booking this property again!

We had four adults visiting wine country and were very comfortable during our week there at this house. Location was perfect for vineyards around Healdsburg but also easy to get to the coast. Jack the neighborly cat and the quails kept us company.

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very comfortable for 6 adults. Lots of room to spread out.. we spent lots of time in the backyard. With a bocce court, jacuzzi, pool and bbq - what more could anyone need? The home is spacious with a big enough dining table and living room to hold all 6 of us, as well as two smaller “reading/tv nooks” for anyone who wanted some quiet time.
The property is beautiful (not your average track home neighborhood) and conveniently located.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house and the location is excellent. The kitchen is large and well stocked with all you need to cook a meal. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms is a plus.
The backyard is peaceful and a nice place to relax.
A regional park is very close for hikes and the location is perfect for wine tastings.
We hope to come back one day. Sarah is very easy to communicate with.

My girlfriends and I had the most wonderful stay. The house was spacious and the pool / hot tub was lovely. It’s the perfect retreat as you feel secluded but have all the best restaurants, wineries and outdoor activities within minutes driving from the property. Can’t wait to go back!

In the country, but very convenient to Windsor, Healdsburg, and all the surrounding wine appellations. Stunning sunset views over a lake to the west and a beautiful round barn to the north that glowed in the late afternoon light. The home is not luxurious, but is fairly generous. The kitchen has everything one needs on an extended stay. The property even comes with a very friendly outdoor cat.
Being there in the late autumn, we did not use the pool or much of the patio area, however both were inviting. The photos of the property are fair representations of what you will get, but do not adequately indicate the spaciousness of the home. Surprises were almost all positive.
Cons: The site indicates the availability of a washer/dryer. There is one in the home, but the house rules ask that it only be used in an emergency. ???
Also, you will want to be careful in the master bedroom area at night. There are three areas where there is a small step change in elevation. These can be hard to remember/find at night in the dark. We bought some small Halloween light sticks to mark them each night and were fine.
Our experience at this Wine Country Retreat was very positive and we would have no reservations about coming back again (and we most likely will).

Loved this beautiful property! This property could not have been more perfect. The room decor and bedding are beautiful and cozy. The upgraded bathrooms were gorgeous. The spacious garden, with it's forest views, pool, and bocce court, was the perfect place to wind down to visit with old friends over a bottle of wine and talk about our day of adventures in wine country. This home is the ideal setting to create many happy memories! Highly recommended!!! BTW...we fell in love with Jack, the property's four-legged, furry ambassador :-)...no worries, he stays outdoors and greets you every morning.

The house was everything as described and more. Its actually better in person and we loved utilizing the outdoor patio and grill. It was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The house is set up on a hill in a nice private neighborhood. The only issue we had was the AC as to which Sarah was very responsive and had someone check on it the next day. We actually didnt even miss it, being that it gets cool at night and during the day we were either outside or not at the house. Lovely house with plenty of room and if we are back in Sonoma we will definitely rent again!

We had an amazing girl's weekend at this house. It was a warm weekend so we spent plenty of time in the pool, enjoying the beautiful yard.
The kitchen is large and fun to cook in. The house has many places to hang out and plenty of games to keep you occupied. The only issue we had was with the AC, but Sarah was extremely responsive and helpful. I think it's since been fixed. The house was private but still only a short drive to town.
Over all we had a great time. I will definitely be renting again and would recommend for both families and groups of friends!

My group of 8 loved staying here! The house was spacious and comfortable and was the perfect place to relax after visiting local wineries. The yard and garden are beautiful, and we enjoyed the sweet neighborhood cat who stopped by to visit whenever we were outside. There are a lot of house rules, but they are all reasonable and the care that the owner puts into maintaining the house shows through. I hope to stay here again in the future.

While the house itself is beautiful and the property is exactly as described, our weekend was overrun with ants in the house. When we first got to the house we noticed a few ant traps around, so we assumed they had ants at some point, though we were never informed. When we were putting our groceries away we saw ants in the pantry and even on the bowls in the cupboards. One of the guests has a severe food allergy and all of her food along with a good majority of the others became infested and had to be thrown out. I texted the owners about this, and they seemed to be aware of the ant problem but never disclosed this through ANY of our conversations.

A few friends and I wanted a weekend outside of the city somewhere with a great pool, lots of space, and where we could cook up a storm. Sarah's home offers of those things and then some! The home is nicely situated on a hill above Windsor and neighboring homes are far away - all we could hear were the birds. The house itself is super spacious. Open floor plan that was great for entertaining and well sized bedrooms. Between days spent poolside and evenings grilling, I wouldn't hesitate to return in a second.

This is the perfect place to come back to after a day of wine tasting! The property is beautiful and very private. The outdoor space is the highlight, with a wonderfully landscaped back yard and pool/hot tub. You are literally minutes from Heldsburg and Windsor, with some of the best wineries in Sonoma county.
Sarah was super easy to deal with, and very responsive. The house is roomy and comfortable, and everything worked with no issues.

The property is absolutely breathtaking. We were up there for a wedding and didn't want to leave! The pool and attached spa are perfect for adults and kids (even though we were all adults), and the lawn is great for tossing a football or throwing the frisbee. The owner was very responsive and welcoming and made our stay more enjoyable. My friends are already bugging about when we get to go back! Highly, highly recommend.

I spent new year's at the "Wine Country Retreat" with 3 friends and we really enjoyed our stay. Sarah was a gracious host - spoke to her before we rented the place. She was super responsive to questions we had during our stay. The house is spacious, and well located. It is in a gorgeous part of Windsor surrounded by hills and lakes (vs on a suburban street). It was great for running and biking. We also enjoyed the hot tub and look forward to coming back in warmer months and using the pool. Both have a sleek, modern design.
The house itself is in good condition. 90s era design with a great view from the dining area. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. We were 4 people and could easily have doubled the size of our group in this space. The master bedroom seemed to be a different temperature from the rest of the house. There was ample parking, and the house was a good value for the area. We would come back again.

My friends and I had a great time visiting this rental. It is conveniently located less than an hour and half from downtown San Francisco, and it was easy to find. We decided to skip the wineries on our first day in Sonoma County because we were having such a fun time at the house. The house is roomy and comfortably slept 10 people. The backyard has a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub, and there are a variety of games (such as ping pong, corn hole, and horse shoes) to play in the backyard. There was also enough room to toss a football or frisbee. The owners were friendly and very accomodating to our requests.
I highly recommend this rental unit and hope to rent it again for myself and friends.
