We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at this cottage in Mashpee. We have used VRBO listings many times and have never stayed in such a clean and well-stocked home. It even had lovely shampoos, bath soaps, and lotions in each bathroom. The bath and beach towels were plush and so comfortable. The home was nicely laid out, including a great deck. We also appreciated having cable TV rather than streaming. Fells Pond is just a short walk from the house. We never had to get in touch with the owner because everything was perfect. Now if only the owners could guarantee the weather...lol

Wonderful location! My family nicknamed the house the “treehouse” because it felt like you were in the woods and yet all the amenities were nearby. Highly recommend the location and house.

Our Cape-Escape was fantastic with this beautiful home as our base. We were able to experience the entire Cape from Woods Hole to Provincetown and many experiences in between. The hospitality of our hosts was second to none. The welcome and information the Thomsen offered was helpful with our planning. The house was big and we needed nothing. The cleanliness was the best. The wrap around porch was not expected from the pictures but we enjoyed every inch of it! 10 /10

New Seabury was the perfect place to stay. The home had everything we needed, great A/C, comfortable beds, and spotless! The owners responded to our questions immediately. South Cape Beach was a short drive away and Fells pond was a great place to swim and paddleboard just a few steps from the home. Can't wait to come back

This is the 4th consecutive year for us three sisters, and we are hoping for a fifth. It continues to be the perfect property and setting for our get togethers. House was fully equipped with everything we needed. Great location for popponesett wedding. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. We enjoyed having a place to visit with family and friends. Thanks for renting your wonderful home!

This was our 2nd year Re ring on Fell’s Pond Rd., unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate, but home is roomy enough to accommodate the 8 of us, so worked out perfectly!

My husband and I spent a relaxing week with our 2 sons (ages 19 and 16). There was plenty of room for us to spread out and for them to have friends pop in for the day or overnight.
The wrap-around deck left room for a cornhole game and reading. The property is set back from the street and there is plenty of parking in the drive.
While this was our first time at Audrey and Scott’s lovely property, we’ve stayed in Popponesset for 16+ years - the house is an easy walk to the Marketplace and a quick bike ride to the Spit.
The home was stocked with everything needed and was scrupulously clean.

We enjoyed 2 weeks at Scott’s and Audrey’s home, Lovely home with lots of room, wraparound deck, which we took advantage of. 2 1/2 miles to state beach, close to Popponessett Marketplace, shopping, and restaurants. Great, quiet neighborhood. Scott and Audrey were easy to deal with. Highly recommend, and hope to return!

The owner thought of everything and we had all we needed for our stay. The home was clean, fully equipped, and very comfortable, located in a quiet community. The local area is also very nice with lots to do. We will rent here again!

From booking to checkout, everything went seemlessly . The house was beautiful with all the accommodations. The neighborhood was gorgeous and neighbors friendly. So much to do in the area. We had a wonderful getaway and definitely recommend.

The perfect home for family or friend gatherings with plenty of space to socialize or enjoy some “solitude” time. Jim’s Pond is in walkable proximity was perfect for kiddos as well as the “big” kids. Home was clean and stocked with linens, dish ware, beach accessories, etc.. Our family certainly enjoyed this special time creating memories and are already looking forward to our stay next year! We stayed multiple weeks this summer and it was a wonderful visit. The area is beautiful and the house is clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. The hosts are lovely, responsive, and really thought of everything to make our visit easy and fun.
We especially loved the many bedrooms and the beautiful wrap around deck. Highly recommended!

This house was fabulous!!!!
The house is beautiful and we loved the location.
We had 3 little ones (4-6-8) and the loft was perfect for them as a playroom and bedroom with a bathroom right there. The adults all had their own room (there were 4 of us) plus my 12 year old had his own room.
They provided coolers and a bunch of beach stuff. We got to use the neighborhood pond (walking distance) and we were close to the DCR beach for the ocean. Public beaches not too far either.
Every communication with the owners was pleasant.
I would definitely come back and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Best rental ever!
I picked this property so I could spend a week with my siblings and their spouses while attending a family wedding. Our host, Scott, was immediately available by phone to assist me with the lock box. The pictures of the rental are very accurate, the furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and there are many little amenities not available in other rentals. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with a swimming lake in walking distance. All my relatives loved our time at this wonderful rental.

We loved our stay here in 2021 and decided to come back in June 2022. We had no problems. Blessed with perfect weather, we enjoyed the patio, swimming in the pond, played games, walking trails to beach & shops. The house is spacious, comfortable, wish we didn’t have to leave!

Wonderful home and location
We wanted a place to stay that offered space for our whole family, including grandparents, siblings, and children. This home provided all the space and amenities we needed, and the hosts were incredibly kind and communicative. This home helped to make our first Cape Cod family vacation a wonderful experience.

A Cape Cod Find
We are so glad we discovered this property. The owners couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. It is spacious with a well-stocked kitchen, a large dining room table and very comfy bedrooms. The deck is set up for relaxing and socializing. We were only able to stay one week but we made the most of the delightful time we had there.

Escape to the Cape
A terrific place with terrific property owners, Scott and Audrey, we three sisters have already booked a week in 2022 for our third consecutive time. If this does not say it all, our detailed September 2021 review should. We are beyond happy that we discovered this "retreat," a wonderful alternative to Canada where for years we have gone for our sisterly reunions. Cape Cod getaway
We had a great stay in this lovely home in the Fells Pond community of New Seabury. We enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck. We spent a lot of time at the pond, which was a buzz of water activity. The area was beautifully landscaped and pleasant to walk and bike through. The house was roomy with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and soaring ceilings. It was well equipped, with everything from beach chairs and towels to rain umbrellas. The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the automatic ice maker. The air conditioning kept things very comfortable. The owner provided plenty of information about the house and the area, and was very responsive to our questions.

My family and friends had a wonderful time in this home. The high ceilings and open layout made the home feel spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed.
The neighborhood was quiet yet a very short distance from the South Cape Beach (which we loved!) and area restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed long walks around the neighborhood, too.

The location was perfect, and it was a great walking distance to Jim’s pond where we swam every day & a small town with live music & food.
The wraparound deck was perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine at night!!

Wonderful week in New Seabury at Fells Pond Road
We have stayed at many rentals on Cape Cod over the years and this house was, by far, the cleanest and well stocked house we have rented. There was everything you would need for a comfortable stay and everything was very clean. The owner was very responsive to the few questions we had. With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room and another den, there was plenty of space for our extended family of six and new grandchild to feel comfortable. It was located in a very quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy, yet close to grocery stores and Mashpee Commons. Look forward to returning in 2022!

Annual Three Sisters' Reunion
For years, my sisters and I have gone to Canada for a celebratory reunion, but Covid changed all that. While not Canada, Scott's and Audrey's Cape Cod home was an unexpected and perfect alternative for us sisters three. Located in a blissfully quiet and woodsy area of the Cape but with beaches, restaurants, and shops nearby, this property has three bedrooms all made up; three bathrooms; ample storage space; coat hangers; comfortable beds; linens; a cozy living room with comfortable seating and easy-to-use flat screen TV; a navigable galley kitchen complete with dishwasher, workable stove, multiple sets of dishes, and useful cookware; a generous dining table--does it get any better than this--and not simply for three sisters relishing a holiday but for a family with children. A generous wrap-around deck, plus second living room in loft area, and two, first-floor, small bonus rooms, each with a single bed, provide extra and useful spill-over space. Packing lots of clothes is unnecessary with an efficient, basement-located washing machine and dryer. Easy access to front door, plus a first-floor ensuite master bedroom arrrangement, would be a plus for anyone with mobility issues. The place was quite clean and easy to mantain with minimal "chatskis." Best of all, perhaps, is that Scott and Audrey are wonderful, albeit remote hosts, who seemed always to be on call, responding promptly to questions; anticipating questions we might have; and providing useful information and instructions. As much as we like our respective New England homes, we felt sad having to leave. Just one more week, please!

Great neighborhood for family getaway
Great place to stay with extended family and teens. Enjoyed walking and biking around the quiet neighborhood with my kids. Nice large outside deck and patio set that we enjoyed breakfast at each morning and cornhole games in the evening. Great communication with the property owners, too;-)

A wonderful spot!
We loved staying here! The house is spacious, with bedrooms and a living room on both floors so there are lots of places to relax. The wraparound porch is amazing and we enjoyed many cups of coffee, glasses of wine, and dinners on it. I’m a walker and loved exploring all the nearby walking paths. Scott is a wonderful host and responds quickly to any questions.

Home away from Home
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Fells Pond home. Scott and Audrey thought of everything! With beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers, we easily got to the beach with everything we needed without having to bring it all from home. Meals out on the deck were great and the furnishings were extremely comfortable for spending time together. We loved the neighborhood within New Seabury and the walking trail that led us to the Marketplace, a fun spot to get ice cream. We were very happy coming back to the home after our daily excursions and it helped make our vacation a pure success! We feel fortunate having had the opportunity to stay at this property and Scott and Audrey were extremely responsive and went above and beyond with wipes, soaps, coffee and more. Thanks for everything!

A perfect family vacation place!
This beautiful, well-maintained property is located within the Seabury resort area which will give plenty of things to do within. Lots of walking, biking, and jogging paths - I changed my running path every day and I did not feel like I explore the whole area yet. Popponesset Market place is within walking distance with many things to do with kids: eating, mini-golf, biking, kayaking.
The house was meticulously cleaned before our arrival. The kitchen and restrooms were spotless. The host gave us detailed instructions of the house in a very nice and warm welcoming letter - we did not really have to talk to them during the stay. Large deck outside was great place to sit down and enjoy coffee in the morning and beer in the afternoon. We spent a good amount of time sitting there reading and talking.
They also supply beach parasols and chairs. We went to 4 different beaches around the area, which were all great without much crowd.
Overall, this is something my family needed - relaxing and healing in very quiet area and many things to occupy my kids. We really did not want to come back but I look forward to our next visit here. This is our third time visiting Cape Cod and this was so far the best experience overall!

Peaceful and relaxing time in Mashpee
This property was just as expected from the listing, was very well equipped and welcoming. The property manager was very responsive and informative. We loved the outside space of the property and the local area. It all made for a relaxing stay for our family on Cape Cod.
