Wonderful stay. Wanted to bring the dog home with us but he wouldn't come.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. It was a great place to come back to after long hiking days. There were several books and pamphlets at the cabin that helped guide us to the most beautiful trails and waterfalls!! This is definitely a place we will return to!!

Amazing property with the nicest cabin you can find. Everything was perfect for our romantic weekend. A little hard to find in the dark but once we settled in, it felt like home. Will definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area!

Beautiful property very close to the Buffalo River! Clean, cute, and quiet (unless you count the acorns hitting the roof)! Robert and Amy, the owners took great care to make sure our October fall trip was perfect. We spent lots of time on the screened in porch—we had the best weather. We were within 45 minutes of tons of hikes/trails. Amy has a book of things to do, and we used it daily. Great retreat for couples, families or friends.

We had a great stay near Jasper and the Buffalo River! The cabin was off the beaten path but so cozy and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our family of four (kids 17 and 12). We walked in and immediately felt at home! The weather was hot and dry during our stay so we didn’t get to float but we swam and fished at the Ozark Campground nearby. We went on a couple of hikes, including Hawksbill Crag. We ate at many restaurants in the area and also visited Branson, Springfield, and Eureka Springs. It was a busy week but we enjoyed every minute!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin! We hope to be back!

Great location and easy to work with the host.

This was our second year to stay here for a girls weekend. This place has everything! We do a lot of cooking, and the kitchen is very well stocked. The furniture is comfortable. The beds are amazing. The sheets are super soft. The cabin itself is just gorgeous. Lovely touches throughout. It’s obvious it is the owners’ home away from home. Our favorite part is the screened in porch. We spent hours out there talking and laughing. It’s super close to the river. The owner is so kind and helpful. She answers questions quickly. The only negative thing I can say, and it’s really more warning, is that the steps to the upstairs loft bedroom are a bit treacherous. They are very steep and too short for a foot to fit on, so you kind of have to go up turning your foot sideways. And there’s no handrail on one side, leaving it open to the downstairs. They’re definitely manageable, just go slow and be careful. I would never let kids run up and down or put an older person upstairs. I almost feel bad mentioning it, because everything else is perfect. But if you were bringing anybody with any kind of mobility issue, like our girlfriend who’s had a hip replacement, it’s good to know in advance. She got the downstairs bedroom.

My husband and I booked this private cabin so we could enjoy a long weekend to unplug from our jobs and all of our responsibilities. When we opened the doors to this peaceful, beautifully decorated home, all the cares of the world melted away. Everything about this house is designed for comfort and relaxation. We did hike and canoe while in the area, but we raced home after each activity because we didn’t want to miss a moment of enjoying the cabin! If you are searching for a cabin that checks all the boxes, then this cabin is for you. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this cabin is definitely going on our list of favorites. It truly is a slice of Ozark heaven.

Cozy cabin in the woods will not disappear! Excellent location for trips to Buffet River area for kayaking and canoeing. The property is odd the beaten path but well worth the backroads access.

What a great place for a getaway! The cabin was not only clean but nicely furnished and perfectly decorated. Located in a very quiet and peaceful area just a short walk to the Buffalo River. Our family had a nice mix of together time in the cabin playing games and relaxing as well as hiking close by and visiting Cosmic Caverns (Mystic Caverns was closed while we were there so we had to travel a little further). We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again to take advantage of some of the other attractions in the area that we didn't have time for during this stay. When we do we will definitely stay at this property - such a special place! The owner was always quick to respond to all of our questions. Thank you again for sharing your home away from home with our family!

Our second stay here -- already talking about the next trip. Everything is perfect. Close to the river for floating, close to trails for hiking and enough room to tromp around without even having to go anywhere. The cabin is stocked with anything/everything you would need. A really, really great place.

The property was easy to find with Waze and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. It had been unseasonably warm and the fireplace had not been used in a while. After about 3 hours of trying we finally got it lit. It warms up FAST and gets REALLY warm. It is about a 20-minute hike to water going downhill with about a 3 feet drop at one point that is precarious to make. Of course, that means it is uphill all the way back. A VERY strenuous 30 minutes or so back. I wish we would have been told that the fire pit is 50 or so yards downhill from the cabin, not real easy to get to. If you forget anything you want while at the pit (or need to use the restroom), it's strenuous getting back and forth. Overall, it is a quiet getaway in a very nicely kept property. Lots of games, dvds, and books available for entertainment.

This cabin is wonderful, and so are the owners. Our new happy place!

Lovely cabin tucked away in the Buffalo river region.

We have stayed at many places in Arkansas. We love the area. This place is by far our favorite! The cabin is immaculate, Robert & Amy have designed it perfectly. No detail forgotten. The screened front porch is where we spent most of our of time while at the cabin. The porch bed is comfortable the fans keep you cool and no bugs. The sound system and T.V. (not that we watched T.V.) were an added bonus while out there. We enjoyed jeeping, hiking, canoeing, swimming at the crows hole, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors and all the animals (deer, turkey, elk, weasel, lots of fish) we came across during our outings. I claimed the rocking chair in the living room while in doors. Most comfortable spot in the living room! There wasn't one thing lacking in any part of the cabin while cooking, cleaning, etc. The master BED!!!! It's like sleeping on a cloud. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed every single day there. As a matter of fact we didn't want to leave. It truly is a home away from home. Thank you both for an amazing stay. We look forward to returning!

We had the best time the property is beautiful and had everything we needed. We felt very at home, there were neat touches everywhere. We definitely want to come back!

We enjoyed staying at this property during our canoe float on the Buffalo! It had everything we could have ever needed or wanted. The stairs up to the loft bedroom were extremely steep but the kids figured out how to back down them like going down a ladder so all was well! The house was adorable and easy to get to from Jasper while still being quiet and remote on a small dirt road. No highway noise here! We heard a Chuck-Wills-Widow each night and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

I can't say enough nice things about our stay at the cabin. The decor was lovely, fun and functional. We had every pot, pan, and gadget we needed. There were so many thoughtful extra like snacks and towels for the river. There was a short drive to river access, but I know you can walk to the river from the cabin. It was a short drive to town where we did a bit of shopping. We really enjoyed our stay, and plan on staying here again next year. Amy was awesome and answered promptly every time I messaged her.

We had a great stay here! The cabin is extremely well-appointed and very comfortable. (The loft stairs were a bit steep for our 4-year-old, but there was a selection of cots and blow-up mattresses underneath the main bed so we could set something up for him downstairs.) We didn't spend time at the river on the property (although it is accessible). However, what we loved about this place was that we could drive just a few minutes up or down Highway 7, turn off at a trailhead sign, and go for a great hike with beautiful access to the Buffalo River. Thanks, Amy! We all want to come back.

This cabin was the highlight of our trip to the Buffalo River. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Amy was a joy to work with, and if we ever return to the area, we'd love to stay here again.

The pictures of this cabin are good but once we saw it in person we were amazed. It is secluded, on a huge wooded lot adjacent to National Park property, and had everything we could have wanted for a relaxing get-away near Arkansas' best hiking trails. The cabin was decorated perfectly such that every room, bed, chair, table, deck, shelf, porch, etc. was comfortable, welcoming, clean, and appealing. No detail was neglected - even the lighting options made us feel welcome (e.g. a lit Christmas tree indoors and another one outdoors at the time of our arrival, the screened-in porch has lighting, a light illuminating the fire pit on the trail down to the river, cozy night lights, under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, lanterns, flashlights, and candles strategically placed throughout, etc.). I can't imagine a better place to stay in Arkansas for those who are looking for natural surroundings, hiking, relaxation, and fun with family.
