We had a awesome time on our trip and had a nice quiet place to Go relax and u wind at night. Plenty of room to spread out and all the needed items for our stay for 5 of us

We had a lovely time! It rained for most of our stay, but the house was cozy and a great place to hunker down. The view was really great and the kitchen was well equipped. The upstairs bedrooms are really nice, both of them master suites. The downstairs bedrooms were good too, but the spiral staircase to get down to them was steep. Also, the fifth bedroom is a large closet with a bed in it. Not very private. All of the beds were really comfy!!

Great short getaway

We so enjoyed our stay! The view was amazing. House was very clean, kitchen well stocked, and easy communication with property owner!

Perfect place for a guys weekend to hang out and hit the trails at Uwharrie!

This house is nice and was a great stay for the four nights we were there. The 5th bedroom is a closet off the living room which our kids loved but thankfully we did not need to use as an actual bedroom. House is very unique and there are two spiral staircases to separated basement areas. The dock area is awesome and we had a lot of fun playing pool and air hockey in the game room. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to someone wanting to stay at Badin lake.

We planned a family trip for my birthday. My daughter decided to bring a few friends along. The kids had a blast tubing, swimming off the dock and enjoying the game room. There was plenty of space in the house for all. The spiral staircases took a minute to get used to, but they added to the uniqueness of this beautiful home. The house and property were clean and the home was very comfortable to stay in. Coffee on the front porch in the morning was nothing short of amazing. Short boat ride to Scallywags, dollar general is close and the neighbors were super nice. Such a memorable birthday weekend. We will definitely book again.

Great place for a girls weekend getaway

We have stayed here for several years. Love it and the owner. Neighbors are great too!

The house, it's location, and the neighborhood were all great!! Waylon responded very quickly each time I had a question.

This is our 5th year renting from Waylon. The house is perfect for our family and we love that we can dock our pontoon on the property.

The house was gorgeous, spacious, and the lake setting can't be beat. We loved sitting on the porch at night to look at the stars and in the morning to catch the sunrise and drink coffee. The house is well-kept and everything worked! Even the grill was fully stocked with propane, and the whole experience could not have been better. We were in town for a wedding and it was great to come home to such a nice place after a wild day and night. We highly recommend this place.

It was everything we needed plus the home owners were extremely understanding and helpful in a time of need. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Had a great week. Neighbors on both sides were very friendly. The circular stairs were a bit much for my parents but we managed.

Thankfully our 5th person had to cancel at the last minute because the “5th” bedroom is really just a large closet off the family room! The bedroom downstairs is also the entrnce/exit from the downstairs and the glass doors have NO blinds, so don’t plan to read in bed at night if you get that room. The spiral staircase to the downstairs bedrooms is really narrow and not recommended for anyone over 60. Maybe this is good for a family with kids, but not recommended for a group of older adults (we’re all very active, but the tiny spiral stair case was ridiculous!)

We came for a wedding for the weekend and loved it.

Plenty of room at this property! 6 of us had a great time, celebrating a birthday and enjoying some much needed family time!! Definitely recommend this place!! The owners are very accommodating!

This house was amazing for our family to stay in for Thanksgiving! It was beautiful, roomy, and had a great game room!

House was lovely for a Weekend on the lake for a nearby wedding! Kitchen was fully stocked and rooms were great! Gorgeous porch views. Note to future renters- House layout is a bit odd, with the two downstairs areas not connecting… and the metal spiral staircases are a bit daunting to carry things up and down! Glad everyone in our party was able to navigate them. Perfect common spaces, but I do wish the game room and living room areas had access to bathrooms. Weird to have to go through someone’s room to get to the bathroom during meals. Especially for the folks sleeping in the closet “room”

The unique design was cool and the house was great. Loved the game room and the amount of beds for the sleeping arrangements.

We had a great time! The house was very clean and large enough to fit everyone nicely! The kids loved the game room while the adults enjoyed the porch and relaxing on the dock!

Immediately situated on a peaceful area of Baden Lake, this well-equipped home is ideal for full relaxation while having all the amenities you need for a fun and memorable vacation.Our group enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock and we also enjoyed the amenities of nearby Old North State Club (membership required). If you have a boat, bring it, there’s room for everything!The layout was perfect: two bedrooms and full bath downstairs and two bedrooms (each with an en suite bath) plus a small bedroom upstairs. The game room was awesome as well! Another bonus, the neighbors are incredibly kind, they even helped us track down a missing Amazon package. This house is the perfect size and location for a family vacation! We enjoyed having our boat docked right outside so we could ride anytime we want! The house is clean, well stocked kitchen (Keurig, pots/pans, etc) and Waylon is available via text if there are any questions. This was our fourth year here, and we’ll definitely be back next year!

We had a birthday party for our 19yo. Had a few friends over and sat out back on the beautiful deck area. Beautiful house kinda Inconvenient though because the only bathrooms upstairs are threw bedrooms and the only stairs inside are spirl and I had guests that couldn't use the stairs at all. The 5th bedroom is a bit deceiving as it is a room off the front room and literally is bifold doors with a queen bed behind it. NO ACTUAL ROOM, there's also no fuzzball table or dart board as displayed in the ad and the fuzzball table is part of why we choose this unit . My son was a bit disappointed by that but was easily distracted with the lake. we made it work and hAd an amazing time!!! Thank you for having us

We really enjoy coming out to the mountains for a getaway. This was the perfect spot for us and our friends to enjoy time together. Morning coffee on the porch, playing pool in the evenings or just enjoying each other’s company in the living room. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Property was clean and well stocked with linens and dishes. Had an issue with a staor railing and he called me within minutes of messaging!! Thanks Waylon for helping me with a special weekend.
