Cute, clean, and inviting cottage. Perfect for my husband and I to get away and relax. Beautiful setting, and very quiet neighborhood. We had an amazing time! We would come back for sure.

We stayed here for a weekend as a "last summer trip" and had the best time. The cottage was clean and comfortable, a little musty smelling, but nothing opening the front and back doors and letting a breeze through didn't quickly dispose of. We had amazing weather all weekend. We did some fishing on the nearby dock, rented a pontoon, and went out on Saturday. It was a great time at a great cottage, and we will be looking to book again next year!

Glad we could stay here for a weekend escape. Plenty to do and close to many locations of interest. I have a feeling it would be fun to stay for a week in the summer with even more activities opening in late spring. It is a cottage in the woods next to a lake with some small piers. Nothing unexpected and appeared swept/vacuumed with items close on hand if needed for the visit. Well stocked with linens, soaps and even battery operated lights for storms. Thank you so much we had a great time visiting.

Such a nice weekend getaway in a very cozy and cute cottage. Bed was very comfortable and fireplace was nice although it doesn’t provide any heat. The view of Lake Logan was perfect.

Enjoyed the clean cottage with picturesque view. The water did have a scent to it as mentioned in other reviews, but we still enjoyed the hot tub and all the amenities :) thank you!

Absolute perfect location. Close to everything Hocking/Logan has to offer. Fishing on Lake Logan, Hocking winery, Glen laurel all within 15 minutes. Perfect spot for a couple getaway. Host was SUPER responsive with the questions I had.

We overall enjoyed the stay- able to easily launch kayak from lake across the street and very convenient location. My only recommendation would be a few more towels (or encourage guests to bring own) and more comfortable outdoor seating. The hot tub was wonderful and the property was very clean!

Perfect couples getaway!
Despite having storms come through and knocking out power all over Logan, we had an amazing time. Our host was right on top of communicating with us and incredibly kind and gracious. The cottage is cozy and comfy, fantastic location for driving to hiking trails during the day, dropping the kayaks in for and afternoon paddle and then soaking your activated muscles from the day in the hot tub...all of this equalled a lovely vacation week:)

Perfect for girls weekend
My two best friends and I had a mini weekend getaway at this property. Beautiful view of the lake, the hot tub area being covered was perfect as it was rainy all weekend. We were so close to town but felt far away. Overall a great experience. The host was super easy to work with as well!

This was a great stay. Property owner made sure we were all good. Very quiet neighborhood. The lake was right across from the property. The hot tube was amazing. This will for sure be our spot every time we go to Hocking Hills if it’s available.

Perfect weekend getaway
My partner and I were looking for a relaxing place equidistant from the main shopping/restaurant strip and the state park. This little cottage did not disappoint. It’s cozy and quiet, you can walk to the lake edge in about 2 minutes. There’s a wonderful coffee shop within minutes. The hot tub was a major plus!! Thanks for the hospitality!

Wonderful lake view cabin
We were so surprised by the details in our stay at this property. The hosts were great! Easy to reach with questions, prompt on replies. Cabin was better than we could have hoped, a cottage by the lake. The view from the living room was beautiful. There was an outside ‘porch’ area where we sat and just took in the view (unseasonably warm this Christmas). The cabin was decorated beautifully with all the touches you’d want in cabin so close to the lake! It was quiet and peaceful and made for a wonderful Christmas away from home. We will definitely be back in warmer weather. One of our favorite VBRO stays!

Positives & Negatives
I am really struggling with this review; I wish there was a 3.75. The interior of the house is very nicely done & feels homey. There is both internet & cell service here which is somewhat unusual in this area. The biggest issue for me is only two small windows have screens so the majority of the windows cannot be open necessitating the use of the A/C. The kitchen is nicely stocked, the appliances all work, the hot tub is wonderful after a day of hiking. As to the outside, it's fine; there is a fire pit for which the owners left enough wood for a fire. The lake is not exactly 20 steps away, the swampy, cattail part is & the whole thing is scenic. However, if you want to fish, you will need a boat in late summer/early fall as the water near the shoreline is full of weeds. That may be different in Spring & early summer. The location is great to visit the separate areas of Hocking Hills. BTW, the vacuum, broom, and dustpan are in the living room behind the bedroom door. Unless you close that door, you don't see them.

Beautiful Lake
This cute little cabin was as advertised. Beautiful lake views and a quick walk to the lake. We fished the whole weekend and rented kayaks at the lake. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was very private and amazing. Very close to food and grocery. We had an amazing time!

Quick get away
First time to visit the area and ending up having to leave early do to a family emergency at home. However, during our short stay we greatly enjoyed the home. Great location, cozy, super clean, and even a very nice hot tub. Would recommend!

Couples getaway
We really enjoyed our stay and the property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the close proximity to Hocking Hills hiking trails and the hot tub to soak our weary muscles. We also took our paddle boards and were able to watch the sunset from the water.It was perfect for a couples getaway but I think it would be tight to sleep 4. The walk to an area of the lake where we could actually put in our paddle boards was further than expected due to a heavy concentration of cattails and Lilly pads but we made it work and had a relaxing time.

Rustic cabin by the lake
The cabin was comfortable and a perfect location. Hot and showers with a cozy bed. Kitchen was well appointed. Make sure to bring all your own cooking foods, oils, spices, coffee and teas. Access to the lake was perfect, on the quite side with only a 10 minute drive to beach and boats. Great location to Hooking Hills state park with some of the best scenery in Ohio.
